Looking to Tryko'Sam. I will be the judge as to what we will be looking for, at least while Miss Nala is busy with other matters.

she shows everyone into the infirmary.

We have an open bed now since Ms Waverider has been discharged.

she shows everyone to the room. Please have a seat. I would like to ask you a few questions before we scan. First you say that you had an experience? or an episode which resulted in some ability appearing in you? I would like you to tell me as much detail as possible. especially what you were thinking about and how you were feeling at that time.

Julie allows Asha to answer as she moves the scanner into position.

"Ummm....yeah. It happened twice. The first time I was startled because my friend Rena suddenly transformed from a humanoid shape to a giant winged snake without warning. I mean, she's a very pretty giant winged snake, but suddenly having her trying to occupy the same space I was in was pretty startling. Next thing I knew I was falling through the floor into the basement I guess...there were instruments and stuff. I turned solid again once I hit the floor down there. The second time was also because I got startled, only that time I jumped back so I went through stuff sideways instead of down before I stopped and fell after I turned solid again. And I get really, really, really hungry afterwards."

I know that feel...

Rena's search for a healing potion is somewhat frustating as any First Aid kits she encountered along the way have had their stock of potions depleted by the recent events of the weekend, and have not had a chance to be restocked yet. Growing increasingly frustrated and somewhat panicked, at last Rena finds the alchemy lab, where the rerserve potions are kept. Even these are mostly gone, but Rena snags a few with her tail, and carries them delicately in her mouth, as she couldn't really get a proper grip on the glass bottles with her tail, and she definitely didn't want to drop and break them.

Hurrying back to her room, Rena pushes her bulk into the dorm room through the door, and desposits the drool-covered potions onto the bed next to Bradley. Of course, the next problem... getting the lids off. She really missed having hands.

Then when I was watching the magic colors the second time she did it, it looks kinda sorta like magic, but not really. It's kind of-... wait. Did you say Waverider? Was she pretty and have short-ish kinda long-short brown hair?"
He goes from explaining nonchalantly what he knew about Asha to sounding concerned when what the nurse said catches up to him.

Ghalen's dreamscape appearance...probably looks like an amalgamation of himself and a red dragon. A really old one...like he flickers in and out, hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. His silver eyes are probably more intense or luminescent on his dreamscape visage...he identifies as a soldier or a knight, so his armor is orbably very visible as well, probably.

Julie moves the scanner over by Asha. Please don't feel intimidated by this machine, according to the manual it cannot actually inflict any harm.

She guides Asha to lay on the bed. before we begin, can you answer one more question? do you feel any diferent after you passed through these objects and did you happen to notice any change to the floor or the other stuff you passed trough?

As she listens to the response Julie is reading the manula as she programs the scanner.

Sorry for the delay.

On the verge of dealing with the poison coursing through Sadie's body, Phaezeriel instead turns his attention to restoring the damage it did. Psionic power flares in Phaezeriel's secondary mind, and the health of Sadie's body is restored. After a brief moment to refocus his attention, a pulse emanates from Phaezeriel and spreads 130 feet in all directions stripping away the invisibility of the unwary.

Manifesting quickened Body Purification augmented to restore 5 Constitution. Overchannel backlash damage: 5d8 ⇒ (7, 2, 7, 6, 4) = 26. Move action to regain Psionic Focus. Manifesting Eradicate Invisibility augmented to raise the save DC and radius; 130 foot radius burst centered on Phaezeriel, no SR, Reflex save DC 30 negates. Overchannel backlash damage: 5d8 ⇒ (1, 4, 2, 1, 5) = 13.

Phaezeriel glides through the cavern, using altitude and lateral position to properly place himself for an AOE power to catch the injured N'gathau that is threatening Sadie and Anahita and as many other enemies as possible in a 40 foot burst while not hitting his allies. Once he is in position, a cloud of metal shards momentarily obscures him before slashing out in all directions.

Manifesting Shrapnel Burst augmented to 19d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 4, 4, 2, 5, 5, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 2, 4, 2, 4, 2, 3, 3) = 56 damage. No SR, Reflex save DC 29 for half damage. Overchannel backlash damage: 5d8 ⇒ (6, 7, 7, 4, 5) = 29.
I am not sure how the people in this cavern are situated, FCD, so I will leave it to you how many enemies are hit. At a minimum, the one threatening Sadie and Anahita will be hit, and no allies will be hit.

Though he seems not to notice, a viscous, silver liquid trickles slowly from the corners of Phaezeriel's eyes. It looks as though the mercurial orbs themselves are leaking from their sockets.

Total damage suffered this round: 68. Total healing: 10. Current HP:182.
To everyone involved in this fight: please summarize your damage and healing as I have done above. It makes my tracking so much easiser to do.

sorry Tybs I have limited computer time at work for a bit while I am in training. so It took a while to get back to you on this

Nurse Julie addresses Tybs answering his question Yes, a Ms Melody Waverider. do you know her? I found some of her things in the room when I was cleaning up after she left here.

she stops programming the scanner for a bit to answer Tybs as he is showing signs of concern and the last thing Julie needs is another ice storm in the infirmary, Nala was enough cold for her.

Her friend a Mr. Igni brought her here, apparently he was on the shuttle with her when it happened, along with one of the Del Sol girls. I have the details here on this chart

she hands Tybs her clipboard. the top several pages contain a combination of mathematical computations and what appear to be song lyrics half completed and a few music sheets nothing really connected and definatly not very neat or organized. also there appears to be a hand drawn and rather comical picture of Igni and a note on the side of the picture "snowflakes"

one of the sheets of paper contains the following lyrics but no chords or notes it has the title "snowflakes"

lyrics:

Some people spend their whole life in the clouds
Some ride the wind and never hit the ground
Some will shine like diamonds in the sun
Heaven sent down each and every one

We are snowflakes
Floating till we find our place
From a distance we may look the same,
but we're beautiful in our own way
We are snowflakes

Will I sparkle, will I drift Or will I dance
Will I melt when I touch another's hand
Will I look for my mistakes when I fall
And remember when I get to feeling small

We are snowflakes
Floating till we find our place
From a distance we may look the same,
but we're beautiful in our own way
We are snowflakes

And all I can do is do my best
is what is that makes me different from the rest
And I for one,
with nothing less

When snowflakes,
Float until we find our place
From a distance we may look the same,
but we're beautiful in our own way
We are snowflakes
Oh, yeah snowflakes

her official chart:

indicates that she arrived in a coma
she was originally severely burned on the outside of her body most of her chest neck and face.

the external burns were healed but her throat and lungs were burned on the inside.

no other form of magical healing worked. she was encased in some sort of blue energy preventing outside influence

the blue energy was generated by Melody (note on side states that it is speculation that she created it as some sort of protective barrier)

Mel has regenerative qualities. though very slow. her wounds were healing naturally and at an accelerated pace over a normal person.

Mel's species is classified as unknown. Her physiology does not mach any known race in the schools data banks. normal nanites need to be programmed before use, could kill her if used with this programming.

at the end it indicates that the Nanites have been programmed after a full biological scan. Mel has recovered and has been discharged. the time indicates about an hour or so before you arrived.

"Evacuted? Do they need help? Pretty sure I could be of great assistance there. Who's organizing that?"

Tryko'Sam looks thoughtful at this new topic.

Glancing at Asha with a grin he says, "So, defensive, sounds like. Remind me to sneak up on you, see if we can't spook you into mastery of your power before someone with a stick up their craw takes over the process in a controlling fashion or something."

He does grin, charmingly so, butparts of what he said sounded serious.

Tybalt backs into a corner of the room, allowing Asha her space, and minimizing the aches his joints get being near a firebird.
He looks at the math page and glances at it for a moment.
All the numbers begin to shift in his vision, working out equations and reducing terms. He shuts his eyes and turns the page over, not knowing how to turn off the math function in the lace.
He opens his eyes back and looks at the lyrics page. He reads it through and smiles.
When he gets to the medical page he sets it down. He feels like it would be a breach of her privacy.
"So, she's OK, if she's not here anymore. When we're finished here, I could check on her and take these to her, if that's OK."
He seems concerned still, but less so, knowing that she had recovered enough to be released.

Made out of shadowstuff, the zombie-like person probably gets very frustrated at it's inability to actually hit the clone...after a few minutes worth of scans, he grabs the scanner and ports back to Nala.

"Here you go." it says with a bow.

I can work with this. There are pockets of infected still in Kuros. The team got the majority, but the ones who were still fighting the infection are slowly turning into the virus's new hosts. Also, just to keep in mind, these guys are crazy fast and strong. Not so much a problem for the shadow clone, just reminding folks that the zombie comparison only goes so far. :)

Nala takes the scanner and starts pulling up the data gained.

"Thank you."

She is completely absorbed with what she's reading. "Hmmm....."

"Yeah, this seems to confirm what I was suspecting. The organs are already starting to shut down. I think most of the infected wandering around attacking folks are already dead. And the virus can only survive in a living host. That's why it's so infectious. It's trying to survive, but it has to keep taking over new hosts to do so....whoever designed this thing meant it to be self-exterminating. It's supposed to kill every living thing on the planet and then die out. If we can change the virus so it can't infect new hosts, then it will die on its own. Based on the rate of decay for the virus in this room, it takes between 12 to 36 hours for the virus to fully die unless it can pull more energy from living things....it seems to feed on magical energy. Based on the scans from this victim I would guess the virus can live in a host for no more than two days before the body is just too far gone. Not even the virus's regenerative abilities can bring back the dead. And it seems to only live in the portions of the brain that control instinct. That's probably why the victims are so angry and violent. They aren't able to use higher brain function anymore."

She shook her head. "Hey, if you know a lot about factories I bet James would love to talk to you. He loves new ideas about how to make production more efficient."

"I'll take your word for it, and thanks" he smiles a tired smile "and I'd like to talk to James, help where I can, perhaps you could introduce us?" he flips a few switches "ok then, ready when you are for take off,"

"Yeah, no problem. Maybe after school tomorrow."

"Everybody's loaded and secured....looks like this is the last run," she said, seeing the last of the dwindling lines being loaded onto shuttles. She hadn't expected to feel so sad about leaving for the last time. She'd only been here the once and it wasn't a great experience. But...this was her people's whole history. And it was being destroyed. There was a certain amount of sadness to that, even if it was the kind of history best left in the past

"Let's get out of here," she said hoarsely, trying not to cry.

"Uh...you're a little late with the offer to help. The evacuations had to be done before sunset today. Can't be that much longer from now. And folks could only bring the stuff they could carry. My aunt was actually crying over some of the statues and stuff that had to be left behind. Anyways, the shuttles have been running for two days straight, so I'm pretty sure they would be able to get everybody."

Not even the virus's regenerative...

A more Ryuzo-like voice comes out of the clone...

"Well, that's good it will die out on it's own. We won't have to burn the town down to kill the virus, if it needs a host to live longer than a day and a half. Who would build such a thing though?"

Julie starts up the scanner. and the scanning process begins.

As Julie watches the monitors a very confused look on her face is clearly evident.

she starts frantically working the controls, adjusting the monitor.

This can't be possible, she says as she glances toward Asha, then back at the controls. I mean I see you there, how come the scanner says nothing?

the scanner "lens cap" is still in place

Can't fail that one.
The lense cap (if it weighs less than 5 pounds) untwists itself from the machine.
"Why don't you try it again?" Tybalt offers.

There were casualties from the attacks. A lot of them. A few chose not to come back. What was left of our supplies of scrolls, potions, and so on was used to try and bring back as many as we could. The attacker escaped. We know who it was and where they went, but I'd rather not make any of that information public knowledge. It's...going to be a long-term problem, but we're taking measures to make sure it's not a problem for the school again," she said in a flat voice.

There's a very long moment of comm silence from Tyrrin, before an answer comes. "Ehos and Jaiye?" comes her answer after a long moment, her voice also going emotionless.

After a long and frustrating few minutes struggling with the lids of the healing potions, Rena is eventually able to uncap one. As delicately as she can manage given her no hands situation (which is to say, somewhat clumsily), Rena sits Bradley up a bit so he wouldn't choke, opens his mouth, and tries to pour the bottle into his mouth.

Up to you whether or not that works Lyn. Probably only a Light or Moderate Wounds potion.

Julie blushes of embarrassment. of course, I, ahhh, yeah, I knew that she says even more timid than usual.

she goes back to the scan checking Asha over as she programs a full biological scan and tries to get her information on the molecular level.

It is good to know what you shared about your incident. It is of a great help to better understand what your next step will be.

Adon's blade strikes and strikes, landing mortal blows for a quasit... and then the quasit's body is simply gone. Whether it was a Summoned creature, or perhaps some sort of Contingency spell was triggered is not completely clear.

Knowledge (Arcana/Planes) DC18:

Typically, if a creature is Called to the plane and bound, it will actually die and leave behind a corpse. Only Summoned creatures vanish completely when they are slain.

Reflex save (Hammer) vs Shrapnel Burst: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
