Lang loks to sara a little embarassed that his distraction was so obvious.

I'm sorry Sara, it just that I have two really good friends and I am worried that...well its really complicated and you don't need to be bothered with that. Lang was about to explain some of the situation with him and Ignace and Midori but decided against it wondering if she was a little too young to understand (Lang barely understands it right now).

quickly changing the subject.

Sara if you enjoy your trip to my home in the Sunrise mountains. would like to stay there during the summer vacation time? we can set up an extra room. I already talked to the elders about it they would welcome you. and maybe we can see if you have the potintial to be an air bender like me. you could help take care of the baby owls since everyone that stays has to do a job for the temple community.

"That's good. The nanites are working, but slowly. Which is fine. I don't want to inject more just in case, but if it stops, you can use these." Once again she motions to the extra syringes she had brought. "They go inert in about a day if they aren't used and they're programmed specifically to deal with burns, so they won't really work on anything else. Just so you know."

"First thing first, before anything else, I need to finish breakfast! Or lunch! Whichever it is at this point." she seems decidedly more cheerful now that it's apparent that Adon's wounds were being treated. "You don't have to stay if you don't want to Anahita, but you should at least finish your plate." she continues cheerfully, moving over to her own (slightly cold) food.

She immediately starts to tuck into the food once again, eating at a feverish pace...

Only... after a about ten seconds, she suddenly stops, dropping a piece of bacon which splits apart as it lands on her plate. "Oh gods no..." she whispers, suddenly terrified. Her face is sheet white, and she's trembling...

Anahita's expressions when Adon speaks to her are blank, and she looks over at Vai prior to Vai starting to eat again, seemingly taking a moment to gather her thoughts.

With a look to the tray of food pushed to the side earlier when Adon sat at the table without so much as a hello, Anahita scowls and looks up to speak, but then Vai says her last bit and any building anger is gone, replaced with curiosity.

She studies Vai, as if just reading her features would be enough to know. It certainly worked in the past well enough, and Vai might make for a fairly easy study, along with most beings she had met.

alcohol is water based. Mostly water, really.

yes, I'm aware. And sort of. Firebirds usually only drink the strong stuff since the less water the better and it's a bit like taking espresso shots for them. The presence of alcohol does help them process a water based drink with only mild sickness though. However if there's no alcohol and it's only water based it'll just make them sick.

Spoiler:
Well, a lot of the info is stuff the kobolds wouldn't even know (like Kurtulmak being imprisoned by the Empire). So I'm not sure what can be true now.

I suppose most likely is that Kurtulmak found out about the fleeing amethyst dragons, but chose not to inform the Empire out of spite. This is what led to his being imprisoned. Instead, he sneaked his kobolds into the refugee group. The kobolds promptly began getting in fights over territory, believing they were entitled to more because their masters were the "real" dragons. This was the "war" Vakkler's always referencing. Around the point the Hunters became prominent, kobolds began pulling out and moving to the outskirts, angered by the blasphemous dragon-hate. And there they've remained, their mythology becoming more and more twisted. They eventually forgot who brought the Agarthians there originally, associating the non-kobolds only with hatred of the "True-Truebloods".
Okay, it works. I guess the Underdark can't logically exist, though. The idea of an entire ecosystem outside of Agartha containing aboleth and chokers and the like kind of conflicts with the "uninhabitable rock" idea.

That completely works. But you can still have your underdark and at least one aboleth. And here's why. A few extraplanar creatures got caught inside the wards when Agartha was separated from normal space because they were too close, probably due to curiosity and where they were ended up being cut off into a demiplane connected to Agartha and unable to leave to go back to their home.
