Ehos gently returns Jaiye to her feet, having carried her this far. He ensures that everyone in the Sim Room is momentarily safe before fishing for his datapad and questioning the room. 'Do you guys think we can use the Sim Room to hide? The attacker wants Jaiye dead.'

Kezzin wakes after a nap in his chambers to the sound of a Dragon's roar. Knowing it is a stupid thing to do, he drops to the door to his chamber and slips out, following the sounds of angry dragons, drawn like metal filings to a lodestone.

When he reaches the ruined door to Aananda's lab, he darts in through the doorway, perching on some ruined equipment in a corner as far from the fight as the room will allow. His eyes wide, he watches the scene with morbid and heedless fascination.

As Ace does his healing thing Mel seems totally lost her mental state is far removed from everyone else her fingers operating at a frantintic pase calculations and formulas running at a near frantic pace. once the healing burst goes off she looks up at what happened then suddenly she activates her wand again.

Temporal anomaly, our Vai is gone for a short time. now is our chance I have a theory

Mel turns to run out of the Sim room looking back security protocols are reestablished here I need to get to the source of the anomoly. In Ana's Lab, we may only have one chance at this, if it works.

Phaezeriel stops again, his eyes casting back and forth. He touches the wall to find Vai, but the spells cannot locate her in the school. With a snarl of frustration he turns and heads for the sounds of a very large, very angry dragon. It doesn't sound like Vai, but it sounds like the only place where Bad Things are still happening. I will check there first.

On his way there he manifests Schism once again and begins prepping himself for combat as he flies.

He is also totally unaware that his eyes which have been softly glowing silver since his transformation a few months ago, have begun glowing red for the second time that day.

FCD let me know when Phaezeriel gets to the lab. I dunno how far the infirmary is from the lab currently. He is moving at 250 feet per round and has perfect maneuverability.

Keme grinned, knowing full well that he had no chance against this dragon, as she had already demonstrated once. But he literally couldn't just give up. Stupid Hope.

"Well, we literally have Justice on our side now, so that's gotta count for something right? If only for additional targets...."

Everyone in the room fighting Vai who is not a Champion and anyone who is (and isn't Vai) and chooses to accept the help gets a +6 Hope bonus to attack rolls and saves.

i managed to re-establish security in this sim room but it is operating outside the rest of the school. there is no remote access to shut it back down. it should be safe for now.

The Lady Justice is quite polite and businesslike so far


As if the recent surge of violence from the Dark-Vai, and her ranting and wrath weren't enough, the instant of her disappearing results in a surge, while the Light-Vai is still removed from local time, that none can see as it bursts out and spreads through the entire school and good mile or more radius past it.

Any and all electronically powered devices, short out, all computer systems that lack anti-EMP shielding, short out, and the sheer EMP wave that passes through most living beings with fleshy brain, feel a 'wash' of something spread through their heads.

Epic level EMP blast, effectively Sundering any electronic equipment. This essentially will shut / freeze anything that's powered by electricity down, freeze it up, etc. Like a normal world EMP blast, just augmented. We'll play on an honor system here, since I'm not aware enough of who is or isn't properly shielded-- but realize, it's as if someone set of an air-blast nuke, just for the EMP wave, centered on the school, and about a mile out. This 'should' short out (and or destroy) anything that uses circuitry and electricity. If the device / object has defense against electricity, and is 'attended' (i.e. being held) it should get the current owner's fortitude save to resist the effect to not be Sundered, or shut down temporarily (1d4 rounds). DC 40 Fortitude save per item, please. Remember, it's against circuitry and electricity based stuff. A magic wand or sword wouldn't be affected-- and Sundered just means it needs to be repaired by someone with the skill (Craft: Electronics or the like). Go go tech peeps.[/ooc]

Lights (non-magical) shut down, doors that use electricity to stay open freeze in place, etc. etc. This is only versus any doorway that uses power to open/close, which I'm fairly sure is many or much of the school.

More chaos ensues!

I'm fairly sure Carl in his 'ship' with the shields is immune to this, but-- his choice to RP whether it works or not. Repairing things might be fun, no? Just ask David.

what is the save DC? and somebody really wants to get rid of Mel and is it a save for each device or one save for all. also mel's guitar is destroyed since it was unattended.

EDIT: if her sonic screwdriver ends up destroyed there is not sufficient tech here to replace that

The SIM room goes dark and once they get some light source going, the occupants will find themselves in a large square room, lined on all sides with white tiles. The door is stuck shut.

Still not entirely sure of what is going on, the young monk tries to focus in and locate this Vai's 'signature' to see if he can pursue her.

(To any others present, Fei steps into the spot just vacated by the wyrm, then closes his eyes and appears to be concentrating deeply.)

Random Fortitude Save for Neural Lace: 1d20 + 34 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 34 + 5 = 58 (I believe it is EMP-hardened, but that roll guarantees its functionality regardless.)

As the unusual wave of...something...washes over him, Fei's concentration is momentarily lost. He tries again to find her.

"awe crap" his armor arcs with electrical energies I'm probably lightly shielded but even if I get knocked out he can fix himself, though if I roll a one I'm unconcious1d20 + 12 + 3 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 12 + 3 + 10 = 37and he falls out of the air but is able to get up as his systems reboot
he goes over to Hermes and says "Hermes, Hermes wake up," he shoves his nanites into the systems waking him up as well
