I found the post. The problem is that I made a post after what my most recent Nala post was and it apparently didn't take, and I didn't realize. So it's been so long I've forgotten entirely what I said, so I just started over there.

And yes, last Sadie post was when she was dueling Adon during class. But then the timeline moved forward, so one way or the other that duel is over. We can just call it a draw.

About to respond to Dave and subsequently catch up the time, but I need to know first: how commonplace to the students would the knowledge of dragons attending/staffing Avalon be? Kevin is on his Junior year here.
They did a big reveal during the war games. It's common knowledge at the school.

We're still on Monday, the day after Silinrul arrived and just two days after Darth Vai attacked the school.

Somehow I think any team that includes both Dave and Ardiente is going to be full of awkward...
Yes I realize this,
Dave believes that fighting together with someone helps strengthen bonds,
Even brawling between two people helps to clear the air
In effect this would help with Dave's instincts from seeing him as a thief and an enemy, to seeing him as a ally.
That being said, the actuall event would still be awkward (espically at first) and Dave's the one with the dragon instincts, I don't know what the firebird instincts would say
Plus it's entirely possible that ardente would refuse the invitation

Ace can't fly really, so you're flying was kinda running away. And hey, using an anti-magic field vs a powerful caster is smart tactics.
I would seriously hope you would consider similar defenses vs your lich nemesis. Otherwise, poor Dave might end up as liquid diamond goo. Which, is not to be confused with blue dragon goo :p

He would want help you, and would try and prove that he can.

He's a sorcerer/antipaladin with a few levels of martial artist (unless I think of somethig better)
