All three you can't just practice one style you must be a master of all.

And yes, kendo would be legit, but learning from Sadie you can learn rapier or saber. Those are her specialties.
Alright cool. I'm just thinking about how I might do some changes to Vai in lieu of everything that has happened, like a slight boost in Intelligence (to represent her studiousness), and dexterity (as a result of training with Fei), and maybe switch up some of her feats to bring her more in line with the concept I had for her (she'll be stealing Aegythrax's style of fighting), and once she gets the hang of fencing, give her some gestalt levels, maybe including the duelist pretige class.

She will never be as deadly as say, Enre or Fei in close, but she'll be super annoying. :3
As previously stated, fencing is rapier or saber. or any other similar long, light blade. real, true fencing that is. that crap they do in the olympics with pieces of aluminum foil dreams of being fencing when it goes to bed at night.
Also, Vai, you might consider the magus class for some prestige levels to reflect her weapon mastery and her growing mastery of magic.

You should see the stats I have for Caedas Vai, he makes Enre look sad. Yes I stated him up.
Magus was one of the classes I had originally considered (specifically, the Kensai magus), but I'm not sure anymore. One of the main reasons is, simply, that sneak attack works so well with the Dimensional Dervish line of feats (you gain the abilities to grant yourself flanking). I imagine Vai staying at range, teleporting in to strike at vitals, then teleporting away before the enemy can strike back.
Another question Lyn, sorry. Vai might pick up a magical rapier in town, or at very least a masterwork one. Can you give me a broad idea of how much the gems are worth? Don't hestitate to shoot me down on this though.
You can get a better sword at the school for free. The gems are worth between 100-500 gp each, so you can buy a sword if you want to (You have roughly two dozen gems. We'll call it 10000 gp worth just to get a nice even number. Aananda really doesn't understand the exchange rate.) Just know that you have the option to ask someone at the school to craft one for you for free if you'd prefer. And they can add more enchantments to it.
Vai has never really had money to play with before, so she might see a fancy rapier at the shop and go a little spend-crazy.

Yesterday wasn't so bad since it was loess humid and there was a breeze, but being on the second floor even what should be a somewhat comfortable 74 degrees turns this place into an oven. And I can't even get some relief from the heat on the balcony because it's in the direct sunlight since it's too early for the trees to have leaves out. I do not deal well with warm weather. I totally spaced out this afternoon.
I dunno. Maybe after I pick up the kidlet we'll put on our swimsuits and have a water gun fight......it feels like we skipped a couple of months at least. Normally it wouldn't be this warm until May at least.
That sounds like what's happening down here - it decided to get into the 80s in the Atlanta area this week. And it isn't even officially Spring yet. Summer will already be hot enough - it doesn't need to come early too!

It's not mucous. There naturally has to be liquid inside your inner ear in order for the vibrations to travel through it. I have too much liquid. They don't really seem to know how that happens. But there's no cure so i just have to deal with the pain and bad balance that come with it.
I did want to say that I'm really enjoying reading the character interactions in the cafeteria. Especially on a day like today when I wasn't feeling so great, it was nice to see things still moving along even without much posting from me. :)
I haven't fully stated them out, but Tyrrin is a Gestalt Sorcerer (Starsoul)/Oracle (Heavens), whereas Ehos is a Gestalt Sorcerer (Maestro)/Bard. In case anyone was curious.
Yes, I have a thing for sorcerers. Leave me alone ;). (Sorcerer is simply the easiest way of doing rules for "inborn" abilities).
