It wouldn't do anything. You have a code that identifies you as friendly so it won't activate the failsafe, but your clearance is basically nothing, so only the most basic of functions would work. It might let you access the intercom. Maybe. That's all you're cleared for.

I'm not referring to the code itself giving me access, I'm talkin about class features on both sides (one side of which I don't have yet, but the other side still let's me hack supernaturally well at a touch range)
This is the one I have now
Machine Empathy (Ex): The generator is capable of amazing feats of control when working with mechanical objects and creatures. The character may attempt to cause a piece of machinery or a construct be more amiable to him and function in a way that he chooses, even if the target is unintelligent. By laying his hands upon a machine (which is defined by anything with more than three moving parts or the construct type), he may attempt to influence it as if he were making a Diplomacy check, but instead uses his Knowledge (engineering) instead. The more helpful he makes the machine to him, the more he can manipulate it with his mind, and harmful things tend to jam up or become rendered useless.
I maxed out know (engineering), skill focus, high int, max ranks, class features that boost my bonus further
That all said, I have no plans to use this now. Neither in nor out of character, I just want this cleared up in the event that something comes up

This is what I was referring to. His class abilities may communicate one thing, but his code sends another message. It tells the school nanites to give him so much access and no more. Because it's a dynamic system, no one piece of the security cloud is in contact with him long enough for his ability to override its core programming. And even if he could, that would activate the failsafe before his ability took effect because that would be beyond the access granted by his security code.

It might temporarily. Basically you'd get a one time use before Aananda changes the programming again.
I have to admit, I am very surprised Kitty didn't accidentally vanish while talking to Dad. If ever there was a time for unintentional invisibility, talking to your boyfriend's father about how you two just had sex down at the lake would definitely be it.

Couple of questions:
Which class would be best for Serrin to take in an effort to control her turning into a swarm of shadow bats? I was thinking Meditation, but I suppose there could be something else that fits.
Damni has not posted in some time. If he should return soon, I believe Jerran was looking for people to help with that particular plot? Silinrul could be of help there. So could Ace for that matter, but I think he's too focused in on this killer to want to come and help. Unless things get rapidly out of hand and thus the school, Kuros, etc end up in far more immediate danger.
Have Sil run into Jeran in the hall...like I suggested before. :P

My brother has a very old macbook, and when he went to get online the last time to post, an update of his browser was downloaded or available or something.
Anyways, whichever it was, his laptop is too old to run the new browser and thus he can't get online, save for via his Iphone or my laptop.
He's also been working a lot of double shifts at his job, so he often doesn't get home till rather late is usually too tired to do anything other than pass out.

Has she ever played at all? 3.5 perhaps? I've had some less than stellar experiences trying to teach people the game system, so that is definitely a point of hesitation for me. I'm willing to consider the possibility, but I don't have the ability to completely teach her the game system, so if that's a problem, then it won't work.
I can easily see how a Jean Grey type character could work. Psion (kineticist)/ psion (telepath) being the most obvious combo. The Phoenix force would be nigh impossible to work into the story without massive changes. There are already other things occupying that niche.
