Just Vai's father's name. Holds no real significance to her now, since Vai views Tamrin as her father-figure.

Well, Keaton and I still use our last names(Antairus), as do Razule, Ormarr, and Adsila. I guess it's up to you.

So, in secret, I've been working on a little project for my RL game. The idea to to get through a campaign/Adventure Path without dying or going as long as I can without dying.

If this works, my group will be surprised to no end!

Me: "You know, when I finally find the character that works for me, you'll all be shocked."

Another Player: "Yeah, we'll wonder why our comic relief is killing things!"

Now, I hold ill-will over being the comic-relief(I actually enjoy it), but I want to prove I can make a character that is just as durable as theirs.

I believe I had made the progression that will do it.

Oracle of Lore 1/Paladin 2/Crossblooded Sorcerer 2/Dragon Disciple 10/Crossblooded Sorcerer 5

Combined with the Demonic-Spawn Tiefling and a collection feats, I fell really confident about this character! BWAHAHAHA!

Looks like it'll work well. What is your second bloodline going to be, and what curse are you going to take for your Oracle level?

The Curse is probably going to be either Tongues or Wasting, and the second bloodline is Orc

I'm familiar with the tiefling. Good choices, all around. This should be a fairly good build.

Exactly. If you want to keep your name as a reflection of your past, that's okay. You're no less part of the family. If you want to use Sunwake as your family name, that's okay too.

My original name is now a pseudo-surname. Although I rarely get called Rivets at all. It's usually just Jim.

I think Vakkler is the only one who knows Enre's which I still think is odd.

I assumed it would be down in the registry, since it's up in the profile. As stated before, Vakkler will refer to a student either by surname or by no name at all.

Alright, I finally got over being lazy and made a new alias.

Does that mean Vakkler is automatically updated if a student changes their name with the registrar? That could be comedic if not. :)

My parents bought me the AD&D set Council of Wyrms when I was like 10 years old, and the gem dragons always appealed to me the most. Specifically the Sapphire. One of the reasons I fell in love with this game so quickly (amethyst were my second favourite).

Reading week?

I believe Americans call it "SPRING BREAK WOO!". Canadian post-secondaries call it "Reading Week", and it was apparently introduced to curb student suicides (not kidding).

Well, then, yay indeed. :)

My son has spring break this week too. His dad had to take the week off work to stay home with him because I have spring break next week. I hate so much that the schools are out of sync.

Sadly, no vacation from work, but oh well! Money money money.

Huh, my Spring Break isn't happening yet. I should probably find out when it is... Okay, it's in March I guess. Crud.

I think it happens this week because it's the same week as our provincial holiday "Family Day", so alot of people would have long weekends anyway.

My son has a second spring break in April. Why they seem to think that the kids need two spring breaks is beyond me. I'd rather they took that time off the end of the ridiculously long school year. :/

It's not I don't think. The school year here goes into mid to late June, so the school buildings have mostly all had AC added because otherwise it's not what you would call a good learning environment. :)
I could see how it could work, especially with regular breaks, but the school day is so long here and it doesn't really leave time for playing outside. And it would be a shame for kids to miss chances to play outside during the summer. Even cutting the school day shorter by an hour would help.

How big are the kids?

EDIT: Also, if anyone was ever wondering where my inspiration for Vai's look (if not her story) came from, it's Legend of Dragoon. Freaking LOVED that game.

Matthias is 5, while Gwenne and Tal are 4. They have a translation/warding amulet for Ephebe so they can understand and be understood easily.

Thought I should mention, despite the way his avatar looks, Phaezeriel actually looks very much like the quasit Here. Except he is made of shades of blue and has glowing silver eyes.

That's the picture I used as a reference when drawing Phaeze. :)

The glasses are fitting .. I have been thinking about reworking his see-in-the-dark item as a pair of glasses.

Mostly we fudge it. So long as the day goes on in the approximately right order no one much minds. :)

Pretty much what Lyn said. Generally we skip classes that aren't important to the story, but as a new character (and a new sentient), first classes are very important.
