The alcohol changing is a real thing.
Any alcohol you have on campus stays alcohol up until the point that a student tries to drink it.
That's when it changes.
And for long term students, it's always been this way. :)

Yeah, the alcohol in the punch was working just fine at the dance last year....
But the alcohol changing can be a new thing. Teachers can still drink, but not students....to avoid any further incidents. ;)

New as of the party with the fey alcohol when the tradition of spiking the punch no longer seemed so harmless. That kinda makes sense to me. So it's one of those things that kids will be upset about, but unable to complain to the adults about how they can no longer have the stuff they weren't supposed to have. :)
