The Avalon Chronicles
Game Master lynora

This is a high level rules light game set in a school for magical kids, kinda a mash-up of Soul Eater, Harry Potter, and X-Men. :)

Like Brunhilde?

Actually, I was thinkin' more of Lilly Van Shtupp from Blazing Saddles but you are in the right ballpark, sir.

Feel free to usher Spin out the Headmaster's door. I won't really be able to post again until probably Monday.

Announcement!

*ahem*

I may have found the theme song for the entire student body. Please note this song is for everyone in general, so if you like one that and think it fits your character, don't worry about this.

LINK! :)

Note: Theme songs are not required, but I will find one for just about everyone eventually... I cannot be stopped! >.>

PS: I reserve the right to use this song in-game at the next concert(which will probably be interrupted by yet another insane villain).

(Male Kobold (smurf template) Shaman 7/Fighter 4/Smurf!)

There's only one way to stop him!
*Throws a rock at Dragonborn*
I can't find any flaws with my plan.

I can believe that you can't.

*catches rock*

*throws rock back at KC*

Ow!

I found one.
Fortunately, I have a backup plan.

Did Princess Dewcup help you make this plan?

I made this plan up all by myself, dude. Note that I am swinging, and she is poking.

*Swings again*

No no its ok keep going I'm selling tickets though.

(female weredragon (amethyst) gestalt Soulknife16/oracle10/divine gunslinger6)

I had a theme song.....but I forgot it. oops.

Alright once in a life time offer here folks. Ever wondered what your character's weapons looked like but just couldn't get it down on paper?

Well Havoc XIII of Studio X is now accepting requests from the players of this game for weapons (and possibly characters later on but I don't have the time). If you are curious about my style check here. There is more stuff in the artwork page. The matching swords are for DRA's character from a game we were in as well as the bow. The gun is for Cyra's character in the same game. The double sword is mine once again same game.

(Female awww, but that would be telling Grammarian3/Artist1/Keeper of Useless Knowledge10)

Actually, I may take you up on that. I'm not so good at drawing firearms. Ephebe's gun is the one that used to belong to her dad, and I'd like to have a better visual of how it looks before I do her character portrait. :)

(Which will probably not be until May since I'm beyond swamped until the end of term. At which point I will probably go nuts trying to make up for months of barely drawing at all.)

(Male Dhampir Champion of Darkness, Order of the Gunslinger initiate)

Contact me at havocxiii@yahoo.com and let me know the details on how it should look. It may take me a while since I work from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm sometimes 9:30 pm. So my drawing time is shortened but, anyone who requests I shall do my best.

Ooh... artistry. I'll send something tommorrow.

(Male Dhampir Champion of Darkness, Order of the Gunslinger initiate)

Errr.....I have a question....is anyone here able to cast inflict spells?

(Female awww, but that would be telling Grammarian3/Artist1/Keeper of Useless Knowledge10)

Krays might be able to cast inflict spells. I don't know. Ephebe could but thus far chooses not to.

Or did you mean the school in general? Because definitely yes.

(Male Dhampir Champion of Darkness, Order of the Gunslinger initiate)

Of the group.

Asch has fast healing 1 but other than that no healing since he has negative energy alignment. So if he ever needs any healing he needs negative energy rather than positive.

Asch Redgrave wrote:

Ah. Well, in that case, if he tells Ephebe that then she can start crafting bullets and keep an inflict spell or three prepared in the meantime. She won't use them in general, but if it's for purposes of healing then she'd make an exception.

I think Krays may feed H'Tor with negative energy.

Mr. Sinh wrote:

I would think so. That's why I thought of him first. But I don't know for sure. :)

(Male Kobold (Young Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle 16 Necromancer; Champion of Death)

Yep. Krays can negative channel. He may have one or 2 inflicts...

(Male Dhampir Champion of Darkness, Order of the Gunslinger initiate)

....Ohhh....that won't end well.....a vampire and a dhampir in the same room....should at the very least cause some interesting roleplaying.

"You know you're always welcome in my classroom, Keaton. It's good for the children to learn more than one technique. Since you'll be visiting the advanced class we'll just use your first name. I like to be informal with them. It's hard to remember to use titles when someone is throwing rocks at you." ^.^

Don't worry too much, the boy is too young to come from my short reign of terror...

Of course, I didn't actually kill people myself in those days, so even if he was old enough, he would be one of mine...

Noob question...

QUOTE="narrator"] K Nala and her group glared at Ephebe as they walked past.

Who's Nala? (If she's been introduced already, a link would be fine. (just trying to be caught up on everything)

(Male Dhampir Champion of Darkness, Order of the Gunslinger initiate)

Asch is fully aware of who his father is and if he ever gets the chance is putting a bullet through his no longer beating heart.

She was introduced briefly early on when she threw a ball of alchemical goo at Ephebe. She's Ephebe's former roommate and all around personal nemesis.

Ok, thanks. I do remember that, though I didn't remember the name. Much appreciated.

By the way, forgot to mention it but I thought the detail of Slarrow trying to lick 'Sima, but getting distracted and then trying to snap at the ends of her cloud-like hair was absolutely adorable.

I mean, as adorable as a giant slimy fanged albino frog can be, of course. :-D

So, has anyone messed up and told you get your head out of the clouds?

Hahaa, not yet, no. I figure some teacher or other is bound to do it before too long. Not that I reckon she hasn't heard that one before, of course.

Well, you seem very down-to-earth about it, so I'm sure it will be a neat post!

(Male Kobold (smurf template) Shaman 7/Fighter 4/Smurf!)

Slarrow has been a life saver. I found that having a teacher can be pretty limiting when most of the characters are students. Having a character like Slarrow means I can still get involved. In a limited way, of course. :P

That's why I was delighted to hear there is a Teachers' Lounge... Where the oldsters can have a little fun. :)

Just to let you know, Mr. Sinh, you can join the Snipe Hunt too! Wipe the floor with the students!

(Female awww, but that would be telling Grammarian3/Artist1/Keeper of Useless Knowledge10)

Snipe hunts are fun for everyone. :)

And yes I did reread A Cure For Boredom last night. I figured I'd better get my details straight.

Headmaster Ryo wrote:

First - Good joke! :)

Second - I'll have to consider whether the proper Mr. Sinh would get in a donnybrook with the young toughs at the school. Yes... Yes, indeed... an interesting question.

About how long ago did the surfacers first arrive in Agartha?

Kobold Cleaver wrote:

Well, Ryleh(Lyn's really old dragon alias) was young when she and the others made Agartha, but after that I can't say.

A few thousand years at least.

I'm not THAT old!

Actually Ryleh's grandfather was one of the ones who built Agartha and she spent much of her childhood learning from him since her parents were killed by Hunters when she was young. She's only in the 'Old' age category (401-600 years) and just barely. And Agartha has been around for a few thousand years.

Ryleh wrote:

Don't lie, I saw the gray edges on your scales!

I know a good scale-colorist who can touch those up for you. And he'll throw in a deep-wing massage for free.

They're prematurely gray! With grandchildren like mine is it any wonder? ;P
