Okay, so I kind of just want to drop back in with Vakkler, but that backlog is really intimidating. The "# New" feature vanished ages ago, so I don't even know where to start. XD

Don't worry about the x new. Vakkler has been on sabbatical to clear his head so he doesn't know what is going on either. It works in character so just run with it.:)

Well...the move is done, but all of the fun 'incidentals' of changing one's address are still giving us grief - like having no cable or phone or internet at all since Friday. (I greatly dislike AT&T right now).

I might be able to post a little during the day tomorrow, but I'm just not sure. Given the eminent meeting and how things have played out without me around, it seems I need to try though...

Turns out it wasn't the charger cable. See, the loop on my laptop bag broke one day while I was walking and it fell. This cracked the motherboard in three places.

Honestly, I've had plenty of chances to get online, but without all my pdfs(and music), it just didn't feel right.

With any luck I'll get my computer back today though!

So, just read the posts since my absence, and it seems my telepathy with Lynora was working just fine. Though I never would have thought of using the aschen to form an 'infernal engine'. Impressive.

Love the way everyone is discussing things too. Really keeps the feel of the game alive and going! :)

Not gonna beat you up over it. Hope you get your computer back soon. I know it sucks to be without. I was all kinds of freaked out when my last computer melted inside, and would have been offline for weeks too if it hadn't been for my ipad which I only have cause I got it for free. It sucks suddenly not having access to all your stuff.

It's not having the stories I was writing that bothers me the most. I might not be posting them on FanFiction.net anymore, but I still have some people on other sites that like what I write. That, and I really liked the characters too.

Though I do have some notes for AoMM that I could put into action at the moment... need to read the game thread again.

Did you lose your data when the computer was damaged or is it all going to be recoverable? I know I ended up losing a lot myself due to a malfunction in my external hard drive. When the back-up goes bad you're pretty much just screwed. Hopefully it will work out better for you. :)

And I'm looking forward to AoMM getting started again whenever you can. :)

Thankfully the harddrive doesn't appear to be damaged, just the motherboard. With any luck, I still have everything on my computer that was there before this happened.

Also, my brain is feeling kinda esplodey and very fried so I may take a bit getting back to people on stuff. I'm not sure which is worse, organic chemistry which makes no sense or c++ where I find new and interesting ways to make the computer not work. I got to do both today...I'll just go cry now. :/

I am experiencing technical difficulties today due to a very long power outage. Had to go to a coffeehouse to do a calc assignment that had to be turned in online before midnight. Had to keep kidlet up very late to do so. Have to get up early tomorrow to go to father-in-law's b-day party. Father-in-law has same b-day as my mom. Which just reminds me how much I miss my mom. You know, maybe it's just as well that I haven't been able to post today given the mood I'm in. :/

Yeah, I'm mostly caught up with the homework now. Had to spend today shoveling out the house from all the accumulated mess. Had a bit of a windfall since the kidlet got in trouble at school today so had to work off his punishment by helping me clean. ^.^

Preparations for the Infernal Engines arrival are well under way. Canals are being dug to be flooded by water later in order to control where the IE goes, and a team of brute force combatants has been/is still being created.

It is a coincidence that the abbr. for the Infernal Engine and Internet Explorer are the same....but it's a really appropriate coincidence. :D
