I don't see this impacting anything currently in the thread, but for the sake of due process...
I will be out of pocket from April 27 until May 7. My wife has to have some orthopedic surgery in the morning, and we're going to be away from home for most of the time after that for her recovery.
I got sidelined by a migraine. The medicine is starting to work thank goodness. Anyways I will have to catch up with the thread again after dinner. Another late night study session tonight. But the end is in sight. Two classes all done. Now I just have to wrap up this last one.

Long story short - my wife's surgery (torn ACL replacement in her leg) got canceled at the last possible minute due to the doctor suffering some kind of shoulder/arm injury (that I still have no details about).
Our vacation time that we set up next week for her initial recovery now has to be scrapped, and we have to wait until Monday to call the doctor's office to reschedule the surgery and the time off. So lots of logistics we have to try and fix on the fly, basically. (o.O)

But in the grand scheme of things going wrong....while this is mightily annoying, I'll take it over the potential alternatives. My wife is okay and that's what matters.

So my wife calls the ortho doctor's office and is told that he is in the hospital himself - she'll need to call back on Friday to see if they have any more information on rescheduling.

We still have no idea...they're not being very forthcoming with information.
Hopefully we'll get a real update on Friday. We can't keep hanging out in the wind with this - both of our employers need to know what we're doing and when.

I'm not actually familiar with Ranma 1/2 aside from its title and I'd never heard of Junkyo. So any resemblance is a total coincidence. :)
And she is half lycan. The reason she can't shift has to do with her position as the winter princess. Half-fey and lycanthrope are both templates after all. She can have both. :)

I figured that it was a variant homunculus, but that makes sense. Of course, Vai doesn't understand any of this (though Phaezeriel's lessons are helping).
Is this a bad thing? I was just joking, but seriously, if it's becoming a problem I can try and slow down. I really am mostly just trying to make sure that everyone has stuff to do and gets their chance to have plotline. That often means running multiple stories at once which means lot of posts. But I don't want to flood the thread so much that no one can follow and it becomes unfun.
