As a note, Arthur at least of my characters would not agree with that parenting style
But weirdly enough only him and chao are over that opinion.
I'd think that given how many characters I have I'd have more that weren't of that opinion
Are all my dudes (well, except chao but he's an a*@+%$$) crazy?
Edit: huh it bleeps a~%$&%# uh jerk
oh and speaking of crazy, I'm really looking forward to Dave's next therapy session
I gots some plans, plans that will not make Dave happy! This is only the second or third time I've gotten excited for bad things happening to my characters (first time within this particular game.

Will post to game tomorrow. So much family time it's impossible to think straight. Holidays are hard for introverts. I just want everybody to go back to work and school. :)
Apparently I need to relearn the days of the week..... :P
Or I had a bunch of stuff happen in the mean time, like my car breaking down. It's all better now thank goodness. It was just the battery that finally decided it had had enough. So my schedule got all messed up. Sorry for the delay.

Belated happy new year. For new year my family got the flu from hell! Such a great way to start the year! .... So I am hoping to post to the game thread this evening if dragging myself to the grocery store because we are out of all the things doesn't sap all of my energy first. But the thought is there!

So, Tybs is asleep because of the Balance thing. This is because pretty much any drop in energy is enough to knock him out right now with the shape he's in. If it's enough to make healthy champions tired, this makes sense for his condition.
So, question is, is the drain on power going somewhere on this plane, such that it could be traced/visibly going towards a direction?
I don't know who would bring a nurse in to help, but it'd be apparent by his charts that with his magical energy drained, he was being kept concious by his champion energy, and something is draining it, so he went unconcious, akin to having a crutch knocked out from under him.

Alright, now that I'm all settled in and on my iPad instead of my phone....
Jasper was pulled to the site hundreds of years in the past through his champion object and a little back room Patron wheeling and alliance forming. (Surprised nobody noticed how the aschen were going back and forth across time to fetch the objects in the first place.) Like the rest of the group he will be transported to the present as soon as the ritual is finished.
This is where it gets complicated. See, there's a lot of champions of time running amok in this story. And they can all go back and forth in time at will right now because Kronos really is at war with themself. At the moment a lot of the Ephebe clones are dead and a few more are in the past. A few are in the present. Veesha is in the past against her will. She basically got dragged there. Aurix is proving harder to manipulate and is staying in the present doing what he does. See, this ritual isn't just bringing back Balance, it's also completely rewriting Kronos. So due to Kronos's nature, there are actually two completely separate Kronoses because s/he exists at all points of time at once and therefore there have always been two. (Been dropping hints of that twist since the beginning actually...didn't know I was going to use it this way, but it was always in the works.) This explains a lot of why Kronos often seems so contradictory. So Time has multiple personalities with often contradictory ideas and goals. And Balance, when balance comes back, is going to be back in the present not the past. Basically Time has banished Balance from time for the centuries that passed between the death of balance and the present. And it costs Kronos a lot. Nothing prevents you from winning a contest of power like being your own opponent. Why did Kronos do all this? <River Song> Spoilers! </River Song> :P
So that's your color commentary on the battle/ritual in progress. :)

I did notice the aschen (after it was explained they were in the past) but assumed ephebee was makeing it happen
wait, if there are ephebees in the present still.... when/if dave shows up at the physical location.... could he hitch a ride?color comentary: so this is what it looks like when a being who exists at all points in time changes his mind....

That last post by David seems disconnected from the previous, also might wanna re-read what he said and fix it. Unless of course, he's so upset and enraged that he can't formulate complete, coherent thoughts. At which point, you should probably state that. Cuz 'who dare take from me' sounds kinda neanderthal.
lynora |
I was just gonna comment on that. Not how it sounds so much as clarifying that no energy is being taken from Dave. He was among the few the aschen couldn't access when they were on their collecting spree. So just want to make sure that he's meaning that he's upset about Tybs (he does get pretty possessive) and not any kind if misunderstanding. :)

Ephebe probably doesn't have the band width to notice this, but Krays is getting dangerously anxious...
She definitely doesn't. Rewriting Time is not an easy thing and she is not even able to notice the battle going on around her. Trying to get anything more from her than health status right now is the psychic equivalent of getting hit over the head with a two by four. (Because that's about how it feels to do what she's doing.)
David.De'Foul |
As a note into dave's psychie
If he was the one being drained and as a result just felt slightly tired he would probably still check it out, but would not really be angry, mostly just curious.
But this is hurting tybalt.
That's unacceptable.
