The Library {Table 2} [Discussion]

No PC knows anything about any other PC yet, so no more than name.
Well, I be Shaeda Stormborn. Eastern Time. How I like to play? Shiver me timbers, who knows. I certainly like randomly discussing "stuff" in character to bring a feel to the character that the numbers don't show. It will be interesting here, it's unlikely if Shaeda even knows if she likes licorice.
As a player, the puppetmaster behind Shaeda, I'm Tripp. 46 years old, married, father of a 6 year old. I've been a firefighter, infantryman, warehouse worker, flipped burgers, delivered pizzas, and for the last long time been a safety engineer. The first two in the list give me a quirky sense of what individuals who depend on each other for life and death choice will discuss, and that's what I mean by "discussing stuff."
With Shaeda being a bard, it will be interesting to know, but not know, things. Anyone watch Blindspot or the Jason Bourne stuff? That's kind of how I see this.
I've played every version of D&D since 1979 except 4 and 5. I stopped at Pathfinder. Played Alternity, which was an awesome sci fi mechanic with two good settings.

Hello, I'm Adam and I am Mia Curseborn's player. I'm on Central time and as for playstyle, I tend to like the roleplaying. I tend to do things based on what feels right for the character, which can sometimes lead to some very, very sticky situations and very emotional characters.
As a player, well, I'm 26. I graduated from the University of Alabama a few years ago with a bachelor's in Computer Science and am currently working for a local IT/Web Design shop as a web developer. Not married, and I don't plan to be anytime soon. I got started in Pathfinder with the Pathfinder Society back in 2011 and have since gotten my toes wet in GURPS, Fate, and the Apocalypse Engine (Dungeon World/Planet).
As with Shaeda, it's going to be interesting to see how things progress with Mia. I'm not sure if GM Panic is going to be doing the same thing as DM Nate, but either way, it should be fun.

I have been playing RPGs from the Red box and Traveler Book 1-3, I think DnD has become a copy of pathfinder, but 13th age is good and published by my mate Simon. I sometimes play-test games, kind of known for braking any game system given me, and and my con games that have become a little Infamous in some cycles for being a little PG18+ [think deadpool]

Real life, from UK, long long ago, lived in a lot of places on earth, now based in North West China, just down from Scary NK. Me and my current partner of 14 years have a 8 year old son who's the Joy of my life.
I'm a technologist, I'm part owner of two companies, Both tech based. One an online B2B platform, the other a VR tech company. Right now I'm working on setting up a 3ed, so becoming a serial entrepreneur by the looks of it.
Well I do this to get rid of stress and keep my mind on something silly,
[I dislike computer games I find them boring and unimaginative] I have this thing where I can't switch off my mind, I can only point it at something else to think about. Relaxing for me is a problem, so I'm doing stuff all the time. Sometimes 4 things at once as my partner says.
Right now my workload is lite so I have time for this. I GM one other game on here, but that is slow. This I think will be faster.
Once I win miss world I want to work with Children and make the world a better place.
Mine and Nates setting are intrinsically linked, but this team will be starting from another point, and with other goals.

I would players to post with in 48 hours of being asked to or when events dictate, if they don't or can't Ill bot.

Hi I'm Patrick. I' on the east coast (EST). I'm divorced with a couple of adult kids. 47 years old. I'm middle management in a large corp. My life is boring, but well funded. I enjoy reading history, science, horror, philosophy I've been gaming on and off for most of my life. Something about the math married to creativity and chance that I enjoy. I'm particularly fond of puzzles, so this game is right up my ally.
Greetings. I am the ghost in the machine. Well, really I'm mostly an interested observer, but I'll be assisting GM Panic periodically behind the scenes. This table promises to be considerably different than table 1; I can't wait to see how it develops.
One word of warning- you maybe shouldn't spy on the other table... their circumstances are different than yours (so some of what you might 'learn' may not actually apply to you at all), and if you do discover relevant information it could be spoiling a reveal your GM had planned!
Anyways, I'm really glad more of these characters are finding life in a game (and especially some more old timers getting picked). Congrats and happy gaming.

Copy and paste the entire thing into your profile, move and add whats missing and save it. Its a simple one, so one fits all.
I want you to use this format is it helps me loads, in finding whats on your sheet an checking things,
If there is a number on your sheet I want to known from where it came from, I don't have the time to look up rule books to check you build, so show the working out.

Ok, hi everybody! I'm Berstuk Cert aka Mystery Cult aka Igor in real life.
In real life: 28 years old, brazilian jiu jitsu practitioner and coach, owner of the mixed martial arts gym etc. It's like a multi-classing combo of monk-grappler, cult leader (because martial arts are religion too, believe me) and some kind of merchant :) Moscow, Russia, UMT +3. It is important to say - English is not a native language for me and at the moment I don't have a lot of practice in addition to this forum. So, yes, if sometimes you will see some mistakes... or oddities... just don't be surprised. I'm doing my best to avoid it.
In roleplay games: last year RPGs of this format completely replaced computer RPGs for me. I like the option to communicate with real people and express myself as I see fit but not as prescribed in the 'script of the game'. Also, I like interesting characters. I like when my characters get their own personalities when even I myself can't predict how exactly they will behave in certain situations. They must be filled with life - and it's impossible (for me) to do this in advance. This happens in good games with good situations in them - when the choices, actions and consequences form what for me as a player interesting to take in my own experience.
In this game: Berstuk is completely blind, but he turned it from his weak side to the strong one. He developed feelings so perfectly that he sees more than a normal sighted person... But in a limited range. This is a very interesting concept for roleplay (at least for me) and I'm grateful for GM Panic for suggesting to modify Berstuk this way (in the first version, my character was not completely blind). I hope it's not too much about the character, because it was in the description before the link here ))

Ho ho everybody! I'm Marty from the UK (GMT).
I'm a thirty something engineering student. I used to play RPGs when I was younger, but had to stop when real life got in the way. I just found out about play by post and am very excited with the prospect diving back into the hobby. My PC is Ebon Pennyfeather, a rather impulsive character who may get himself into a few scrapes. I'm very much looking forward to the mystery of it all and how such a diverse group of characters will interact with each other.
I should mention that I have exams tomorrow and on Tuesday so my posts will be a bit sporadic for a day or two. But after that, posting regularly won't be a problem (since I work from home.)

We are down one mage, I sent a MP to one of two I wanted in and they have not got back to me. So I have now PMed the other and He is willing. If I have not got a PM back from there other in 10 hours I am calling at and having the other come in.

Just to confirm, all of us, whether we used herolab or not need to say where the numbers came from, correct?
yes, Its juts so I don't have to scan up and down PC sheets and into books to work out how you got the numbers.
Also it helps with effects such as con loss etc.
We will have one other player joining us who is a mage, in this way we will have all bases covered and have 6 races.
I wanted to have as wide a catchment as I could.

Pretty sure my character is all sorted now. I may have gone a little overboard with the attacks, but I like to know what my options are.
