Male Oread Student of Stone Flowing Monk/4 Lore Warden 2 (AC 22/21/18, HP 53/53, Fort +9, Ref +8, Will +7)

Ehad looks at each who has responded, curious about each number. 7 the number symbolizing ki, serenity, and completion.

Unnamed

what will you all do with these numbers?

Can we tell if the boxes have room for multiple digits? In other words, could we tell if a 19 or 42 would fit?

Unnamed

you are not sure. It depends on how large the digits are when they appear in the boxes.

"Let's give this a try then. Salus, I believe you were first to enter the tower. Let's have you press your number first, then Varin, then Ehad, then Kracow, and me last."

Salus nods and presses his number, 7.

The number "07" flashes into the first box then a bright red "X" flares through it. The entire room crackles with energy and color.

All take

if any of you were undead you would notice positive as well

Varin mutters a few words and waves his wand over boneyard. Then moves to everyone else...
Two each

Boneyard:

1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Ehad:

1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Salus:

1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Kracow:

1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

And himself :

1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

There feel better guys?

I assume my resist elements acid is still up from when Varin was released? Or has it been loner than 30 minutes?

Male Oread Student of Stone Flowing Monk/4 Lore Warden 2 (AC 22/21/18, HP 53/53, Fort +9, Ref +8, Will +7)

Hehe, I found another series of numbers it could be. Dont forget my munchkin, he's hurting as well.
At the shock of being well, shocked Ehad ponders out loud.
Hmm, this doesn't bode well, if it wasn't first to last, could it be last to first? Or maybe a story of numbers 5 friends seek entrance into 1 tower, they fought their way through 2 invisible enemies, were healed by 1's pure intent and saved 1 of their number from death. Any ideas?

once again the red X flares.

Can we use the average cure light wound roll of 4.5 per charge? Or want us to roll for the wand?

Kracow waits for the clw wand to be used on every one (4 charges each to heal 18hp) before pressing buttons.

Maybe something in our collective memory can help with this riddle?
Int roll 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 3 - 2 = 19

Otherwise we may have to guess through several thousand numbers and combinations

they means means characters

Male Oread Student of Stone Flowing Monk/4 Lore Warden 2 (AC 22/21/18, HP 53/53, Fort +9, Ref +8, Will +7)

After pondering the riddle of the door. Ehad smiles, steps forward, hits the number seven while muttering it would be a shame if we forgot anything else. i assume that speaking it would also be his surface thought as he is having to remember what he was thinking about

Unnamed

huh?

5d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 3, 3, 3) = 17 same order of damage

hp 52/55

I thought of 14 and green when entering, but I'm not sure how colors can be numbers.

Male Oread Student of Stone Flowing Monk/4 Lore Warden 2 (AC 22/21/18, HP 53/53, Fort +9, Ref +8, Will +7)

well that was embarassing. I figured you meant the surface thought.

Boneyard Wis 1d20 ⇒ 20

Boneyard believes that perhaps he should be thinking about all of his thoughts as the party entered the tower not just the number to figure out the correct order. He is also SURE that the first number is not 7, in fact everyone is pretty sure about that, even the ooze in the box

didn't you say order does not matter?

i said the order of ENTERING does not matter

they entered, then I followed it up by saying "they" means the party members

"I believe we're thinking about the right time period...when we entered the tower. But, obviously "7" is not the first number. There needs to be another trick to the order. Salus thought of red. Kracow thought of green. I recall that I also thought of a color - white. Does everyone else remember their color? Perhaps there is another trick to this. The rainbow has many colors - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, and white is made of all of those colors. Of course, we already know that the combination of Salus and 7 isn't the way to start. Did anyone else think of red? Or shall we try starting with me?"

Certainly other ideas are welcome. Also, what did Salus's Mythic ability do there? As far as I know I'm only healed the 2 hp from the statue so I'm at 13/37 right now.

While Boneyard waits for others to weigh in, he takes the wand and begins healing himself. 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 and 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 and 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 and 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5. So 31/37 unless Salus did something fancy there.

Stats:
AC 15/12/13 HP 52/52 F+4 R+10 W+10 Init +2 Per +18

Boneyard smacks himself on the head. "Of course. First room was white, the second room had a red light, the third room had a dark green crypt, the fourth room had blue lights, and the last room had scarlet blob. Me, Salus, Kracow. Of Ehad and Varin, who was blue and who was scarlet? And for the sake of the gods, no one touch that pad until we're all fully healed."

Unnamed

Salus was using it on his Wisdom check I believe

We can assume that Varin will heal everyone to full as well before you enter the next numbers. If you think you know the order

Stats:
AC 15/12/13 HP 52/52 F+4 R+10 W+10 Init +2 Per +18

Ok, keeping things moving, I will heal myself one more time. 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4. hp 35/37.

Boneyard finishes healing himself and then helps to heal the rest of the group, including Ehad's new friend. "Anything else anyone wants to try, before we see if this works?" While waiting on an answer, Boneyard casts bless on the group.

Male Oread Student of Stone Flowing Monk/4 Lore Warden 2 (AC 22/21/18, HP 53/53, Fort +9, Ref +8, Will +7)

lolz, so I just remebered the acid resistance that I have....
Ehad pulls out a few bits of parchment from his pack. If we need we can make use of these. Our employer was kind enough to provide them but I'd forgotten about them (4 scrolls of resist energy)

So what numbers shall we key in and in what order?

So excited!

I figured you were just getting tired of us struggling and gave us another chance :)
