I post mainly from my phone and my surface tablet, and roll20 doesn't work on either. I could try and use my wife's laptop, but it would only be for a few minutes each evening that I have for free time.
I mostly post at work.
-Nago- |
I haven't used roll20 before but I also mainly post from my phone. I have a laptop though so using roll20 shouldn't be an issue for me.
FiddlersGreen |
Well, if roll20 is an issue, I'll just re-upload them to a google drawing I guess. I still have the extracted maps in my working folder.
I just generally prefer roll20 since the snap-on grid helps keep things tidy.

I am going to have very limited internet access this weekend, so please feel free to bot me for the next few days. Should be back to normal on Monday.
FiddlersGreen |
I'm away from the 13th to the 17th, but I am happy to run the wounded wisp after that since I already have it prepared.

Who's up next? And what's up next? The Confirmation?

I thought wisp was next, then me with confirmation. I'll post my info later when I am at a real computer.

I think we did say Wisp next, and FiddlersGreen says he's prepped, but also out for 4 days (July 13-17). I could run it too (running it for a group right now), but I am also fine with a four-five day hiatus...
Also, I will be pretty quiet for the next few days with family holiday time. Please bot me if necessary. Should be back to normal on Monday.

I can run the Wounded Wisp next, but it will mean we will need to take a 1 week hiatus whilst I am away. Alternatively, someone else can run and bot me for the 5 days I am away. Up to you guys.
DM PatheticWretch |
Hey guys, I've only run a couple scenarios during Game Day, and it seems they were reported differently.
I'm reporting the event in MyPathfinderSociety, etc.
The questions I had were:
1. How do I apply credit to my own character? Do I just add that character as one that played?
2. Is First Steps worth 1 or 2 Prestige? I can't find it in the scenario, and it's not on the sheet at the back...
DM PatheticWretch |
Okay, I think I answered all my own questions except for maybe Starling's question.
Aside from that, the session has been reported!
And here are the Chronicle Sheets!
Let me know if you see any issues.
I guess we kick off Wisp next with FiddlersGreen, then Confirmation with Steven_Evil? I think we should plan ahead further with the whole season soon, too.
On another note, I've really tried to prioritize this over any other sessions while playing the role of DM. While I am sure I had room for improvement in the DMing department, I really hope that whoever is in that chair can make this a big priority, at a bare minimum posting 1/day and hopefully a little more for the month or so it's your turn.
Anyway, once Fiddler's ready, let's go at it again!
-Nago- |
I am away from my home computer atm so when I get home I will get my CS.
For botting, should one of the players bot the GM if the GM can't get on for some reason? I don't know if it should be done though, even if the ability is there.
For the rest of the season though, I have access to all the scenarios, including all the ones from Seasons 1-3. When I have time over the next few days I will make a table of the scenarios that we have played to make the decision of who will be GMing easier. And for the instances where more than one person has played a certain one, I will try to also list some possible replacement scenarios.
FiddlersGreen |
I agree, which is why I am happy for someone else run Wounded Wisp if they are already prepared, in light of me going away for a week.
Starling the Swift |
Umm... I don't know what that is. I've never gotten into running/reporting Pathfinder games. Should I just remake Starling and get another Pathfinder number or something?
-Nago- |
Here is the sheet. If I missed anything, go ahead and fill it in. With the information I had when I filled it out, we need two alternative 1-5 scenarios.
GM Fuzzfoot |
Sure I can do wisp but can't give it full attention until Monday. But I can probably get it started tomorrow.
We just staying in same thread, right?
Serak Hamistagon |
I'll try and get my chronicle applied tomorrow. Not sure how busy I'm going to be.
DM PatheticWretch |
Nago, that looks fantastic. Thanks for putting that together. As for order, only the Glories of the Past appear to require an order. I would just suggest we sort the scenarios by level range, but otherwise play them in chronological order within the level range.
Any other suggestions on how to do that?
Fuzzfoot, thanks for taking the next one. I'm sure everyone can apply their chronicle as you get up and running. The same thread is fine with me...the only issue is you can't edit things to put the map on the front page, for example (you would just have to do it like I did). I don't have a preference on keeping it all in one thread, or setting up a new thread for each scenario.
Aeleth, I received your PM re the correction to your Chronicle. I'll get that to you when I'm able, but it might be a bit with the holiday. :)
Stephani du Boules |
OK, I decided to create a separate thread, just to keep it cleaner with the switching GMs and easier for posting maps, etc. I was going to keep the same Discussion thread, but couldn't figure out how to link one that wasn't my own thread.
The continuing saga of the six seasoned Pathfinders...
Next episode: The Wounded Wisp
DM PatheticWretch |
Here is the sheet. If I missed anything, go ahead and fill it in. With the information I had when I filled it out, we need two alternative 1-5 scenarios.
I had another go at the SHEET. I left your work, then added a page 2 with the scenarios sorted by level (otherwise they are in order). I also added a column for anticipated level.
See what you think about the scenario order. I didn't add anything for replacement scenarios we might need, but at least we will know what level they should be. I think it would be nice to plan out the whole season.
-Nago- |
As long as Rise of the Goblin Guild is first I'm happy (a wand of cure light wounds is on the chronicle sheet). I was thinking though to kind of split each of the tiers in half so half can be low and the other can be high. For example, we play the first 3 of 1-5, then play the first 3 of 3-7 since we would then be level 3, finish up the 1-5 in high tier since we would be level 4, first 3 of 5-9, finish up 3-7, etc. That way we can possibly get more high tier items earlier...maybe. I don't know since the highest level character I've gotten is level 5 through Adventure Paths and Modules and a second one through low tier scenarios and more Modules.
Stephani du Boules |
I missed the list before, so I just updated my "Already Played". There were only two from this season, I think (Although Rise of the Goblin Guild is one of them).
-Nago- |
So we need 3 alternatives for Rise of the Goblin Guild, Cyphermage Dilemma, and Veteran's Vault.
Elvik Dimbelt |
I also updated the "Already Played" list. I played Severing Ties, The Disappeared and The Night March of Kalkamedes, but I can still get credit for GMing The Night March and Severing Ties.
DM PatheticWretch |
I guess on some of these we need alternates for, there's also a possibility or replaying with a GM star, right?
As for playing some up/down, I suppose I don't know enough about it to know why that is better, but don't have any objection if you want to tweak the play order. I was just trying to get them as close as possible to chronological order in case the story unfolds a certain way.
Anyone else want to weigh in on the order we play these through?
Serak Hamistagon |
I can still get GM credit for all of the ones I have listed as played through, and I'll let the more seasoned PFS vets determine the best order as far as level and plot.
So go ahead and put me down as GM'ing everything I have played.
DM PatheticWretch |
Okay, so we still have three tasks left:
1. Decide replacement scenarios. Any seasons to avoid that people here have played heavily? I would suggest that those who have the most need of replacements nominate some.
2. Nago, I had ordered the scenarios, but don't have any objection if you want to re-order. I guess I don't fully understand how playing up/down helps us, but feel free to put them in an order you prefer.
3. Assign scenarios to DMs. Let's get 1 and 2 done first.
-Nago- |
Under sheet 3 here, I have listed all the 1-5 scenarios that I have access to. Go ahead and vote on the ones that you would prefer to play. And if you have access to ones that I did not list, feel free to add them as well.
I think the three with the most blank spaces should be the ones we play.
Stephani du Boules |
OK - I went through the list (Sheet 3), and was surprised how many I have done, but most of them I have only played Core - so while I may know the material, I am still eligible to play in this group. A couple I have played standard, but could still GM. Only 3 are right out for me (Mists, Frostfur, and Trial, all of which I have played and GMd 2 times).
-Nago- |
I should say that the ones I "can't" do, I can GM.
Stephani du Boules |
So, are we set on this? I think we might want to work with Season 3 first, as it has the least conversion issues.
Looks like we could do #3-05 Tide of Twilight instead of 4-01 Rise of Goblin Guild if I GM it.
03-07: Echoes of the Overwatched looks clear, so we could use it in place of The Disappeared.
03-18: The God’s Market Gamble could be in place of Cyphermage Dilemma
03-19: The Icebound Outpost can replace Veteren's Vault if PatheticWretch is GM.
Other than that, it looks like we can keep the rest of the list as long as the one person who has played it takes the GM reigns.
I have filled these in as Alternatives and also the Who will GM for the person who must GM as it stands. The rest are open.
I think if we try to each pick 1 spots to GM for every two levels, we should be good. Only half of us have to GM 3 times, and since I would be going one now and one in Level 2, I will be happy to take a 3rd time at one of the upper levels.
Also, since FiddlersGreen is already on the list for 3 times just due to "already played" status, if he is good with that, then he shouldn't need to GM before level 5. Or we could find a replacement for one (or more) of these upper level scenarios. He is out on vacation right now, so may need to wait for an answer here...
