The indicated door leads to a hall and another room, this one empty except for some words carved in a haphazard scrawl in the northwest corner.

The words read, "The gold dragon lies when the liar dies"

"Hmmm... Impressive!" He thinks for a second before giving up, clearly not the smartest type. "Are we supposed to find a dragon or something?"

Male Human Bard(Archaeologist) 1

Robert mused for a moment on the writings, leaning on his staff for support, but was snapped out of his reverie by Lorenzo's translation and Alec's comment. "I should certainly hope not. And even if we are, I believe we have already been given our salvation."

He turned to face Lorenzo, "We just have to kill the bard." Robert's smile was wry and his eyes bright, he meant no ill by his words.

I've updated the map with coordinates.

Knowledge: Dungeoneering DC 13:
This is a variety of a fleshwarp known as a grothlut. Fleshwarps are created through a combination of magic and alchemy, typically by drow. Grothluts were once humans, but the fleshwarping process stamped out its consciousness. Many fleshwarp creators consider grothluts a failure, while others prefer their creations to be all but mindless.

In order to feed, grothluts must regurgitate their digestive liquids upon victims. Their bodies are full of these liquids - meaning there is no practical limit to how often they can do it.

Knowledge: Dungeoneering DC 18:
When a grothlut is knocked unconscious, its internal digestive organs rupture, causing an explosion of various alchemical liquids in a large burst. Though the liquids are not harmful, the stench is truly nauseating.

Knowledge: Dungeoneering DC 23:
The moan of a grothlut causes those who hear it to be sickened. Multiple grothluts near each other can compound this effect.

Knowledge: Dungeoneering DC 28:
The process of creating a grothlut renders it immune to acid.

What a freaking awesome dwarf! Alex resist the mental assault in his mind, caused by the sound, and it awakes his from the musings about the puzzle, enough for him to dodge at least part of the gruesome part of the spilled stomachic liquid. He also loses no time to retaliate, drawing his Longsword at once and striking while screaming, mostly because of the pain the acid causes, but the result is astounding, leaving a double nasty gash on whatever that is!

Pale and feeling a little ill at the sight and smell of the foul creature, Lorenzo nevertheless recognised it. Fearful that more might be nearby or that another creature might be drawn by its droning moans, Lorenzo listened for sounds of other potential threats in the room for a moment, but decided to throw caution to the wind. Rushing past Alec and wall-running over the creature Lorenzo pirouetted impressively through the air as he pushed off the wall and struck with his mace as he landed; completely missing the creature altogether. His gymnastics were sadly let down by his utter inaccuracy.

Reflex: 1d20 ⇒ 5

Nareth intakes sharply, forcing himself to stay conscious despite the cocktail of chemicals destroying his skin. He moves to the wall for cover, then raises a glowing hand and heals himself.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Moving to E7 and casting CLW on myself.

Male Human (Varisian) Bard 1 | HP 9/9 | AC19 (T15, FF14) | CMB +1; CMD 16 | F+1, R+7, W+2 | I+5, P+4 | 2/2 Level 1 Spells Used | 5/6 BP Rounds Used, 4/50 Healstick Used

Lorenzo isn't trained in Spellcraft.

His flesh badly burnt, Lorenzo's grim determination kept him fighting. He showcased his incredible agility once again as he surged into an instant sprint, running along the wall to maneuver into position and avoid the slick substance the Drow conjured.

For all his chivalry, Lorenzo apparently had no qualms about striking the woman, recognising her as the easier target and noting her ability to fling spells. His mace struck her in the hip with a glancing strike.

Fluffing an acrobatics check to jump 15 feet as wall running. DC is 15, but upped to 25 as he doesn't have room for a running start. Then use rest of movement to reach G11 and attack.

Acrobatics (Jump) to E11: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 2 = 29

Reflex Save (If necessary): 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 2 = 13

Light Mace Attack (Defensive Fighting): 1d20 + 6 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 6 + 2 - 4 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 2 = 4

These damn 1's on the damage rolls. AC, Touch AC and CMD increased by 2 from normal due to defensive fighting.

AOO:

1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 8 - 4 = 9
1d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 2 = 6

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Acrobatics: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (5) - 2 = 3

"Was that a familiar I just .... whoa!"
Even trying to be careful, Alec loses the balance of his heavy body and falls to the ground.

If I can I'll roll to get north of the slippery area.

The female drow's face twists with rage as she points at Alec. Her voice is strained with anger.

Undercommon:
"You killed Akasha! Die!"

Spell: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

She casts another spell, and a small missile flies from her hand and slams painfully into Alec's shoulder. She smiles nastily at the dwarf and moves back into the room from whence they came. The male drow carefully withdraws away from Lorenzo and also moves into the next room.

Party's turn

Alec, you are not able to just roll out of the grease. You have to make the Acrobatics check to move.

Male Human Cleric 1 | HP 11/11 | AC 17, T 11, FF 16 | CMD 13 | Fort +4, Ref +1, Will +5 | Init +1 | Perc +3

Nareth looks down at the grease. Nope.

OP grease man. Stopping low dex warriors since forever.

Male Human Bard(Archaeologist) 1

Acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 19

Successful move to E9

Despite the tremors in his legs, Robert managed to get out on the surface of the slick floor. Surveying the situation, Robert felt he'd be best served by getting the dwarf to his feet. He bent to help the heavily armored dwarf, while still keeping his own footing.

Aid Another: 1d20 ⇒ 14

Not sure what I should be adding for this, just add whatever would be appropriate.
