"As a mother I would ask temperance but I won't restrict your creations unless I really see a need. Just think about this. With your decree you force all creatures to feel emotion and show it. They don't get a choice in being reserved or having...what is the term... a poker face. Or if a mother is angry at her child but doesn't wish to scare them and have a collected face they can not any more. I am of the type if you believe that it will cause issues, talk it over with the other gods and get their opinions. That might better help you shape what you are doing."

Shifts her weight and smiles.

"You have also forced the other gods with the way your decree is worded into doing the same. And forced creatures that do not understand to react to such things."

Gathering power into herself she takes on new domains.

He will take the insect in his hands and examine it curiously, "Interesting..." he says. He cups the creature and he will moves to the shadows and fade away into them, teleporting away to release the insect and observe it in a new habitat. To see how it adapts and evolves. He will fly about until he finds an ecosystem that is not stale. He will create one if he has to.

The insect prefers damp forests and caves and the mushroom on it back controls the bug into spreading its spores onto its young thus ensuring its survival.

There are 7 continents. One, the wild jungle continent Dragon, full of wild life and home of the Llieldasine. They are close to expansion in numbers. They will need to learn to move to other continents soon.

The Flying Isles of Auren A chain of 9 islands of varying size covered in lush, brilliantly colored vegetation plentiful in delicious vegetables, fruits and medicinal herbs that grow only on the floating islands. There are many interesting insects on the island but NO MOSKITOS CAN LIVE THERE.

Dwarven Forge is A continant under the surface inhabited by dwarves and domain of Glubokaya. Also contains the Shinoka race who is just beginning to grow. Perhaps they will meet the dwarves and they can interact.

The Cold Reaches are a series of Islands in the north, shrouded in cold. Includes the Dead Island, an island devoid of life and home of the Shadovar, an undead race of reapers.

Sectara is a continent of crystaline creatures and plants. Strange and mysterious and uninhabited by sentient races as of yet

Clareian is an orderly land that has long tracks of forest and plains, home to the Fair Folk from the lost god of Law.

HE will head to the flying isles. It is an interesting enviroment and isolated enough that he can monitor what other creatures it is interacting with.

He looks over the land finding it interesting for the moment.

Nunya sees all that happens and decides that it was time to go create some more. "I will be back Mommy. Don't worry i will be safe. It was nice to see you Sistyr, Sorella, and Schwester. Oh by the way, I am sharing the spoken language with everyone. With that she disappears and heads back to her island after creating the concept of spoken languages.

When Nunya gets back to Alphea she looks around and decides that she needs to populate. She starts to create. She smiles as she plucks the fairies wings out of the air. From the mists she commands bodies to form, and with a wave of her hand the human like creatures wings that sparkle with light. Then she sees her black weasels and places the wings in her fingers on the animal and granted it intellience.

Nunya then pulls a bit of the mist and makes a little creature from the it looks like the fairy but smaller.

"My Fairies, Pixies, and magical cretures, welcome to your home. The strongest of you will join the Order of the Winx." with that she turns around and walks back into Alphea, the mists swirling around her, changing her outfit into a light pink dress with gold trim and no shoes. Sitting on his throne deep in the heart of the Forsaken Palace, Veldrin looks out into the world, and notes the birth and rise of more and more mortal races, beyond all the animals Allianda created.

Such beings lived their lives, and of course, died. Many of their souls went to the side of their parent deity, but many more wandered the mortal world. Some tormented the living, others were hopelessly lost.

The god of Death decided something needed to be done and thus he gathered his power and carved out a new reality, one that was cut off from the rest of the cosmos and the living. For this new realm was only for the dead and was actually dangerous to those who yet breathed.

Veldrin then spoke to all the gods, informing them of his new creation "My fellow deities, I have taken note of all the restless souls that have plagued our lands and peoples. I took steps to fix this, and created a place for them to dwell. Those who have earned your favor may of course spend eternity by your side, but those who have not, or have shunned you or not chosen to venerate any of us, will find themselves consigned to my new realm, Abbadon."

Muthadh looks over the lands that he wishes to claim as his own, ”There is much to do… I must prepare myself before I can act.” He will fly to the central island, the largest of the chain, and search it for a cavern open to the surface. He will search it for a depth that reaches all the way to the isle’s heart. There he will prepare himself.

Situating himself there, he focuses his will and gathers his element to him. Using the darkness around him like a portal from which pure energy flowed forth, he gathers it within himself. To the heart of him, to the core of his very being. A new realm is created within himself. One that houses his full being and yet resides in a dimension that is separate with this one.

As he focuses his will further and continues to gather the energy, the realm grows more vast and powerful. A new energy is born, drawing in the fading and dying remnants of discharged magical energy and emanating slowly from the dark corners of the universe, ready to be harnessed by those capable of wielding it or to warp the fabric of reality around it if fed too hastily.

So great is the energy being drawn in and focused that light seems to warp and dim around the island, like a tinted bubble, churning and warping and undulating.

Allianda listened when Veldrin spoke across the multiverse and would nod to herself. The gears turning in her mind and soon she had an idea she would need to work with but it would require the Lord of Death's permission. The flow of power burst from him and all gods felt the birth of a new plane.

After all, with her touch, their son had been reborn. This was something Baxtra would take great interest in. "Baxtra my child, would you be interested in talking with Veldrin about creating the legendary concept of Rebirth with me? It will take his permission as we are taking the souls of the worthy dead and giving them new life."

Allianda concentrated and would split two shards from herself.

One went in search of her son. Searching the jungles of her continent she then went continent to continent smiling at each enjoying all the plants and animals and the delicate balance nature was able to maintain on its own. First she visited the Crystal Lands before heading to the land of rolling fields and hills. Not finding him she pushed on and saw a storm cloud on the horizon. No that wasn't right, it was a shadowy cloud that looked so different from what she was use to. Flying up she would suddenly feel the creation of another plane. Shuddering as she felt the power ripple through the universe at the creation. Moving toward the floating islands she noted the original life no able to be supported with the new environment of shadow and would make adjustments tweaking here of there. Eventually after that work was done she would stumble upon the cavern and find Muthadh concentrating in the center of the island's heart.

When he was done she spoke. "I am forming a pantheon for the mortals to follow and recognize. I would ask if you wish to join it."

Her second shard went to Veldrin's Sanctum politely knocking on the door. "Veldrin. I have started a pantheon and wished to know if you would like to join it."

"You do not need to kneel. Just will a little bit of your power to me and you will be tied into the pantheon. With the power created from other's joining there should be a seat of power that can be created from it where we chose to put it."

"Muthadh, I noticed your clouds are loosing energy. I have decided to change things up a bit and create an energy source that can spread light across the multiverse. Plus, it was time that change come once again. Do you wish to come watch." Smiling he saw her stomach swell as she glowed with light. Careful not to touch the plant life here, in case her presence disturbs Muthadh's delicate balance she headed back to the surface and waited to see if he would follow. Once he followed she would rise into the nothing and move some distance away as she started to glow brighter and brighter her stomach swelling more and more as her pregnancy progressed.

"In honor of your beautiful luminescent spheres this two shall be a sphere and its colors will change with time. Since this is its birth we shall start with white light and have it gradually go through the spectrum of color every ten cycles of seasons." She rubbed her belly happy she was getting close and she gauged the distance.

"Unlike my other creations this one will not be habitable but will be seen and enjoyed. It will supply light and warmth. With its birth I am going to alter Anya and have her rotate so one side gets no more light than another." Seems to muse on something "What do you think of the concept of Seasons. I was thinking Seven. One that is Gestation, where plants and animals produce young within themselves and in the earth. Second, is Birth. The time when the natural world starts bursting with life. Third is Growth, the time when the young get strong enough to go out and learn from their parents or for young plants to start learning how to soak up the sun. Fourth would be Celebration, a time when life is in full swing and times are good, this is when breeding and seeding for the next year is done. Fifth would be Migration, preparing for the seventh season animals migrate to better places and plant start to bear their fruit and seeds. Sixth would be Harvest. A time for sentient creatures and animals, to harvest plants and animals and for seeds to drop to the earth and dig deep, all preparing for the coming seventh season. The Seventh Season, the season of Hibernation. It is the roughest season and tests all creatures to see if they had prepared. This gives the earth time to rest and recuperate while seeds and animals get ready for Gestation and Birth. Each of these season a bit of a homage to each of the original gods. Oh, I could name them after the gods but I think my simple names will do for now. After all, the simple things get remembered most usually. A season would last....lets see...78 full rotations of the planet. Full light, twilights, and darkness. I should probably speak with the other gods that helped me birth the world. I would be effecting our creation after all.

As she floated there she started to shimmer as her form was enveloped in dazzling white light. Then the light grew brighter and brighter until it slowly faded. Floating there, for all to see was a white sphere radiating a brilliant white light. If Muthadh reaches out to touch it he will find it spongy in texture and warm to the touch. It was brilliant and hard to look at up close but if he shaded his eyes he could see the prisms of color hidden inside in layers. Almost as if it could shed a layer and in doing so would have a new color

Allianda smiled and moved from her spot next to the sun and moved to Anya. With a gentle touch she started to rotate the planet and as she did so she swept her hand over the landscape altering the plants and animals so they may adapt to the new environment that the sun now had created. Some of them became night time creatures, while other day, some twilight creatures.

The Allianda still with the Llieldasine, would watch them as they first experience sunlight and see their expressions of fear and then Joy when they felt it warm them. She let their bodies take in the energy and get stronger for it. She should thank her daughter Baxtra for such a thing and turned to see she had left so she could not. It warmed her heart as a mother to see this.

She turned back and watched them slowly adapt to this new thing. They wondered what it's name was and what to call it. Instead of telling them a name she let them hash out a name happy her creation had inspired such talks. After all creation in all its form and the inspiration of it was part of her portfolio.

They talked for months and names such as 'The Great White Orb', 'Sol', 'White Flower', 'Monstrosity', and even some very interesting combinations of vowels. None really satisfied her until she heard a young seedling of a Llieldasin called it 'Aroha'. It was the word they had given to the feeling of love. She listened as the young one explained.

"It should be called Aroha. Like our mother it is warm and not harsh. It also comes and goes, it watches over us but also leaves us to our own devices. Steady so far and we know in our hearts it will always be there. It gives comfort and reveals predators. But expects us to be able to defend ourselves when it goes away. It gives us strength that lasts through the night. I feel Aroha when I look at it. The aroha our mother gives us." The seedling stood proud as she gave this explanation and the elder Llieldasine all conferred and talked it over. It was a couple of days but the name the Llieldasine gave the sun was Aroha.

She would visit the seedling disguised as a Matron and would talk with her and tells her. "I will watch over you young seedling. You will grow to do great things. Follow your heart."

Baxtra noted the new sun and felt vaguely the emotions of all lifeforms as they saw the sun for the first time. Some feared the new orb, others rejoiced in the light. Some feared the darkness for they had now seen the predators in the twilight, others loved the night for it maximized their ability to hunt or hide.
She sent her shard out among her people and aided them in adjusting to the new conditions. She directed them to be a people of the twilight, unimpaired by the light, but unafraid of the night. She saw their joy in both the day and the night. That they rejoiced beneath both moon and sun and stars and she taught her people to sing and write lyrics. They wrote different songs for each part of the day and she taught them to organize the day around the use of song and what types of work were appropriate for each time, organizing it by song.

The light revealed the riot of color to the eyes of the Silari. She walked among them and listened to the new songs and watched their martial arts. She recognized that she had more ideas than power. She realized that the more power she assembled the higher she would rise in the hierarchy of gods. Should I concentrate on creation or advancement. And how far can I advance before I can no longer walk among my people. She went to find Allianda.

"Hi Mother, I have been thinking and am confused. I have two paths before me and both allow for my passions but I don't know which is better. Should I pursue advancement and more power or should I take the slower road of creating all my ideas and then seeking to advance? I really need more views."

She sent her shard to seek Veldrin.
"Hi Veldrin, I need some advise. Do you think I should seek to advance as a God or should I create all those things that are in my mind first? and how do I teach my people about you. Do you wish to be feared or respected?

After a time, Baxtra replied "Mother, I have been trying to think carefully and not hurriedly. The concept of rebirth would seem to me to have a few details to be hammered out. Would all souls be eligible or only a few? Would they return as the same race? Would they remember the past and be able to seek penance for past transgressions? Would they feel guilt over past errors? Would they have the same or similar form? Would they feel the same passions?

Female God Intermediate

Allianda at the Llieldasine would look up at Baxtra's return and motions for her to sit beside her overlooking a gathering of Llieldasine as they discuss the fact the Enclave has gotten big and it was time to expand into new territory and start a New Enclave. There was still much time before they Populated Dragon, her continent but she was fine with that.

"You see only two paths but I see many. You can do both at the same time. Build your passions and gain power. You will find that as you build you will be building along a theme because that passion grabs you. If it leaves you that is okay and you work on something new. But you will find while building you have built a ..... reservoir of power to build upon should you come back to it or gather it together. I myself could pool my power again and a gain more domains but I am hashing out something so that can wait. But I have made sweeping changes to the world and wish to influence and add seasons to the world. I also am going to make the concept of a calender. To track the rotations of the world and the seasons. I am making exacting measurements watching my Llieldasine work and play. Since they are the most influenced by my light."

Looks at her and smiles. "I apologize I am rambling. I say build your concepts and see if they have a natural flow that guides you to gain power. But do not go too heavy on either path. Find a nice balance. As a builder and mother I soon will be giving birth to more races and I needed the extra power with which to do it. It is the reason I gathered the power I did. But I chose to build what I wanted, not what I needed to gather power. It just tended to fit into the domains Healing and Nature so I took on those mantels. Also, I didn't make the sun out of fire because I thought you would like to make one out of fire. Maybe give this place two suns. One that rotates around the other and ignights passions.... during the season Of Celebrations maybe. And During the Hardest season, maybe I Veldrin can make a black sun that cancels out the positive energy of mine and makes the world cold."

-----

Baxtra 2

As Baxtra 2 stopped at Veldrin's Sanctum to knock on the door she saw a Shard of Allianda there waiting to be given entrance too.

"Hello. Oh and to answer your questions about Rebirth, I do not wish to make it hurriedly. It is why I asked you to come with me and to discuss it with Veldrin. He knows best how he wants to handle the souls and I thought it best to discuss it with him while we hashed it out. I was thinking true rebirth, a new life and a new chapter for their soul. No weight from their past to hold them down, no memory. And they would have a new form and a new life. That does bring up an interesting thought. The Fair Folk will need to be adopted. I was thinking of seeing if Veldrin wanted to to help use them as judges for the souls.

Female Fledgling Deity N/A

Baxtra 1

"That is an excellent idea. A smaller sphere to orbit yours. and if Veldrin agrees a third sun in a separate orbit so that mine may run free. Always closer and brighter in the season of Celebrations, but can inspire at other times as well. I think it should shed no life energy merely heat and passion. I had been thinking of a moon as well to inspire certain passions and artistry in the night. But I had two ideas for creatures to assist my people but was not sure how they should be formed. One I wanted to serve as a hunting and defense assistant but smart and playful with the ability to communicate with its own kind and those of my people with the patience to learn. The second, a powerful creature, patient and wise in the ways of travel. I want this second one to be able to transport my people anywhere the Gods have created in a reasonable but short period of time, perhaps six days at most. Yet I do not know how to form them yet. or the definition of the second creatures ability. I also am thinking of a way for my people to carry their homes with them."

Baxtra 2

"I think that best. but I wonder still if those souls that have best learned life's lessons and served us best should not be granted exemption to serve or rejoice at our side for the remainder of our existence? The fair folk indeed would serve well a judges of both the living and the dead. If Veldrin is willing to adopt them They could easily do the job in both planes. Eventually some deity will need to give laws to the living or at least to our own people not merely for society but for actions between the peoples. I do not wish to do it, perhaps Veldrin would be willing."

Female God Intermediate

Baxtra 1

"It would be interesting to see all the gods create a sun and pick a season to influence. I would think Veldrin's would be a cold sun but I could be wrong."

She motions to the hound standing beside Baxtra. The one she had created for her. "Do they not work? They are your's to do with what you want. You can make them intelligent if you want."

She thinks on the second. "Why only six days. Isn't that taking the joy out of discovery and travel if they race everywhere? My planet I would consider very large (Jupiter size). It shouldn't be marginalized as just land to cover in great speed. But if you continue with that I would say flight is your best bet. It would have to be something quite significant to fly such great distances in so little time and be able to carry such weights."
-------------------------------------

Baxtra and Veldrin

Allianda looks at the door of Veldrin's sanctum and knocks louder this time. Maybe he was sleeping, or thinking really hard.

"I am not saying those that have served us must leave our side or anything like that. You never know, some souls may want to go live again on their own prerogative. Anyways, if Veldrin doesn't claim them then I will adopt them into my own set of Oath Taker's. Will have to think on that one. There is no need to lay down laws for interactions. Doing so stiffles the races. As it is right now no race has met another. All are on their own islands and areas. I will be changing that soon. I will give birth to multiple races that will stretch from continent to continent. While your race is travelers and have the ability to glide. They have not traveled much yet but they are a young race."

BY the way you are free to write things on your races actions and the like here. That is a huge part of the story.

Female Fledgling Deity N/A

Baxtra 1
" I had not considered exploration or the joy thereof but only the ability of my people to cross the land at need and the sea as they chose. I also wanted these creature to be able to take them through the other planes we might create. Perhaps the children of Dineros could serve my people as assistants and defenders?"[ooc]Is the cost to modify Dineros the same as to build the normal race?[ooc]

Baxtra 2
"I have been watching my people and they are beginning to feel the wanderlust but few of them so far are willing to travel beyond the horizon or over the sea. I have a few things more to inspire them to before I kick them from the nest but I have hope they will do so of their own accord. They have learned much from the valley. Much about your creations and much about themselves. But there are still a few things I want them to learn. Are your people all you hoped they would be?" She swayed back and forth as they waited for the Lord of the Dead. Her mind raced with concepts and ideas and she was keenly aware that she was a limited being. Her people were getting closer and closer to moving out of the valley of their creation. She only had a few things to teach them before they moved out and scattered.

Female God Intermediate

Baxtra 1

"Take this advice from a mother. If you give your children everything they need and they do not grow on their own. They will grow weak and expect everything to be handed to them. Now this isn't true of all children but I have seen it happen a lot."[b] She motions her to follow her disguising themselves invisibly. She would walk through her own people and motions to a Llieldasine languishing while others worked the forest to gather food and build their shelter's for a coming storm. [b]"A child of a matron. Her mother had spoiled her so she has never really had to work a day in her life. She was always taken from place to place and didn't have to do much."

"Now, her muscles are weaker and she has never had to put much thought into things." They watch as others complete their tasks and move off happily to do other things giving the Llieldasine a bit of a wide berth.

"Because of her attitude of things should be handed to her, she is not well liked and for that it will eventually be her undoing. She had the potential to be a great leader but has squandered it for luxuries."

She would point out predators in the shadow. "Llieldasine are extremely vulnerable to predators because of their scent and wonderful taste. Also, since they forsake fire for it hurts them so much they do not often scare off predators."

The predator's soon come up stalking the llieldasine who seems not to notice. She is attacked, her arm bitten as she is attacked and barely dodges a second going for her neck. A few more harrowing movements and bites and it looks like it is almost over when the ground erupts and swallows the creatures whole as a second Llieldasine comes into view a twisted mask of rage on her beautiful face. The earth turns to acid eating at the predators as they try to claw their way out and the four armed matron picks up her daughter who was hanging on the edge of life.

Allianda swallows hard as every instinct in her had told her to step in. The matron would heal her daughter enough to get her to the healers where the specialists could take care of her.

"You must chose carefully about giving your children something that makes things so easy for them to travel. They won't learn the hardships of travel. Nor all the wonderful creatures they can tame and learn to control on their own. They already have the best. What is the point of taming anything else." She smiles. "I think your ideas are wonderful actually. I just want to caution you a little in giving your children to much." She smiles and kisses Baxtra's cheek.

Are the Dineros what you named the hounds I gave you? The animal? If you are giving them more intelligence to make them a sentient creature then you will pay the cost difference. And are the Silari in the Llieldasine area? I thought they were on your islands. By the way an Enclave is not a valley. Its usually a WELL guarded secret of the race. Though they can be encountered out in the jungles that cover a lot of the continent Dragon. Think of Dragon as a huge Overgrown area. Everything is bigger and larger than life in many respects. You didn't write any interactions or statements they had met my race yet so don't know how they can learn from them. Plus, whole language barrier thing.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Baxtra 2

"My children are more than I ever hoped for. They give me headaches and they give me love. A mother loves all her children equally even if she favors others." Looks at her and smiles. "I must be willing to sit back and let them be themselves sometimes."

Female Fledgling Deity N/A

The valley is an area on the largest of of my islands (a little larger than Oahu). At this point most Silari do not know they are on an island. some have ventured out of the valley and they can see Dragon on the horizon from the ridge tops. They cannot yet learn from your race but I can. but I don't want to impair them or step on your toes. The Dineros are the creatures you gave me and before I release them into the world I will pay the points to upgrade them. That will make them dangerous to my people if mistreated but useful to me in many ways.
Baxtra 1
I will have to think on this as my people are far more warlike than yours but even that will not prevent favoritism from arising. The Allianda floating above the world would look at her baby the sun. Sometimes babies didn't wait and this one had been eager to be born so she hadn't waited on her son to follow.

He was busy anyways working on his own projects. It was probably best to leave him be and let him finish. At least this way there was a sun to help him.

Floating back to the sun she would touch its spongy texture and strokes it instilling positive energy in it.

The seasons would be born from the waxing and waning of energy in the moon. Cycles creatures would feel subtly and it would influence Anya's plant and animal life. If the other's decided to make suns to help influence the seasons then it would make things even more dynamic but that was their choice. Nature would eventually find a balance.

Taking a deep breath she would float there just watching for a long while.

"Yeah, but have you taught them war yet? Or are they just aggressive? War...is not something as a mother I want. But, that being said it is unfortunately a good population control." Sighs softly as they watch the one that was injured be healed but some of the damage was permanently scaring.

She would watch her mope and recover and her mother's strain at the dueling guilt and anger at what had happened. Moving forward, invisible to them she would touch the one who was injured. As they recovered their eyes falling upon things and their thoughts going into wondering why things grew with careful cultivation. Months passed as she watched the sun and the moon's. Noting the subtle changes.

In the Matron she would insert the thoughts of none magical healing and developing that.

Eventually the child would recover and in her weakened state would start experimenting with how cultivation works and failing miserably to start, having no practical experience. Just as she was about to give up she developed a hard core and buckled down to keep trying.

At this point Allianda smiled and winked at Baxtra. "Children can learn though." She would become visable and approaches the girl as a Llieldasine plants growing where she slithered. Seeing her the girl went to pay homage and Allianda stopped her.

"What are you trying to do?"

"Grow things. I am to weak to gather things and I don't want my mother to always provide for me." She admits squirming under her stare.

"Show me what you have figured out." She would sit with the girl giving gentle advice and helps her plant her first crop as the season of gestation started. "Teach your people what you have learned. It will help your people."

She nods taking things to heart and would do so spreading farming and cultivation to her people. It took a couple of years for it to catch on but eventually it did.

The Matron on the other hand, had thrown herself into the process of learning none magical healing and first aid. It only took some mental guidance and she would eventually teach her people the concept of medicines and its uses expanding on their already robust healing magic.

Allianda again went invisible and moved to Baxtra. "The meeting of our races should be interesting. I also wasn't saying to stifle their curiosity. Just don't make it so easy to satisfy. If they work for it, it will be more rewarding for them."

Veldrin and Baxtra

She would again knock wondering if Veldrin was even in.

Muthadh flexes in the warm glow of the new sun. Parts of him wither in the positive energy's embrace while other parts grow stronger. The mixture of both of his parent's energies within him clash in the sun's glow. He summons a cloak of shadow - his form becoming dimmer than before. Despite the harmful nature of the glow, he still smiles at his mother's creation. He will grow a fist sized spore pod in his hand. Enveloping it in shadow and imbuing it with his shadowstuff, he takes aim and launches it into the sky at his mother. Then turning back to work on his plan.

He flies under the largest and most central of the Islands and looks at the slumbering Continent Clouds. As they are now, they are not useful to his plan of transformation. He will focus his energy and infect the continent cloud with a slow acting but contagious curse that will slowly warp their being using shadow magic.

The continent cloud begins to fall lower as its energy is sapped by the curse, the first time that one of the isles ever dipped below its incredibly high perch in the sky. As the curse ran its course, the cloud is spasming with electrical energy. Electrical arcs sometimes shock neighbor clouds, spreading the curse to them. Over the course of months or even years, the curse will eventually spread through out the isles.

The spore traveling at break neck speeds and protected by its shadowy shroud, will quickly reach Alliandra before exploding in a dark riot of energy. The spore will burst and release not a weapon but a message that speaks to the Great Mother,"Mother, your creation is beautiful. I love its radiance and color. It's warmth is wonderful. "Farewell for a time, Mother. I have thought much and listened well to the advice you have given me. I must now get back to work on my creation and advance my agenda on the world." She walked to her islands contemplating all she had heard. Taking her faithful hound by the ears she created more of his race and made them intelligent. She placed them around her island and asked them to take care of her people, but never at the expense of their own dignity. This would help the to work together as partners and not as a master/slave relationship. Glubokaya Gora looked around his Forge, contemplating the layout of things. A mere cave, not what he would consider fitting for a god, even one of his lower status. And those of his creation deserved better than mere caves. He looked over at his tools and found a few pieces of coal and began to draw along the stone. Numbers and figures spilled from his mind as a thought for how he would alter the spaces around him. His concepts of how to secure the heights of his Forge and of other spaces began to spill forth from his mind. He stepped back looking again at the space. How would the work be done for such vast changes.

Suddenly, in his minds eye, he could see the structures and machines needed to make this all happen. Turning to his Forge, he worked the metal at hand and tools were shaped to work the stone. As the tools were finished, he went to his drawings and began to shape the structures he saw in his mind. Carving away at the rock around him, slowly the shapes in his mind began to form on the walls of his Forge. Cave openings became masterfully carved archways. Walls transformed from rough stone to smoothed surfaces.

As his work moved from the ground to the ceiling of his Forge, he crafted scaffolding to elevate him along the walls. The work he did gained intricate designs. Faces appearing in the work, as well as shapes of His people toiling at their Forges. His people carving their way through the rocks. His people creating art from the stone as he was doing now.

In the Mountain caves of the Dwarven halls, among the many Dwarves within, the concepts their Father had begun to feverishly work at began to bloom in their minds. From one to another until many had the concepts. Maths, Engineering, Architecture, and the art of sculpture. Within their halls, the toils began.

As he left his curse to do its work, he looked up to the heavens. His mother had created a great wonder but the positive energy flowing from it was great even if its effects were small. He felt much of its energy was being wasted but he knew that if he could collect it, then he could recycle it. He thought long and hard about it. A moon was big and massive and would make a large pot to collect the energy but like holding a pot to a waterfall, you are not going to get everything and you are more likely to drop the pot before it’s full. Another giant star perhaps? This one as large as or larger than its bright sister but much dimmer, like a dark twin gobbling up all of its sibling’s energy. That would work but if it was too powerful, it would completely negate his mother’s creation and he would not have that. Perhaps smaller… and more spread out. Like a giant net spread out in all directions. That could work and it would be relatively weaker spread out than if it were clumped together.

He conjured a globe of shadowstuff and manipulated it into a facsimile of the planet, its moons and its star. He played around with some ideas but eventually settled on one. He would deposit a few giant spores into the void. Their sole job being to absorb energy. Not just from the radiation of the star but any other radiation or even matter that strayed close enough and transporting it to the Nexus of Shadow where it can be transmuted into shadowstuff. As he placed them there in his little model, he focused his power to create them in the void above. Dark spheroids that loomed over all with a dim shadowy glow when compared to the total darkness around them. Then as they absorbed energy, they began to glow brighter as the energy glowed brightest as it was concentrated around the dark spores. He was pleased with how they worked. He could already feel the Nexus growing with waste energy, ready to be transmuted.

Looking at it though, he realized that a few spores was too little. The net was big enough, it certainly covered the entire sky but the threads were too far spread. He needed the net to be much tighter. He poked his dark orbs and they exploded with shadow energy, spreading out in all directions before coalescing into much smaller spheres – like little pinpoints in the sky. The first few yielded dozens. Then thousands, then finally tens of thousands could be seen in the sky. Each one twinkling with the riotous energy that they were collecting and transporting into the Nexus. The random explosions sent the balls of darkness scattering into random patterns. His original and logical pattern made to be as efficient as possible was now a great but beautiful mess. Only two of the original spores remained. The largest by far, these sparkled like great jewels. Portals so large that each could swallow the planet whole and send it screaming into the Nexus of Shadow. Those he moved furthest away to protect the others but not so far that he could not then secure them as the link between all others that would revolve around it. As the pinpoints in the sky moved slowly over the years, they would alone be the one points that remained stationary. At least until necessity decreed they should move as well.

action:
Create celestial body: stars 3 AP

These stars are made entirely of Shadowstuff. As I mentioned in the description of the Nexus of Shadow, Shadowstuff is a type of magical pseudo-matter that has no weight in gravity wells but attracts things to it when outside of them. Like a weightless magnet if you will. It is this property he is taking advantage of but using it to attract the waste energy that I mentioned is what shadowstuff is primarily made of.

They are about as large as an asteroid but their attractive force is great enough to collect energy and matter in a vast distance. That is why they are visible as twinkling lights. That is why they are visible at all! Of course they are the brightest where there are no competing light sources in the sky. A bright moon is enough to obscure many of the stars around it while the sun makes them completely fade away from sight. They basically act as stars do in our own night sky. The one exception is actually two. The two stars that are the largest are far enough away that their light is only slightly greater than the others. These stars are planet sized (but of course are merely portals – trying to stand on one merely transports you to the Nexus of Shadow along with all of the energy it was sucking up at the time; you are afforded no protections from that energy) and large enough that on completely dark nights (no bright moons) that you can actually see the soft dim glowing centers with the aid of a tool like a telescope or even a simple spyglass.

Like the Nexus of Shadow, the positioning of these stars is like being positioned on the inside of a sphere. Looking out you can see them encompassing the entire sky, curving gently inward they appear to be equally distant in all directions though their actual positions are indeed random and can be further or closer. Like a slowly rotating disco ball, the stars will revolve around the current center of this universe. However, since we are not entirely sure if gravity is a thing here OR that Anya is the center of it (or even Aroha), these stars revolve around the two large pairs. They are static but linked to the others, their gentle spin gives the others motion.

The giant stars are fixed at exactly the north and south poles of Aroha (the sun) since the original intent of the stars was to act as a kind of net for the energy Aroha produced. As such, anyone can use the north and south stars to find their relative position but if you were to go to the actual poles of the planet, you would find the position of the stars is slightly offset by barely a few degrees.

Should Aroha ever be destroyed or completely obscured, and the energy it produces be cut off, the stars will no longer collect energy and they will dim noticeably but they will still give off faint light since shadowstuff gives off light in total darkness.

As she walked among her people, she began to encourage them to form twenty-four large tribes of mixed families and how to interact with each other. She encouraged competition between the tribes but taught them to settle it with combat between the martial artists of each tribe. She taught them the value of getting a good exchange for their goods, but encouraged generosity within the tribe. She showed sixteen of them the ways out of the valley, three to the shore, five into the mountains, six into each of the adjacent valleys, and two into the caves beneath the earth. She watched as these explored the new terrain and spread word to their tribes. However one tribe she encouraged to stay in the place of birth so that the wandering tribes would have a place of return and refuge. The remaining seven tribes were left with no guidance so she could see what they chose.

Female Fledgling Deity N/A

Baxtra halts her retreat and turns. "Oh Cool. So all the haunters are gone from the world? won't that make certain areas boring? Anyway, we came to discuss the idea of Rebirth. I thought maybe that could be related to the souls desires and passions. As an example a Soul that died in terror or fear would carry negative feelings into the afterlife and might want more time away from the world; whereas one that died happy or in ecstasy might desire to return almost immediately. Do you think it is a good idea and should we do it? Or should we merely let them rest in Abbadon or at our side?" She sways while waiting for some input.

Allianda smiled at her exuberance and waited for her to finish. "Also, there is more to it. Reincarnation was more my aim. A new life for the immortal souls. I understand resurrection would require your say with the cosmic decree. The souls would not remember their time in Abbadon nor by our sides while mortal." She paused to see his initial reaction. There was more to discuss but this was first.

Veldrin causes a great black throne to rise from the ground, right underneath him. He is thus several inches above the ladies as they speak. "So you wish loop holes in my decree, but why? And how would you limit this? Were I to agree to this, it could not be that any and every soul can return to life, even via reincarnation, as that would defeat the purpose of my declaration." Its obvious he is not all that happy with this idea, but might be swayed.

Female God Intermediate

Allianda smile. "Your decree did say with your blessing. Hence, why were wanted to talk to you about it. I am not thinking that every soul would be reincarnated. Though, it does mean Abbadon will get full eventually if only new souls are born. Since souls are immortal they only get one chance at life currently. I was thinking about those souls most worthy of our attention. Hero's and Legend's. The ability for them to come back to life and be reincarnated should the need be there."

"I am not against death, for it gives room for more life. I just think rebirth should be available to the worthy. After all, technically rebirth has already happened. You have a son now Veldrin. With your decree he died and as I was walking across the graves of the Llieldasine mourning their loss when one, a strong soul, was effected by my life energies and gained a new life as a god. He takes after you." Allianda said softly.

"It is actually brought up the thought in my head." She shifted her weight smiling as he sat above them looking down on them.

"Immortal souls will grow weary of their time in Abbadon eventually. Some that are by the sides of their gods may also. If those souls prove truly worthy I would advocate their god could come to you and ask for them to be reborn. You could even ask payment for such a service since it is your decree. It makes the gods hesitate and chose wisely. For those in Abbadon, I am sure you would be best suited to judge. But eventually that would be many. Which brings up my second idea. The Fair Folk, created by Mekkar and oath takers of the world. I was going to suggest you adopt them and allow them to serve as your judges in the afterlife. Since you have your Reapers in the Shadovar. They could be your judges and help take the work load off of you."

Female Fledgling Deity N/A

"They could definitely help decide who could be eligible for rebirth. Maybe even serve to meet out proper correction to souls but that would be up to you. I'd do it but I'm not in charge of the dead." She looks at the Lord of the dead steadily as if to fathom his soul, then giggles and winks. "I'm going to gather some of mine at my stronghold so we can party."

Allianda, who had spent so much time and effort on magical concepts and birth's decide it was time to take on the Mantel of Magic. Wrapping magic around her until it infused her very being and she herself became a source.

The Allianda by the sun looked around at the sky noticing the glittering lights and smiled having even more thoughts and interests light upon her mind. Then her focus turned to her lonely green moon. It was unfinished and she would have to see about that. She had been hesitant to finish it at first. But now she saw a need. There were still more animals and monstrous things she needed to give birth too. But the races of the world would find the presence of such creatures endangering every aspect of their life. This would be a moon of truly monstrous creatures.

The Allianda by the sun moved over to the moon reaching into its core making it denser and gravity on it much heavier than that of Anya. The core of the world was a dense molten metal that shone a dark purple color. Around that she built up veins of mineral rich earth full of metals and other rich veins of gems and rare unseen treasures. This was all built within the dense earth. Verdant soil, far richer than that of Anya, covered the surface as she developed its atmosphere. Once that was set the first of the plants and animals were born. All dire animals, plants, dinosaurs, and even magical beasts were started here, more aggressive and dangerous than those seen before. Regular creatures would find themselves prey should they come here. Everything grew bigger here and stronger. Trees towered hundreds of feet into the air as they grew over thousands of years. Insects the sizes of dogs were common. For a small moon it had large life. All life fighting against the heavy gravity of the world and because of this, the muscles and structure of everything’s form was designed to handle it. Everything was much slower in growing on the moon. The land masses were all continually connected, the largest bodies of water not visible to the naked eye to those on Anya. Mostly rivers and small lakes existed on this moon, no major oceans or seas to cross. Because of this, water was a commodity that was highly valued and alternate methods of getting it would have to be developed.

This was wild primordial world full of danger and life. Here she would put her aggressive and dangerous creations that she gave birth too. More thoughts entered her head as she reached into the core of the world again, this time infusing it with powerful magic. A raw mixture of Divine and Nature based magic’s giving the metal a type of life on its own. Some of it pushed through the rock and soil as it started to churn becoming a multi-hued metal. A fissure, no bigger than the tip of a needle, started to form as it worked its way up towards the surface. Allianda smiled at her new creation and wondered what she would call it.

Iridesium, for its iridescent, clear sheen, was a living metal that was completely natural and grew on its own, fluid when it wanted to be and when properly worked could be forged into powerful things. The only thing was, once removed from its connection to the source of Iridesium, it would slowly harden into nuggets and ores that looked like iridescent glass. When re-forged, needing heat well in excess of what any other metal would take (even adamantine), it could be used for magical weapons and armor that glimmered in the light. Though transparent there was enough color and sheen you could notice the intricate work and colors flooding through it. Far from fragile, it rivaled adamantine for density and hardness.

This metal is an amalgamation of Iridium, Osmium, magic, and adamantine. First two being actual elements. Also while touching the source it is like syrup and mercury.

Once this was done she gathered up some of the glass metal and would head to find Glubokaya. As a master forger, she believed he would enjoy this metal. Heading underground with her treasures in tow she would knock on his door loving the changes she had seen on her way in. Excitement filled her as she wondered if it would inspire him to make things.

------------------------

As the Allianda at the Enclave, she sat there she started marking the passages of the bright lights, the rotations of the celestial bodies the image of a matron learning the passing of time and studying the effects of the bodies on the world. She listened as her Lieldasine discovered the tides that had come to be with the Gardening Moon’s sudden growth and darker color. It would a need a new more formal name now.

Baxtra 1 (on her island) focused her will upon the sky and walked to the sun she carefully gathered fire and emotion together; wrapping a sheath of emotion around a heart of pure flame to form her new sun. Smaller than Allianda's construct but a brilliant coruscating golden color. This body orbited in an elliptic orbit and like Anya it spun, but two and a half times per rotation of Anya. It shed heat, light (limited), and passion on those who observed it. Because of its elliptic it was often lost in the greater mass and brightness of Aroha. The Silari named it Fari'akos, the rage bringer, the Sun that brings storms, because in the moth that it was most visible thunderstorms and strong winds would sweep the islands (and the rest of Anya, unless the gods protect their lands).
Descending back to her islands she gathered some of the female Silari and taught them how to dig pits and devise triggers to release logs and rocks. She taught them how to disguise these items and how to combine them with toxic and caustic substances. She taught them how to prepare liquid fire and ignite it remotely and how to prevent the fire from easily spreading in the wrong directions. She watched as they created other uses for these teachings. This brought joy to her heart.
She watched as each of the undirected tribes chose a way to go. One chose to remain in the home valley, and these Baxtra instructed in the way to defend the valley with traps and watchers. Two more descended into the depth of the underground caverns, so she taught them to hunt cave creatures with fire traps and close combat weapons. Three went to the shore and these she taught how to use snares and nets. One each went to the adjacent valleys and carried their knowledge of basic traps with them.

Muthadh looks up to the sky through the shadowy continent shades. With all of the extra light being given to this world, the shades were growing quickly as they absorbed their multiple energies to fuel itself... consequently, the life on the islands was growing quickly as well. He expected it to take much longer to fully terraform the lands than it is doing on its own thanks to the multiple celestial objects in the heavens, all affecting Anya in their own ways.

The Wisps have been troubled by this change in events... the air is... thicker now. Flying about is not as easy as it once was... and they get weird spore gunk stuck in their gas bodies! Eww! They migrate quickly to the Isles that have yet to be affected by the shades... but they cant run forever. When finally all of the Islands are under his sway, he releases another curse, this time on the Wisps. They would shudder as they are given a more definite form. Bodies complete with physical systems and physical needs for those systems.

This resulted in alot of chaos among the newly created Wispi... they were confused... some scared and others angry... they needed direction and in response, Muthadh gave them guidance... he gives them a blessing. He guides them with bright stars to the central places of each island. There to discover tablets made of dark stone that emit a soft glow in the darkness or dim it in greater light but shaped as if grown from the soil like trees. These tablets contain the knowledge that they needed to kick start their new lives... basic knowledge on how to survive, on how to build homes and tools, on how to secure a better future... all while leaving out morals, emotions, culture, and politics... leaving all of that for them to decide on their own.

Muthadh watched his children grow and evolve. They were surviving in this world and starting to understand it. Hardly a full society, they were a group of separate tribes called “Drifts” made up of a family or two of Wispi nomads, always moving from place to place… He wished to allow them to specialized even more. To the best of the hunter-gatherers, he gave them the knowledge needed to master their enviroments. To the wander-lusting socialities he gave the confidence to span out across the world, following the bring Sparks in the sky to other lands in search of trade and new cultures. To the wisest, he gave the greatest duty; to keep and preserve the histories of their people, from now to forever more.

He had more knowledge to give but he felt the time for hard evolution was at hand. They no longer could simply inherit their gifts. They had to earn them. So he watched, from the shadows as always, in search of those with strong enough will and wisdom to snatch up their power.

The lorekeeprs are the specific members of any particular Drift (tribe). These specific individuals keep the lore of the Trees of Knowledge but also keep the knowledge of their specific Drift, their specific migration route, their specific region, and finally their specific island. Though Drifts may be unfriendly or even at war with each other. ALL Lorekeepers go to the same places to learn their skills. They travel from tree of knowledge to tree of knowledge for years – all the while learning their own histories along with those of their kin-drifts. Once they have gone through no less than a decade of learning and traveling, they return to their respective drift to apprentice under the drift’s lorekeeper before eventually succeeding them. The lorekeeper’s association is run by impartial lore masters who live within permanent Wispi settlements. These old and learned folk do not affiliate themselves with ANY drift and keep themselves as unbiased as possible from drift affairs. Unfortunately, this means that despite being a neutral party, they rarely act as mediators or peace keepers and instead let the drifts handle their own problems.

Lorekeepers are masters at this fine art and it is no surprise that the most creative uses of this architectural design can be found among their schools.

Create Advanced Concept: Train Monsters:
Monsters like Faolchu are dangerous and to the denizens of the Isles of Auren, all creatures are predators and prey of one another. Knowing this, Wispi also know that everything is connected. Everything depends on each other. As such they have learned to appreciate and take advantage of this close connection and train local monsters for their needs. The most mundane use of this concept is simply in herding, breeding, and harvesting monsters for their resources, but where this concept gains tactical significance is when they are used for war. Faolchu are the local favorites in terms of beast companionship but the Wispi’s skill in training monsters does not stop with them… though their preferences often do.
2 AP

create advanced concept: Harvest Shadowstuff:
Similar to harvesting mana crystals from ley lines or some similar magical resource, Shadowstuff can be harvested from places properly warped by shadow energy. Shadowstuff is a vital component - you cannot cast shadow magic without it. It can also be used to create semi-magical objects with physics breaking properties. Weapons and armor can be made from the stuff giving them the ability to punch through most non-magical armors and resist damage from non-magical weapons and tools. However, its dark nature means that it corrodes quickly when kept in brightly lit areas. That combined with how long it takes for shadow infused fungi to grow means that shadowstuff is a fairly precious commodity among the Wispi who both bless and curse the magical resource.
2 AP

Create advanced concept: Shadowstuff Wagons:
These wagons have a bottom lined with gravity repellent shadowstuff. This lets Wispi pack their things onto carts which they can then glide over the rough terrain of the isle's. They are not true flyers for a few reasons. They have no propellant. Thus they have to be pulled by beasts of burden. The only beasts that the Wispi have ever been able to domesticate are the Faolchu and being land based, they cannot pull a flying wagon. The second reason is because, for the exception of underground routes and the Isles of Auren, most overland routes have at least half the day in some form of bright lighting. This degrades the shadowstuff under the wagons. This is not a good thing, so the wagons often have a skirt that keeps the underside dark but forces the wagons to remain low on the ground. The limit to how much the wagons can carry is up to the construction of the wagon itself and how much the Faolchu can move. Even if gravity is nullified, mass is still an issue, which means so is inertia.

create mundane concept: Scavenge:
The race is able to scavenge equipment and food from other creatures and make use of it. Unless they understand how the equipment works, they can only use it in the most basic ways. While nearly all races loot what treasures they can, scavenging is a state of mind where all junk is treasure. Scavenger races often wear mismatched clothing, armors, and other equipment while selling whatever excesses they have. A looter cares about what is the most valuable to return the most amount of worth with the least amount of effort. An example would be during the time of the plague, the goods from the deceased were often rounded up and sold again as second hand items, making owning a sword far more affordable. However, scavengers take it to a different extreme. Everything is of value and if someone doesn’t own it, they will take it. If they cannot use it immediately, they might hang on to it for a while. They are not hoarders, they are compulsive junkyard dealers.

In addition to all of the above, I am sorta retroactively taking Magical Concept Illusion (shadow) and giving it to the Wispi since the Wisps and Continent Clouds had it already. With all of those other costs, it should total 17 AP which should bring me to either 0 or 1 depending on how many people we have in the pantheon.

Glubokaya Gora moved from his Forge as he felt the approach of another in his territory. "Who enters my Domain?" As he opened the stone doorway to the Forge, he saw Allianda. It appeared that she had brought something with her. "Do come in. So, tell me what it is you have brought me? I hope you like what I have created. I felt that the walls were to... bare. Now, the Dwarven history will be forever scrawled upon my walls as well as theirs."

Allianda smiled brightly. "I love it actually." Her voice was bright and cheerful and he watched her look at everything as she carried a box made out of living wood. He could see it trying to grow even more in her hands. She set it down and grinned at him.

"I made this when finishing my moon. I also made a sun too." She said as she opened the box revealing what looked like glass chunks inside of it. "This is Iridesium. Try breaking it with a normal hammer."

"All people need a place to relax and think. I need a place to test my concepts and for my people to gain power. So I will craft the Dream and allow access to all people while they sleep but only their minds will enter forming bodies on the plane to conform to their ideas and concepts." gathering energy and strength from the world around she split off a plane and placed it adjacent to the material plane and touching all areas of Anya, allowing all sentient beings access. "There that's done"

She took consorts in each of the tribes and bore children learning to be a mother and also to impart her divine essence into those bloodlines for later use. She watched for the blood moon to rise over her islands and she had already warned the other mothers to hide from the moon and seal the cave until it had passed. Two tribes did not heed her warning (she has yet to reveal to her people that she is divine) and they stayed on the surface, as did many of the hunters from the shore tribes.

She split the Dineros Minor into two groups. One group she sent back into the wilds with a warning about the upcoming event without being explicit. The other group she directed to the shelters to guard the mothers and children. She called the Dineros Major to her and she sent half of them away with a warning about the moon. The other half she began teaching about the new plane.

GM'S Fun:

1d6 ⇒ 4

The red moon shifted closer and closer to the planet Anya, its glow growing brighter and bright until the full Blood Moon shone even in the light of day. The Silari along the shores were the first to notice the water turning red in the glow. Hours went by before nightfall and the sky was alight with the red moon.

From the ocean they came. At first, there was silence, then a haunting song echoed along the shores. Wailing cries that started to infect the mind with sorrow and sadness. The next instant ecstasy and elation. Next came the creatures out of the oceans.

Twisted abominations of what looked like squid and whales. Gigantic creatures that were hungry. Their targets were anything that stood in their way but when they first caught the Silari a rallying song filtered over the island, a maddening cacophony, and they converged intent on finding their meals here. Even the Dineros weren't safe. As soon as one was eaten they turned on them both.

This will be a 10 "round" battle. Roll 1d10 plus the bonus from what concepts you have given them. The bonus will cap at +15. Both of your races will be attacked. (Since they work together)

Attack: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Female Fledgling Deity N/A

The Silari and Dineros rally to defend the islands. The Silari
set spring and snare traps to damage the enemies. The Dineros attack in packs using hit-and-run attacks when the Moon-struck are slowed by traps.

defense: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 (+3 for legendary, +1 for martial arts, +1 for trap building)

Female Fledgling Deity N/A

The Silari weapons teams counterattack the Moon-struck with harpoons and spears. The Dineros attackers hit their flanks and do hamstringing attacks to prevent movement.

attack: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 (+3 legendary, +1 for martial arts, +1 for weapon making)

Attack: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 Forgot their magical bonus last time

The Moonstruck gather more and more individuals to them calling out even as they were torn apart. Writhing masses of tenticals and heavy flesh continued to come seeming in overwhelming numbers but they were falling faster than they were coming.

That is when they spotted the water writhing and bubbling as something else rose. Monstrous legs and a long serpentine neck topped with many heads. It had massive fins/wings as it started spraying acid from its mouths.

Attack: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
