I have noticed that there are a lot of PFS First Steps PBP sessions out there. This is great, but not helpful for anyone with a character above level 1. I am interested in GMing a PFS PBP game with characters in the Level 3-5 range. I currently own The Dalsine Affair for Levels 3-4, and The Frostfur Captives for Levels 4-5, but I can purchase a different scenario if your character has already played these.

To be clear, this is not something you can just create a character for. You need to have an already established Pathfinder Society character in the level range that you would be interested in committing to a PBP. If you are such a player, please post here and if we get a full table we can decide on the scenario to run.

Do i have to have a character already made or can i make a new one?

The only way to make a new character would be if you have enough GM credit in Pathfinder Society to get your character up to the appropriate level. So that would be 6 or 9 GM Chronicle sheets that have not already been applied. I didn’t mention it in the first post because I thought that instance would be rare.

I suppose you could play one of the Iconic Pregenerated characters, but I don’t consider that to be nearly as fun as playing my own character.

I'd be up to play but I've already played most of the stuff in that range.

It'd have to be one of the newer scenarios.

I haven't played any on the list Feral has posted or the list that you have.

Feral, can I assume your character is level 4 or 5?

Posting to express interest. I believe I have a rogue and a cleric at levels 4 and 3 respectively. Will have to check up on that when I get home from work today, but count me in for everything on Feral's list but God Markets Gamble.

Can I hear a little more about guidelines for this table, Mr GM? Also this would be my first PBP so any info would be helpful.

OK, definitely will be bringing my Cleric of Erastil and his animal companion, Freya to this mission then.

@GSV, Drow? Do you have some special boon that allows you to play a Drow? I didn’t think they were society legal yet, so I would be a little surprised by this. You do understand that this is a Pathfinder Society game, right? With all of the rules and restrictions that come with that.

There are no boons to allow Drow in PFS.

GSV, I don’t see a PFS character in your profile that fits the level requirement. You can’t create a new character for this. Please correct me if I’m wrong, otherwise I am going to assume there was a misunderstanding and move on without you. Sorry about that.

Okay, now that I am home and have my sheets in front of me. I have both a rogue and a cleric that are 1 xp shy of 4th level. I am going to guess I am the rogue mentioned above, and am alright playing up. Just wanted to verify that I am in before I begin transferring everything from my sheet to the site.

This scenario has a high lethality. Playing up might be a serious challenge for your 3rd levels. Just an FYI.

Conveniently there is actually a game day about an hour from here. May take the drive to get that experience on my rogue. Waiting for confirmation from Brute Squad though.

Sethious, You may play up if you like, or go get the XP you need this weekend. Either way is fine with me. I might recommend that you go get the one XP for level 4, given sveden’s comment, but it’s your character. Whatever you are comfortable with.

I have a 2nd level character and would love to see a non-First Steps PbP opportunity. However it looks like you're running 4-5...so I'll simply applauded your effort and cheer your players on!

Dangit! I'd love to get in on this, but I've got an issue finding modules I haven't either played or DMed. GM Brute Squad, private message me on the next one and I'm in. My PFS # is 1824, and I've got an array of available characters.

I've got a level 4 rogue and I've played the Dalsine Affair on my rogue.
