Definitely was worried after the bugs hit Kragg 3 times after the 2 fireballs. Next time not listening to a hobbit's advice and have all of us bunched in fireball formation. Rookie mistake. He knew that was a possibility too. If we Didn't need a paladin in town I'd fry his arese right now.

If I may digress a bit from the dwarf superiority thread, I just ran my first official pathfinder event, Dawn of the Scarlet Sun. Must've done something right, because they (two newbies and 2 or 3 exp rpgers) want first dibs on the campaign that they are pressuring me to start. YAY Me! OK enough gratuitus backslapping.
In line with the dwarven thread, the pregen dwarven PC (played by a hardcore Dwarf-only player who would fit just fine in here) managed to start a combat with a sniped crit and failed save that left the antagonist shaken(-2 attack/saves) until almost death. Saved the party from a lot of damage. He was right proud of that!
We now return you to the original purpose of thread.

I think you are confusing flexible ethics with evil tendencies. Every military/prison/gang/clique has a self-appointed scrounger. It is an honorable and useful skillset that everyone at one time or another requires. For you lawful types, the catch phrase is plausible deniability. The key is to not get yourself in a position where questions are asked. Perhaps Hon might be able to make something happen, perhaps not. Evil? Pshaw!
Hon "Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies" Semparatus
Sorry guys I think I just ticked off our paladin but I as tired of his judgemental attitude. So what if we never get in the wizards tower. W have enough to do already.

I will be cutting back on my numerous postings and I may not be as verbose due to limited computer access. I'll retcon as appropriate but should still be able to post once a day.
Integrated vs the Res. I can already tell you where Hon would be.
Okay, this probably marks the point where I have to think about getting rid of the axe... Although it's probably not going to be easy, and it also will find his way to Dwarven fundamentalists/extremists if I don't control it.
That said, I was planning to pick Improved Iron Will next level, so that it doesn't happen again.
Well, this is definitely a situation where you and the axe are at odds about what to do. Once dark dwarves are in front of you, I am sure you are in harmony again.
Would Kragg have had a chance to interrupt the attack since he indicated that he was grabbing khazad's arm? If not that is fine, just trying to impede him a bit before the attack. If so would it be an opposed grapple to maintain?
If so here is the roll.1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
That would just make it I think. But the ruling is up to you chainmail.
The attack was nonlethal, but grabbing for him would have made things worse (provoking). You can grab for him after the fact, but it will provoke if you don't have the appropriate skills/feats.
So no, grabbing for an experienced warrior's arm is not really going to impede him in this case.
As far as Durnaxe is concerned, if Kragg would also hold onto it would he be able to assist in a will save to khazad? If so then that is what he is thinking. The two current leaders of this dwarves party trying to compel the axe to follow their orders.
The Axe is difficult to control. Khazad actually is getting better at it as time progresses. Khazad explains that the axe is upset if anyone but he and Gallak touch it. Gallak (as son) would be allowed to 'aid' with a successful Will DC 15.
Right now - Khazad or Gallak as primary holder need Will DC 12.
Just to let you all know that I will be gone from July 9 through July 15 with no Internet access. Will be in the boundary waters area in others Minnesota. Go ahead and NPC or have khazad take charge for me. Thanks.

Are you disinclined to acquiese? I think both sides know it will come to blows but seek information you just can't get from Ask the Dead. Just peeked to verify Hon is only dwarf with undercommon. Yet another divisive skillset that may have Kib and Kragg question his background and loyalties.

I am sure the axe (Dominion Dwarfist) will have a few words. And Kibb (budding conspiracy theorist) should be having an apoplectic seizure of paranioa "fer conspiring with yet another enemy of the clan." But Kragg did accept parley not Hon. Hmmm, what should Hon's price be to sell Kib for safe passage?
