As far as the purchase of the 3 healing wands, I was thinking give the wand of cure mod to Gallak to increase his healing and Nar to have the cure lights. Once Joan and Kragg get to fourth, might see about getting another wand so the rangers can heal as well.

Agree that everyone should have a magic weapon as well. Joan, Nar and Gallak, please place the order and we'll get it for you. I am going to sell the 2 quivers of +3 arrows if everyone is ok with that. Since those that use bows are going to be magical already, they are a nice way to get more gp in the party fund. For the time being, if Nar or Gallak wish to use the +2 cold burst dagger they can. Not that they can sell it, but that is a magic weapon for them to use.

It was too powerful. If they gave bards magic missile, then why would you ever play a wiz or sorc. Bards would lord over all the other classes how much more uber they are than everyone else. At that point might as well give them sneak attack from the rogue's before they still it anyway. ;)

Don't mess. In 3.5 I played bards with sneak attack, large-size bastard swords, dancing whips, 8th-level spells, and diplomacies in the high 90s. Oh, 3.5, how broken you are.

I'll make do with my crossbow, and mostly just tell you where to go and what to hit and how. I may do well with a whip, as it'll allow me to ranged aid another...

I agree, Please stop confusing Kib and Hon. Let me help:
1) Hon has much more savior faire than the ankle-biter with a Napoleon Complex.
2) Hon is much better looking than a Dwarf-wannabe who lacks confidence in his own skin. I reck'n I could be a better Gnome than him while we are discussing it...
3) After this last "I need WANDS" shopping trip, he looks like a porcupine compensating for his, um, insecurities (see #1 and 2). Will he have these color-coded as well so we can add "psychodylic" to his descriptor?

Kragg, here is what I did:

Nar will sell the mithril chainmail+1 (unless anyone objects) for 5,665gp

He will then purchase full plate +1 for 3,180gp
A wand of cure light wounds for 1,125gp

Leaving 1,360 gp that he will donate towards the party fund to buy the miscellaneous items on our list.

I had a thought about a wand of endure elements, doesn't come up a lot, but handy to have when you need it and isn't dependent on caster level so a good 1st level wand. Could go for a half charged one maybe?

Hmmm, reasons for lacking confidence is it? Well let's see here. We have a 'supposed' Rogue Dwarf who
1) Can't seem to hit anything he aims at to save his, or anyone else's, life, let alone 'sneak' attack it
2) Is so hating of his own skin that he derides his kind at any and all oppourtunity, just so as to chum up with his human bum...I mean pals
3) Never fails at practising the only thing he is good at, hiding in the shadows and bravely missing every single fight

Now, to be fair, Hon is slightly less of an abuse to the eyes than most of the rest of the dwarves in the bunch, but he has nothing on the now 18 CHR (with his new magic trinket) Gnome. Why, the very beauty and force of this handsome sorcerer should be enough to make a jelly of a dwarf like Hon quiver in fawning supplication!

And have some sympathy for Torag's sake! Is it Kibibblepep's fault he was born in the wrong skin? Call him a pre-op, trans-racial dwarf then if it makes you feel any better, but a True Dwarf in heart and soul he is, despite outward appearances. And he can out-dwarf Hon any day!

Now as for the wands, I'll try and keep Kib from remembering all your cruel taunts and jests when you're begging him to use them to save all your sorry hides. And as well, remember! You want us to charm them as we try to be allies with them. If they resist the charm then we are screwed. Once the charm wears off we are screwed.

Will save spells are "invisible". If you succeed, you feel kinda weird. Fail, you don't remember.

True you don't know anything if you fail, but it can leave someone disorieted after the fact. Consider making an alliance with someone you hate when charmed only for the spell to end and you still hate that person. Not a situation I want to be in.

I don't know what the issue was, but I'm able to pull open spoilers now. Weird.

I have an issue with spoilers under IE9 - I can't see them if the text under spoiler starts with a tag. e.g. [ spoiler][ b].

That's never been an issue before, and it's still just the two spoilers I can't open. I don't see a correlation between them.

I had the same issues with the same spoilers but with Firefox. I think it was something else than browser.

And yes to be clear this is all flavortext. Nothing personal and Hon bears no enmity against Kib. He is just pressing buttons as the opp presents itself.

I can see it now, some human doesn't see Kib steps on him triggering the wand of fireball. Chain reaction later and all charges have been expended in one 1 gigantic explosion. Everyone looks around to find Kib has disappeared. Just a couple of his (short) beard hairs left.

I have to draw that now. It's too funny not to be on paper.
