Asmodia Fort Save 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 modified further by +2 or 4 for Iron liver vs. drugs and alchomohol!
AWH YEAH BOIIII!!

Male Orc Expert 5

The DC was 15. Success indicates being sickened for 2 rounds. Failure indicates nauseated for 2 rounds. These rounds start as combat starts.

Calseinica Fort 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

As the group swallows its various eggs there is a pause as the heavy booted steps of the cleric can be heard off stage. The bearded devil steps back with a fanged grin to match Haanderthan's sinister sneer as you feel a wretch and than a sudden expansion as the egg explodes within your stomach and expands upward in your throat choking out any noise you may hope to make.

As you attempt to cough and eject whatever the contents of the egg is in your gullet forcefully through your mouth the cleric, Vestus, lifts his unholy symbol into the air and chants an infenral incantation. A command for the black denizens of hell to rise and do as there master commands. You keel over and the red viscous and terrible tasting ooze expands and eventually evacuates through your mouth onto the stage with a sickening plo. Vestus finishes his incantation as the ooze writhes and undulates on the ground before you and seeming to rise from it are five beings pulled straight from your nightmares. Oozing masses that reach out for your throat.

Round 1
I 5-foot move to F/-23 to hopefully get flanking with LeVash.

Attack: 1d20 + 1 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 1 - 2 + 2 = 15 <-- vs. FF?, -2 sickened, +2 flanking
Damage: 1d6 - 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) - 2 + (5) = 8 <-- extra 1d6 sneak damage

Knowledge(planes): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 <-- Do I know anything about these? -- Apparently not.

Female Human Cleric/4

Asmodia Spellcraft 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 right, well... glad that is out of the way.

Asmodia five-foots to H-19 and casts Protection from Evil on Calseinica, granting her a +2 to her Armor Class for Deflection, and various other *cough* meta bonuses.

Male Human Barbarian 5

Fate has me in yet another fight for the entertainment of others.

Drawing upon his gladiatorial training, he bellows a mighty roar for the benefit of the crowd as he takes his opening swing at his "partner" on F-18.

Greatsword PA: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 6 - 2 = 12 -2 Sickened for 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (6, 6) + 7 = 19

Status:

Bloodless also gets to work with his sword, hoping to help Bejis dispatch the monster quickly... unfortunately all he can do is throw up.

Can't even go defensive! - just read Nauseated fully...

Fort Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 - w00t

Hmm, sickened for 2 rounds...I'm assuming the Lemures do not yet threaten.

LeVash draws his scimitar and casts Bless.

Male Orc Expert 5

Not yet. Aerieth sadly does not get any flanking from her position as Levash cannot move to flank with her.

Round 1.

The group fails to deal any significant harm to any of the creatures as their gooey nature prevents your respective weapons from even hitting hard enough to bring their devilish toughness to bear.

Vestus looks satisfied with the number of lemures his commands have dragged forth from hell. Seeing Calseinica still unoccupied with a "child" he raises his unholy symbol and begins casting again.

With a painful howl the Lemures lunge for their respective targets with an black ferocity as they try to rip out your hearts. Aerieth takes 2 damage, Levash takes 2 damage, Bejis takes 4, Bloodless manages to avoid the claws, and Asmodia also manages to dodge the claws.

Round 2!

The crowd cheers as the battle is joined properly and the orchestra starts playing heavy and brassy battle music! The group is up!

Tark - My AC is 18, not 14 as I cast Mage Armor before the performance started, it should last 3 hours. Not sure whether I would still be hit, but figured I should mention this.

Round 2
Still feeling ill from the seed, I 5-foot step to E/-23 and cast Protection from Evil on myself.

Cast Defensively: 1d20 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 3 = 27 vs DC17

--> AC 20 now and these things should not be able to touch me.

Male Human Barbarian 5

A sudden calmness comes over Bejis's face as some inner force takes over him, his roar turns even louder as it becomes strangely focused. Begin raging

Greatsword PA: 1d20 + 8 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 8 - 2 + 1 = 26 for 2d6 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (5, 4) + 10 - 2 = 17
Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 8 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 8 - 2 + 1 = 24 for 2d6 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (1, 5) + 10 - 2 = 14

As he settles into the familiar pattern of combat, Bejis thinks to himself, "Gorum guide my hands" as he brings the greatsword down upon his foe (F-18).

Bloodless is still heaving and retching... he maintains his position so they can keep the creature flanked, and at the same time avoid being easily flanked... he looks set to recover though.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Druid (Urban) - 4

LeVash/Lazarod strikes at the Lemure between him and Bloodless, knowing that he is unlikely to be able to harm it.

Attack on Lemure #1 - 1d20 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 2 + 1 = 13 - dmg:1d6 ⇒ 5

Female Human Cleric/4

Lets see if Asmodia recognizes Shade's Bless vs. DC 17 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 well that's good.

Wishing to conserve resources as much as wisely possible, Asmodia will assist Bloodless to hit on his next round.

Asmodia to Aide Another in Melee vs. DC 10 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10 if she succeeds, Bloodless will gain +2 to his attack next round.

Round 2 Recap!

The crowd gives a standing ovation as Krona easily separates her childs upper half from her lower. the shocked upper spinning slowly through the air before they fade back to wherever they came from leaving nothing but a pile of still bubbling ooze.

Calseinica is frightened by the sudden appearance of her child and is surprised when its mad clawing for her unarmed form proves fruitless.
The Lemures lunge for their respective targets and cry in outrage that some of them appear to be protected. Barking orders to the Lemure's they switch targets and prepare to rip apart new enemies.
No damage this round only Bejis managed to hit and hurt his target.

Round 3! Good guys up!

Hoping that the protection continues, Dentris steps 10' to the side to E/-21 seeking to draw attacks which cannot hit him/her. Then he raises his hands and with great showmanship calls to the power of the arcane and casts Shocking Grasp on F/-22. Hey, I am supposed to be playing a wizard.

@Aerieth, Tark: Can you also sneak attack?

Male Orc Expert 5

I'm assuming yes what with two levels and rogue.

Male Human Barbarian 5

Overcoming the effects of the egg and heady with the battle lust of a clean kill, Bejis spins around and lays into the next opponent on G-18.
Greatsword PA: 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 2 + 1 = 15 (+2 Flanking, +1 Bless) for 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 6) + 10 = 17

I figured that I would do a lot more damage with the spell. Forgot I can also sneak attack from this position. My goal, since she thinks she is unhittable with the Protection from Evil, was to get to a position where I can give as many people as possible flanking. Next round I will start poking again.

EDIT - do you mean that I can get sneak attack with a touch spell? If so, that is really cool. Here is the damage if that was the intent of Tark's response.

Sneak Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Female Human Cleric/4

Oh shoot, I forgot the sickened condition on my aide another for Bloodless. It doesn't work, Bloodless, sorry.

R3

Asmodia once again will try to assist Bloodless with attacking the nasty goo devils, so that she can get closer to Bejis without incurring AoOs or the wrath of the bearded devil or cleric of Asmodeus.

Asmodia aide another in Melee vs. AC 10 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17 if she hits target, she will aide Bloodless for +2 on his attack

Inspiring Command: Bejis and Bloodless will both get +2 To Hit/AC/CMD/Skill Checks for the next round. Otherwise, Levash is mostly doing his best to provide flanking

Male Orc Expert 5

4 damage to asmodia, 5 damage to bloodless.

Bejis's savage blow rocks the lemure but is not enough to stave off its assault as it continues to rip apart bloodless who now has two lemure's attempting to rip him apart 5 damage to bloodless. Meanwhile "Dentris" releases a flourish of gestures before touching one of the lemure's and causing it to explode. Whatever orders the cleric gave them "ignore the wizard" must have been among them as they fail to even notice or care about the elven woman's attempts at distraction. The cleric, satisfied, with the even number of children summoned contents himself with barking simple orders to the mindless creatures while you continue to battle them.

He seems to have posted that he was dropping out of two other pbp campaigns that he was in on April 22. He has still been posting here, not sure what his plans are.

Male Human Barbarian 5

If Inspiring Command can be used unlimited times, I would vote to have LeVash keep that up to end this combat (2 to 3 more rounds). We could then wait and see if he shows up again in the next few days.

Male Orc Expert 5

LeVash continues inspring his allies to greater adn great deeds of heroism.

Bloodless severely injures his target but falls short of actually killing it. Bejis meanwhile absolutely devastates his foes who explodes in a spray of ooze as the crowd ooo's and aah's at the display of might and magic. Asmodia's Tybain sadly does not fare well on the front and her dinky rapier seems a comic back drop to the ferocious performance of Krona and Drovalid.

Thesing, never wishing to be upstaged steps forward in frustration and begins monologuing.

"BEHOLD! BEHOLD THE CHAOTIC MAGICS OF THE ABYSS THEY HAVE WROUGHT! DARK PRINCE! DARKEST LORD! LET THEIR EYES BE MELTED FROM THEIR HEADS AND THEIR TONGUES TORN FROM THEIR IMPURE MOUTHS!"

VEstus can't help but roll his eyes at this as he barks further orders to keep his pack of summoned Lemures in-line. As a mercy it seems that the unholy symbol has been put away for now.

Meanwhile the bearded devil shuffles away from the enormous Krona not wishing to become more involved in the play than his expected role.

Meanwhile the lemures mechanically and unceremonially moan as they lunge for blood and death once more. Taking more chunks of meat out of the groups divine casters they give a triumphant howl as their fowl fingers connect with flesh. (Asmodia takes 4, LeVash takes three)

Calseinica suddenly coming to understand that she is protected for now makes a show of lifting her arms and claiming to call down terrible wrath and hellfire. It looks impressive. Particularly since Millech indulges her by creating a magical hellfire. It rains in around you and flits about with terrible devils and imps who spit, fart, and piss pure flame on to the Lemure's who seem unaffected.

OUCH! I am so glad that I put Protection from Evil on Calseinica, now... I'm gonna freaking die at this rate.

Asmodia, keeping to Tybain's comical character, and partially to her own as she is literally being torn apart for some ham actress, attacks the demon spawn at G-19 and her attack might as well rip her paper mache armor from her torso, the force is great, but so incredibly misdirected it is nearly vaudevillian.

I am here. Week more hectic than expected...

LeVash continues to inspire Bejis and Bloodless, and to provide flanking for Bloodless. Trying to remain professional, he does his best to time his exhortations so they don't interrupt Thesing's monologues, all while giving Thesing a contemptuous look.

Female Elf Rogue 2/Wizard(Air Elementalist) 3 (HP 33/33; AC 14(18 w/Mage Armor), FF 14, T 18)

Seeing her flanked opponent taken down, Aerieth moves back to E/-21 and pokes at the devil next to her.

Attack-Rapier: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Damage: 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + (2) = 6

And despite the great flair with which she flung her cloak while moving back around, her attack misses by almost as much, and is almost as comical, as Tybain's.

Male Orc Expert 5

Seeing nearly all of the lemure's be banished back to the hells Vestus simply clasps his hands together and moves to the backstage leaving the remaining lemure to his fate. With what is likely its final lunge at LeVash it leaves another twisted wound on LeVash's flesh (5 damage)

Haanderthan gives an anguished roar as it looks like the battle is all but decided. A complete opposite to VEstus's detachment.

Nice - that should be worth some bonus points from the crowd and the critics. Our gigantic ogress who is hitting the devil from the upstage side just sprayed gore over the front three rows of the audience (and LeVash).

Male Orc Expert 5

Indeed. Thesing's hardly finished with his anguished monologue begging the dark prince to slay the liars before he has to hurriedly step back and away from the curtain before it closes on him in an embarassing stage gaffe.

With a worried expression Delour moves out onto the stage to set up for the next play. The secondary curtain is dropped and once more you are left to your own devices. With two acts left one can only guess at just what the cleric ahs in store for you in the next act.

Calseinica frantic with fear and an emerging sense of excitement starts lauging. "Ohgodsican'tbelieveisurvivedthathowcanpeopledothis everydayimeandidyouseetheclawsonthatthing?hahahaIthinkidbedeadtentimes overifitweren'tforyourhelphaha!"

Female Elf Rogue 2/Wizard(Air Elementalist) 3 (HP 33/33; AC 14(18 w/Mage Armor), FF 14, T 18)

I look at Calseinica. Everything will be fine. Just make sure that you get behind one our big friends if we meet something like those hellspawn again.

Turning to the others with a whisper: Well, what's next. Does anyone need healing? And any input on our tactics? That seemed to work well, although I do not have any more protection from evil like that. I have three more shots at making Bejis or Bloodless large. Seemed to sork well for our fine ogress.

Male Human Barbarian 5

Warmly, to Calseinca, "One learns to duck rather quickly..."

Quietly, to the group, "I got a scratch, but I think others got hit worse. A 'legion of devils' sounds like the finale. Bloodless and I should take point, LeVash and Aerieth work the edges, Asmodia and Calseinica keep to the center."

Female Elf Rogue 2/Wizard(Air Elementalist) 3 (HP 33/33; AC 14(18 w/Mage Armor), FF 14, T 18)

Aerieth grins: The bigger question is what happens to the not-so-good magistrate once we finish this scene? According to the script, in the last scene he gets dragged off to hell - which is truly where he belongs anyway.

Bejis simply shrugs, then looks to Calseinica expectantly.

Female Human Cleric/4

When the curtain falls, Asmodia coughs, spraying some blood into her hand.

Whisper:

"Well, ain't that a b*tch? Dunned near ta death by summons. Must be my lucky f*uckin' day. Who wants to buy me a f*ckin' round?"

She glances warily at Calesinica, knowing that it was her generosity that spared the useless c*nt, considering the condition her ribs and breasts must be in now...

Celestial:
"No," she says in response to Aerieth's sentence of Thesing. "Boneyard, waitin' in line with all the rest of the rest, maybe consumed by Groteus. Anyone who lays a finger on that gorgeous blonde... will make me cross," she seethes.

Asmodia coughs blood again and lets her hand into her mouth to check the condition of her teeth. Whispered, "Shade, can ye spare the rod for a gibbering drunk?"

If LeVash doesn't answer, generally assume that Asmodia will heal herself before the next act CLW 1 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 and for my luck... CLW 21d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
