GM Crunch |
Hello everyone! GM Crunch here. I heard you needed a replacement GM. Not sure what sort you're looking for, so if you have any questions about my style, feel free to ask.

In one of your games now and enjoying it. You describe things fantastically and the pace is great considering the website instability. I would love to have you finish this one out.

That's a ringing recommendation if I ever heard one, thank you! I'd like to take a bit to re-prep the scenario, it's been a while, but I'll try to start as soon as possible.
A few things beforehand, though.
Please RNG I'll be your eternal servant just fulfill me this one prayer: 1d20 ⇒ 5
Londo Greenbottle |
I would like to withdraw Londo so I can play Gallows with him in two weeks, but if its ok with everyone I have a new level 1 I can slide in here to replace him with.
GM Crunch |
Sounds good Londo, just check in with your new character and then I can mark your current one as inactive to make things easier. Also, remember to roll to see which boon you got and PM me your e-mail!
P'aqha |
Hello!
Since I am the one who called in for Hmm's help, and had offered to GM this if there was need of replacement GM, I was not sure if I'd be playing or not.
But since it is all Crunchy (thanks!), I'll play P'aqha.
Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 51d4 ⇒ 3

Good to have you here, P'aqha!
Now, to business. From what I've gleaned, you're fighting two spiders, one of which is severely damaged. Per the Bestiary statistics, however, the one you've been attacking is out of the fight, there were just a few mathematical mishaps. By that vein, Dino is not entangled, it savaged the spider just before the latter's turn. Taizen, however, still is. Amaron, Dino, Taizen, and Sirius have acted in this round, leaving P'aqha and Raibert. I will put a map and the appropriate tokens into the Google Slides presentation (link in my header) shortly, and once everyone is ready, we can resume.
My apologies if this is getting too complicated too fast. It's just how PFS generally works; otherwise, it's campaign mode.

Eek, spiders!
Thanks for getting the game back on track, GM Crunch!

Thank you! I planned on doing that myself, but no way I'm going to complain. Why do work when you can do...less work?
Anyway, I forgot to mention that Saturday is my general face-to-face PFS day, and occasionally my home-game, so I will be out from 1400 to Late PST. We'll likely start tomorrow once I get it together and everyone is ready.

Hello guys. I do apologize. The website went out just when I needed to warn people that I'd be light on posting for a while.
Not that things were going well anyway. I'm not entirely sure what the problem was but I felt rather much like you were expecting me to constantly shove everything forward.
TheAlicornSage |
GM Crunch, if you tell me how I'll be happy to transfer the campaign to you.
Good catch on the spider. I'm not sure how I missed that.
TheAlicornSage |
I suspect it is just a difference of playstyle. Many gms I've played under, especially the organized play bms, made me feel feel like they were shoving everything down my throat, just so busy pushing everything forward at such breakneck speed that it was never fun, and often felt more like playing a video game than an rpg, yet other players would still be very happy with those gms. When it came to pbp and organized play, I just figured it was the gms trying to keep up the pace.
I myself have never gm'd like that, and never will, as I very much dislike that kind of gming.
GM Crunch |
I don't think you can transfer the campaign, at least from what I've been told. I put in a request to forum support, but they're likely backed up with all the current issues. It might take a while, but it's not crucial. I can just put the relevant stuff in my header.
Thanks for running until now, PFS certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea. There are, of course, the drawbacks you mentioned regarding speed and occasional loss of flavor, but they're there to help people from all over play.

Sorry, in bed with the flu and some fever, and hit the wrong line when posting.
Will just sleep instead, sorry.
Wanted P'aqha not the other, and did not even see it posted twice (I thought I was editing after checking the Knowl' roll).
Sorry (((

The 17th is drawing near, and I need to report the game by then so it counts as one for Gameday. This means that Amaron and Londo, I need your e-mail addresses. I put them in the reporting form so the higher-ups can send you your boons. Amaron, I can't seem to send you PMs, is the same happening to you?
GM Crunch |
Whoops, one more thing before I forget. Raibert and Sirius, I still need your PFS and character numbers to report, forgot to ask that earlier but I found them for everyone else.
GM Crunch |
Session has been reported! Also (thunderclouds coalesce in the sky above and the earth begins to tremble) the support request went through and I have become the official GM! Pretty much all that changes is now I can edit the campaign header if need be.
GM Crunch |
Sorry, guys, it's been a bit hectic preparing for my impending turkey-induced coma. I'm going to assume some of you might be doing so as well, so while I initiated combat, don't feel the need to post if you're busy.
GM Crunch |
No problem, I kind of expected people to be slow/out for most of this week.
Taizen Raizak |
I've only skimmed my copy at the moment. I'll take a better look today.
Amaron Blackthorn |
I have been home sick most of the day today but had to take my cat to the vet because he hadn't eaten in two days and vet was concerned. I should be back tomorrow night.
Amaron Blackthorn |
He is doing better. It seems that he had a case of gas which sounds funny but can be serious. The liver could start acting up and his system, if not working, could go septic.
GM Crunch |
If everyone could roll Day Job checks (or put a link to where they were already done) that would be great.
