I'd expected something more epic. Like: Then there was light...

I needed a filler
I will get about editing it now

Happy now

The trees in the lagoon

Greetings

Hey Therrrrre....

Welcome

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

I guess Jester is lucky that he wears no pants.

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

If I had known that you'd come as wolf and lamb I might have chosen cabbage as name.

Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2

lol

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

You know the riddle? How to get a wolf, a lamb and a cabbage over a river with a boat that can only carry you and two of your goods?

And anytime you leave either the wolf and the lamb or the lamb and the cabbage alone something will get eaten.

Female humaaaan 12

I thought that was a goat...

Tis much of a muchness

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

I know it with a sheep and adapted it to lamb ;)

Hehe

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

What exactly is Wolf? I mean rules wise?

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

Eidolon. Right?

Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2

indeed

Jester, you rolled a 25 for stealth
I will tell you when you need to reroll it :)

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

I hid in a box. Rolling was just for fun. Now I stick my head out. Which is another action with the risk of being seen. Why wouldn't I roll again?

It is part of the same long term action. Hide from the giant wolf.
I want to try something called letting the die roll

Let it ride

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

But where is the fun in not getting found?

You can always say you tip the box for example

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

I agree on that Let it ride stuff. But here the first roll was just to make clear I'm hiding. But the roll was too good to be found. I'm trying roleplay through rolling. But once I want to stay hidden I'll come back to that let it ride stuff.

Ahha, the fun thing is you still are beating the perception checks

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

Obviously there is nothing to see at all for a perception 12 as the Narrator doesn't write another prosaic description of the beach :P

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

Good morning.

Will Lamb try to make contact? Because Jester is not going to do that. He is afraid of Wolf.

Female humaaaan 12

I purposefully sat in view of Jester with Wolf running around on the beach, hoping that Lamb's calm demeanor would coax Jester to come out of hiding...

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

Jesters life story is pretty short at the moment: "Living in a box."

All things are either:
dead material -> ignore
living and smaller -> to eat
living and bigger
-> Unknown (a threat)
-> Known -> Human or human like (probably no threat)

Female humaaaan 12

well, there's a humanoid sitting in full view just humming to herself, with the wolf quite some distance away.

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

Also Wolf - besides being a really dangerous creature - is slightly off from looking like a real animal.

With his "The eidolon’s physical appearance is up to the summoner, but it always appears as some sort of fantastical creature."

That could be comic like, but as I see it his appearance is straight from uncanny valley. There is the need for some therapeutic sessions to get used to that. So first thing we need is a couch and an arm chair.

Q: "Jester, what is it specifically that scares you about Wolf?"

A: "Some brabbling about looking scary"

Q: "Wolf, what feelings does that cause you?"

Kitsune Game Master

Missed that 'on top' of the dune.

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

Monster seems to be a highly subjective thing. With Jester easily ending up in that category too if someone else does the sorting ;)

I think this night be the first game I have played that has no human...

Everything is monstrous in some way or another

Kitsune Game Master

Especially humans :P

Har har har
GOOD JOKE

Female humaaaan 12

I'll see if I can make a drawing of Kin soon. So you have an idea who you're adventuring with

Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2

of course, now that I've probably thoroughly dissuaded you from asking anymore, I found the perfect answer to your question about what lamb eats.

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

You're a even smaller baby than Jester and only drinking your food?

You can tell me here. It'll stay our secret.

Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6

I read some background on kindred. It's really good and the stories are touching.

But I guess the experience in play will be far from that. Wolf might have his fun at ripping something apart. But finding someone you can take down with one arrow will be really hard. Even if you find someone willing and do a coup de grace.

Maybe Jarryd throws in some kind of death attack for that ;)

I was thinking of allowing vital strike on ranged attacks. Something similair to the melee 1 hit builds...

I am also willing to let feats do more interesting things than present

Kitsune Game Master

There is a feat similar to vital strike for ranged. We have an archer in our offline group who does that.

The interesting part would be for someone willing to accept death to give a feat that with that specific circumstances always hits and always kills.

I am not sure I understand completely what you mean?

Kitsune Game Master

Well.
1. Vital strike is not and was never limited to melee attacks. I looked it up

2. Something completely different: It would be cool to give Lamb the ability to kill a creature willing to accept death with a single shot to the heart.

Now clear?

Now clear

Kitsune Game Master

Good morning.

Hi there
