Let the OOC Discussion of Sunless Citadel begin! And welcome, to my players from the d20 World of Greyhawk board. I hope that this new environment invigorates the campaign!

Anthropomorphic Lemming Levels? What are those?

Still have a lot to learn, but thought I'd try to say 'Hi'!

So not going to change my avatar name given this is a better name when not doing play by post type of stuff.

It looks good from what I can see. Rolling our own dice would be cool.

Test test this is a test to see if I understand

damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

What does DRR Stand for?

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

You don't have to use DRR, it's just an abbreviation I've always used and gotten in the habit of using. Dice Roll Result.

Init: +3 | AC: 17 / FF AC: 14 / Touch AC: 13 | Fort: +4 / Ref: +2 / Will: +2 [+3 bonus on saves against spells and spell-like effects] | Speed: 30' | Favored Attack: Rapier +5 melee / 1d6 piercing damage / 18-20 (x2) crit

Pain in the ass.

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

I've put up a new instructional post on the d20 board that will hopefully be a little more helpful.

Also, if you have a Paizo account and wish to use that instead, please feel free to do so. I know it'll be a lot easier to post to my adventure threads using a single account.

I do ask that my players do their own dice rolling, however. It just makes my job a LOT easier when I'm only rolling for the bad guys and when I have to NPC a player character.

Thanks! And if you do have issues, please do let me know here. This is definitely a transition for all of us. It's really my last idea to keep myself in the game at the d20 board.

Hey West; trying to set up characters here, but as you've already set them up under your accounts, I can't set up aliases for my characters!

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Yep, you'll have to use a slightly different name, sorry about that! Maybe Romar_Griffon or Romar G or something? I should have thought of that issue when I created them in the first place...

Sorted it out for this one. I'll see if adding in an extra space will work for some of the others.

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Nice! If you would (this goes for all my players using their own accounts), please find an avatar pic you like for this profile so I can see your posts easier - as I am finding it difficult to pick out your posts when you don't have the pic. Thanks!

I would also like it to have your character name, which is REALLY easy to do on this board by simply creating an alias in your account and name it after your Sunless Citadel character. Then when you post, just choose that character name from the dropdown menu below your post where it says 'Post As'.

Remember also that I'd really like for you to roll your own dice! If you want to practice, use this Discussion thread for tests as much as you'd like. You can also use the Preview button before you Submit to see if your dice roll coding went as planned. And since the Show button isn't working to help you format, here is how you code a dice roll:

{dice=Crossbow Attack Roll}1d20+4{/dice} vs Goblin #3
{dice=Damage Roll}1d8{/dice}

Just use 'regular' brackets instead of the squiggly ones - I couldn't use the correct ones in an example or it would have coded it. Telling me the weapon you are using and the goblin you are aiming for will help me a lot as well. Don't worry about cover and other things that may or may not affect your dice roll, but if you want to have a hand in rolling your concealment miss chance because of the fog, do this:

{dice=Concealment Miss [1-20]}1d100{/dice}

This tells me that on a d100, if you roll between 1 and 20 your attack misses. If you want the high roll to miss, just do [80-100] instead.

If you need further help with anything, let me know and I help you out.

I'll get everything sorted out by this weekend. I'm training this week, but every night I should be able to set up one avatar, so by the end of the week I should have them all set up.

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Welcome back, now post your action! *whip crack* :)

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

OK, I think we've got four people, though I'm wondering if I might try bringing in a couple more players to fill out your group a bit - an arcanist and a fighter type.

We are coming up to a place where I can maybe write some folks in and out (presuming you survive this immediate battle), and a short-handed group might have difficulties with the next part of the adventure - especially lacking a fighter.

Watch for a new post this week, and I'll look to recruit a couple of players maybe by the end of May.

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Sorry folks, I'm actually exceeding my maximum capacity of games and this is one that I believe I'm going to have to let go as I'll need to recruit anyway. The curse of the Sunless Citadel continues, I suppose... :(

I will wrap it up with a post in the next couple weeks and then get your characters on the d20 WoG board settled up in case you want to find other adventures for them.

Well drat. Kehr is cursed it seems. Wait...
