I'm saying you could be, if not then it'll be a while before you could join. I suggest joining or you could be a new marine, keep your pc, change name, be a little different background and join up that way, you wouldn't lose anything, then we come back you could switch back to Elyas with xp and all... Or do different pc, up to you. Just I can't say much without spoiling things, so join now if you can or be prepared not to play for a while... Maybe do something in discussion thread your pc wants to work towards... You have any ideas?

I think we should split up. Some folks can go to the bridge and distract the magos. The rest go to retrieve the devices under pretense of finding the source of the sabotage, and while we're there break stuff (probably set charges to important parts) to create a new crisis to distract the magos. The guys going to the bridge can try risking the vox jammer to temporarily isolate the magos so the new crisis is more sudden and distracting, but that risks discovery.

I hope this doesn't die off, I really enjoy Xing and this story has me intrigued, its one twist after another, and maybe we are finally about to see the real threat and get on with the mission...whatever that may be.

Marines are being surrounded and cut off from reinforcements while they try to keep magos from taking devices they found and need to transfer to Inquisition ship.
I'm gonna say you're able to just catch up with them, Vartas or Xing group, your choice.

How do you guys feel about me allowing you to just narrate these small skirmishes and not roll for combat? They are so puny and small, it'd just take up time and wouldn't be that satisfying in my mind, but if you guys really wanna shoot at and get some critical on the mice, then let me know and we'll roll initiative.
It won't always be like this, just sometimes its easier for their to be combat without me having to make it so challenging that you need to roll for it. Soon, depending on what you guys do, there will be a bigger fight that will require rolls. I'd just rather save fights that benefit and push the story and not just fillers. Hope everyone agrees with that, please let me know if you don't and we'll discuss some adjustments.

Simply narrating things that are not a challenge is just fine. While there is some fun to be had wading through a pack of mooks, it is probably not worth slowing down the story.

I, personally, am not irritated at all. Ulrich, though he was expecting to lose his bondsmen, is angry that it happened so quickly. His anger is directed at the Magos and his servants, however, so no worries.

Posting today, sorry for delay, been a hectic few days with brother leaving and wife sick, just got called to a meeting across town, will update afterwards when I'm at a pc.
You guys may ambush the Magos and his escort if you like or await your brothers who should arrive soon, up to you. There is only one main entrance to the labs, the door where you are and its a rather large lab from what you can tell, most likely multiple levels and an important part of the ship.
Brothers will arrive in 5 rounds in case you decide to take action before they arrive, otherwise you all may join together and enter. Please roll initiative if you decide to enter together, though combat won't necessarily begin, doing initiative now will save some time and get us back on track.

Hey, your power still went off, I just didn't think it dealt full damage to a guy barely "human." Machine trait, flesh is weak, autosanguine, blood replaced, etc...I thought initially it didn't even affect machines, but that's another PSy power that is similar.
It happened, just didn't deal as much damage as you thought it would. Otherwise, nothing changed, is that what confused you?

How did your Storm Bolter get 10 hits? Just was reviewing rules for my post and Storm quality says Max is double weapon shot capacity. Storm Bolter is 1/2/4, max should be 8..Right?
