Elite Advance
Due to Brother Castil's efforts aboard the ship and his aiding Inquisitor Van Vuygens, the Kill-Team receives the free elite advance Tyranid Savant. Any time the Kill-Team rolls a Lore Skill involving Tyranids they can reroll recalling the wisdom of the sometimes overly studious Inquisitor Van Vuygens.

Since this is dealing with the Warp, I do not see how the devices in the helmets assist with that. this seems more of an innate thing. The bonuses to senses are very specific-Sight/Sound, and this does not seem to fall under that critera. Based on that I will say you get only your skill bonus for this.

I assume that Castil and I don't get the XP/Renown from the mission we weren't on?
We might get a little for having done stuff here on the station, but no mission xp. I believe after an actual first mission starting level guys get bonus xp to help catch them up, as per the GMs original post.
Anyways, good mission fellas. Looking forward to joining the team next time out.

You get full Exp/renown, and those on mission get the Elite Advance and get to be in the know about things you did.
The ratlings were slaves caught during a raid. They had escaped during the exchange with the Pious Immolation and were working with salvaged gear hiding from the denizens of the traitor vessel. They tried to follow Brother Leon's directions, but without an escort they fell to the many pitfalls that ship had to offer.

Vote for MVP To new players this is based on what ever criteria you want, it is appreciated if you give a reason with your vote.
The Following players receive an Honorable Mention, or can recover a burned fate point for the following criteria
Best Role-Playing: Brother Elyas Due to Brother Elyas' characteristics he rarely speaks. This can be a drawback when determining best Role Playing, but if done well on a consistent basis I will take notice. The main reason Brother Elyas is getting it this time, is he waits for orders. Even when he might know a good course of action and I am sure it can be frustrating not to just charge or do something he knows how to do , he allows the leader to play the leader. That is being a good soldier. I do notice that the rest of you do this also, but I know especially in this instance, that Brother Elyas waited for orders despite really wanting to engage the ratlings and see what was up there.
Best Kill: Brother Leon This is pretty easy because due to the efficiency of Brother Lutha's team, there was really only one hard encounter. Brother Leon's kill of the Chaos Spawn with his surprisingly strong Servo Arm was the best kill of this short mission.
Best Use of Fate Point: Brother Del In this instance it was Brother Del, using it to render aid to the Sister of Battle made for a quick recovery of that team.
Additional Rewards
Brother Lutha you actions caught the eye of Daysha and she will make herself available to you as a point of contact to the Offico Assassinorum.+20% To fellowship based interactions with Daysha, and increased Degrees of Success when seeking information on certain missions that require investigations when the Pious Immolation is in Orbit, or Daysha is planet side.
Brother Leon By observing the Ritual of Cleansing you have increased insight into dealing with Dark/Heretical Technology receive +5% to Tech-Use when dealing with such devices, however some devices will still require the Dark or Heretical Tech Lore Skill. I will make those available to you for 200 xp each if they are not yet in your progression.
Brother Del your swift aid to the Seraphim and your chapter's reputation has endeared her to you. When dealing with Sisters of Battle from the Pious Immolation you will receive +5% to fellowship based skills.

I stand happily corrected.
In your case Castil and Brother Del, not only do you get exp for this mission, but now that you were part of one mission you get brought up to the aprox EXP of the team. I will have to get back to you on how much that is unless one of the players has that information on hand.

Darn. I had hoped they would be able to get to the landing bay seeing as they had managed to wander around the ship thus far. I was worried about the possibility of the talks drawing out too long and us being overrun in such a place.
Valerio will take it hard, seeing it as a personal failure, but I'll survive.
Now I have to think about how to spend this xp

Yehey!!! I will build up my character to Rank 2 ;-)

I've updated the Alias page with xp spent and began to piece some history together. Just need to wait for a reply from PM and then I'll lay out the final update and expanded history. Didn't realize how expensive playing a Psyker would be. Oh well, seems like it'll be helpful to the team and able to hold his own. I just worry about my lack of skills at this point...but not much xp left after buying Psy ratings and powers.
It's late now, I'll take a look at some of your sheets (if I can find them, some people haven't updated their alias page with info)See what skill we might be lacking and consider dropping a psy power to fill any gaps we might have. If someone has a suggestion, let me know.

I do not see anywhere that hatred does not stack with those abilities, so that should be fine. If you get close you should be doing well if you have those.
To be Clear, you can be a criminal in this game without being a "Heretic".
A Heretic is: A Human that either worships/uses the dark powers, or uses/worships Xenos technology. HereTEKs fall under this category also if they are using banned robotic technology or dark tech.
Examples of Criminals that are not Heretics
A greedy Politician
A Witch that does not follow chaos or xenos(potential to fall to one or the other is great and eventually this might happen, but not right away)
A hive gang not motivated by the previous mentioned criteria
Usually it is clear in the mission, or in my descriptions if you are facing heretics.

Sorry everyone for being absent for a few days. I just had a pretty hectic move into a new apartment, which had more than a few unexpected turns. Now I'm in the new place, but it's going to be without internet for a few days. I can post from work and from my phone, but it's going to be spotty at best.

I have been very sick and now I find my computer no longer functions. I can not run things from my phone. If someone wwishes to take over go ahead. I do not for see fixing my computer any time soon
Sorry to hear. Hope everything works out.
I'd step up if I had ever gm'd or played a game of death watch...Anyone else confident? I might start a thread looking for one if everyone would like to continue playing.
