Enworld does, but it is kind of confusing to navigate. Giants in the Playground also has some, but I have not gotten into it.
Aeshuura |
One of these days I would like to play a realtime game with you all. Man...
Eeerie |
Hahaha!..It is a bit yes and no. The mannerisms of Eerie are mostly taken from another character I play in PFS. He is Smert, a neutral Human Necromancer. Being raised as chattel in Geb, he has a twisted view on 'friendship'. As such, he raises and controls undead so that he can have 'friends'. When rping him I often seat myself next to the brawny fighter of the group and periodically ask him, with the voice you imagine Eerie has, "Can I have jour body when jou are done with it?" I have been told that Smert is super creepy.
I often use voices to enhance my character's personalities, as well as little physical mannerisms at the table. Creepy is not a go to of mine so I was very excited to try and capture the sheer creepiness via text to the degree that I do with Smert.
That being said, I do play some fun, lovable characters as well. It just seems that some of you are catching just this one. I hope I haven't driven people away too much with Eerie.
EDIT: I also imagine the avatar/picture I chose for Eerie plays a decent role in his creepiness. It was just so perfect.
Snow in the Valley |
He’s great. I also think we are just touching on some RP that could help the group better understand Eerie and maybe help us accept him more than we have.
I’ve seen two of your characters and the other one is very loveable. Both are excellent RP ideas as well.

I half expect/hope people read the spoilers, I put thought into them. Though, I imagine if someone doesn't, when it does finally apply to them it would be an interesting surprise and probably an, "Ohh.." as to everyone else's reactions to the spoilers thus far.

Sorry, taking inventory today. Not gonna be able to post. Try and throw one up tonight!
Aeshuura |
Sorry guys, this is going to be more difficult than I thought, navigating this from my tablet. Do you guys mind putting this on hold until the 11th? So sorry about this...
Aeshuura |
Thanks, guys! Wish I could share the pics I got! Had lunch with Emi Tanji and Shawn Wood from the art and design team. Then after lunch, Shawn grabbed Mike Mearls to meet me! Was awesome! If you guys ever get a chance, go visit!
Aeshuura |
Thank you, it has been an amazing week! No D&D though... Just got to meet a few people from the team, including Mr. Meals! Heading back to Seattle tonight and back to Hawaii tomorrow!
Aeshuura |
It was a lot of fun.
Here is the pic with Mearls, Emi Tanji, and Shawn Wood with Mitzi in the background!
Greycastle |
Sounds like it was pretty awesome. How did you get the tour? I’m assuming you didn’t just “show up” and ask to see Mearls. Lol
Aeshuura |
Haha, I have been donating to Emi for the last two Extra Life games since I found out that she was also from Hawaii. Donated to Shawn last year. I let Emi know I was coming to visit and invited her and her team to lunch. Most of them were on vacation or at Cons, but Shawn was available.
When we got back from lunch, Shawn went and grabbed Mearls from his desk to come down and take a pic! Quite fortuitous for me. ^_^
EDIT: It wasn't much of a tour. That was basically their lobby. Didn't get to see any secret stuff.
Raiden Bartok |
So...which one is Shawn or rather which one is you in the pic? That's really cool that you invited them to lunch and got to hang out. And now I know what Extra Life is. This campaign has been quite educational!
Aeshuura |
Sashah is correct! ^_^ I am actually wearing my ToA Extra Life shirt! (Art by Emi)

I believe we should take the time to take out the bridge to the town itself during the hour as well. It looks like a wooden bridge so lighting it on fire would work well enough for a quick solution. That way, they have no points of entry to the town or keep. Then if we make a minor presence known, they'd likely leave the village itself alone. If they don't leave the village alone it will give us more time. If they go straight for the keep, they are likely to siege it at a wall which will withstand assault better than the front. Either way it buys us time and maybe...maybe..if need be, we could defend it pretty decently.
Aeshuura |
True, but you also do not know how big the force is. If you have some way to counter-scout, or maybe Sliver or Aukan make that History check I asked for... ;)

By the way, that whole bridge is a draw bridge that you have raised. :)

Big changes coming in September! Still a little hesitant on how this will work... (You get a bag of holding! YOU get a bag of holding!)

I’ve been DMing recently at our AL local venue and we’ve been looking hard at these new rules. I was kind of sad. I had a character get the staff of the forgotten one and haven’t had a chance to use it bam, it’s gone lol. The new treasure rules do have a lot of good points. Now everyone walks away from the table with treasure rather than one person per adventure.
Aeshuura |
Yeah. It seems like a lot of it was a result of certain kinds of players sniping magic items for their trade mules, despite a character at the table being able to actually make use of it.
And the banned items a result of players at the table ruining the fun for everyone else by making them feel useless...
:(
Aeshuura |
No worries, I figured as much and even rolled a crit for you! I hope that I was appropriately creepy for you...
Aeshuura |
Thanks! I really try to keep true to the PCs when I have to bot you all...

There are two more sections to go! School is going to be starting soon, so I am going to be a little busy, but I will try to keep at least the 1 post per day rate. (A little slower on weekends.)
I will post up the intro to the next section tomorrow or Monday!
EDIT: Decide amongst yourselves, who is going to take the potion of invulnerability.
Oghren Battlehammer |
Snow would happily take the potion if Oghren doesn't want it.
I have no problems with that
