The second 1d6 damamge is from Precise Strike since Grusk also has it and we're flanking.

Ah - thought it might, but Grusk is not actually in base contact with the ankheg you're hitting so it doesn't apply here.

While my job hunting is still a work in progress, it has settled down enough that if Darkbiter is still welcome and/or needed, I could jump back in.

Sure, a couple of us were, but he haven't heard from the GM or half the party in a while.

I do have 2 king maker games going, one with MG which is rolling along well, and one with doomed which has been rocky as hell with 4 people disappearing and a second recruitment needed before the second fight. Everyone does seem to have pulled together enough for four of us in the last couple days so I'll be updating when I get off work tonight (~10 hours from now). Sorry about the wait, I've had a busy weekend and I have a bit too much on my plate game-wise, but I'll pull through lollol

Interesting. How big of a mess would it be to combine them into one game? How big would the party be?

I believe there's five of us currently. Not sure how many in total you have in your's but if its 4, that would be 9 PCs...

I honestly have no idea how the rules work with that.

Intuitively you're right that the target is still on fire from the alchemist's fire so that should give an additional chance for the oil to light up. That's the way I'll roll it here at least, though will be interesting to see what take others have on it.

Hey guys, a friend of mine got a surprise military leave and between that and work I've been swamped. However, last night I took the really quick route down some stairs (I.e. I fell) and thus wotk has become a non-issue for at least a day or two, so i will be updating later today.

Probably an appropriate juncture to do a cross-post to my DM'ed PbPs about an interruption to my posting schedule that is imminent.

My wife is about 37 weeks pregnant, which basically means that the bun is fully cooked and ready to pop at any time. This means that at some point in the next 1 day to 4 weeks I will suddenly and without notice disappear completely from the interwebs. I can't say when or for how long, but it will probably knock me out for up to a week or so before my wife and I get back on our feet and I'm of somewhat sound and untired enough mind to jump back online.

So if I do vanish, please don't fret as I shall return :) I would just ask for some patience for a while as we adjust to the new baby floating around. I'll get ourselves sorted at home first, then recommence with the DM'ing once we're all squared away and back in some sort of a new-born 'sequence' again.

Hope all goes well, and you get settled back down as much as reasonably possible fairly soon.

You can assume that you were sent to follow your squad and arrived into the rabbit warrens of the ankheg soon after they slew the biggun. Just post straight out as though you tracked them to where they are.

Sorry for the absence. I've been 'netless.

Wife and new Bub continue to do well and all things considered should hopefully be back in our own home as of tomorrow. Will see how the home-life settles out before committing to a specific time for wading back online so will keep you posted on when that occurs and we'll start this wee beastie back up.

Back home with wife and baby boy and things continue to go well. You might have noticed that I've stepped back into the PbPs that I play in; and if things continue to go well I'll be back DMing in the next couple of days.

Just want to make sure that when I do re-start that I'm able to commit wholehearted and get things rolling with the quality and focus that I'd like.

So if I can test your patience for just a mite longer that would be much appreciated.
