Kagore |
Kagore keeps on hand on his rifle the other on a detonator object attached to his belt just in case of emergency. He backed slowly toward the door ready to hold the trigger on the rifle. "Its a lead. Safety first though and we'll figure out what to do next."
Gotal of Umbara |
Gotal backs away as well, blaster up to tackle any threats that may lunge at the group.
As he backs away he will use Life Detection to ascertain if anyone is actually IN this ruined building, besides hordes of womprats.
Sense 3d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 3) = 8
The Force |
"This was last place I knew he would be but obviously things have changed. The Wastes ain’t safe to travel after dark, and I certainly don’t want to camp out in those awful ruins. There’s a place I know that will put us up for the night, and some people there may be able to provide us with some information. It’s called the Oasis and, if we hurry, we should make it there before Second Twilight."
The Force |
Arno explains the Oasis is a religious community situated in the middle of nowhere. The Dim-U, as the priests call themselves, came to Tatooine aboard the original colony ship, along with the first settlers (although the original priests have died out). On Tatooine, as on hundreds of other planets, they came to help establish the world and expand their religion.
You come to find a small town fighting to survive in the endless desert, far from larger cities. A number of dwellings, built in the distinct Tatooine manner, huddle together with several moisture farms to make up Oasis.
The priests welcome you when you enter their settlement. "As the familiar Bantha welcomed us to this world after our long journey, so we welcome you."
Rufus some of these men look sort of familiar to you from the market when you first got into town.
It is not after dark when you arrive to the settlement.
The Force |
The priest nods. "Come with us to the main hall. There you will find food and shelter."
Along the way you see farmers quitting work for the night, children playing atop huge Banthas, and other members of the community engaged in various activities.
At the main hall a man approaches your party and introduces himself a Dryon the high priest. He looks very similar to the street preacher in Mos Eisley, except he is cleaner, neater, and wears better clothes.
He greets you with "As I told the others earlier, Oasis doesn’t ask for names or explanations. Like the humble Bantha, we simply greet newcomers and offer what aid we can to make life easier upon this suns-scorched ball."
Rufus Griller |
Rufus hops out of the speeder and spreads his arms wide. "Well, if it isn't the messengers of the great bantha in the sky!"
His lopsided grin is wide as he humors the folks and their ways. "I heard your message in Mos Eisley; the bantha shows the way, right? Just watch where you step if you're right behind him."
When Kagore asks bluntly, he folds his arms and nods in agreement.
Kagore |
Kagore growls his annoyance. He leans in to the other two rebels and whispers. "I'll keep first watch tonight just in case there is any more unexpected ambushes from bounty hunters or other things. I'm also going to look around some before we settle in." He turns back to Arno giving him a hard look. "Come morning you better have some idea of where to go and not just be leading us on a wild goose chase trying to get us killed otherwise I'll start to suspect your just another trap laid by the bounty hunters to send us in circles. So far I am less than impressed."
The Force |
Arno looks taken aback.
"Is he always this grumpy?" he says to the rest of the group.
Many of the members of the Oasis make their way into the big tent your in as things settle down outside and they sing and play. Many ask your group of your great adventurers not being from here and show much interest in your stories.
Kagor make a Perception check as your keeping watch.
Kagore |
The reason Stealth is a big deal is due to my character's special silent strike maneuver. The only issue is its been so long since I last did combat now I have to relearn the rules for this game...
Stealth: 6d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 1, 2, 5) = 22
Like a shadow Kagore slide through the night as he spotted the men, attempt to come up behind them at close range. His palm cocked back and attempted to silently knock the last one in line out without making a sound.
(If attacking from behind their static defense is lowered.)
Silent Strike: 6d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 6, 5, 3, 5) = 26
Silent Strike Damage: 7d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 6, 5, 1, 5) = 25
Assuming this drops the enemy unconscious, Kagore catches them before they hit the ground. He will attempt to do this again until he is noticed or he has taken all the men out. If they start firing on the camp before he completely neutralizes them all he will go into a flurry of martial arts strikes to try to take them out(in the initiative order.)
The Force |
Forgot your stealth machine! The enemies are grouped in close quarters moving in together so you will drop one but they will see you right after

bh4 awareness: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 2) = 13
bh5 awareness: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 6, 3) = 16
Kagore the silent killer drops one of the Bounty Hunters before they are even aware what was going on and as soon as their ally falls a smoke grenade is launched into the tent.
Your peaceful evening ends abruptly as a window shatters and a smoke grenade crashes against the far wall. Dark, noxious smoke quickly fills the hall, and people begin to rush from the building.
The other Bounty Hunters turn their blasters toward Kagore!
Everyone roll init!
bh1 init: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 6, 1) = 16

Kagore |
Kagore moves with all the speed his body can muster flying toward on man with a elbow to his face and spinning his lower body into a spinning kick at the next man. Not stopping, as he lands he charges the next man jumping to bring a knee into his gut before bouncing away to bring a viscous hook at the last man pointing a gun his way.

Round 1
Gotal stands, after all he was not sleeping simply using the Force as his guide.
Seeing the smoke rising from Kagore's wound he knows the time has come from inside his robe his lightsaber leaps into his hand as he leaps into action the blue blade flashes out striking on of the Bounty Hunters with its brilliance.

Kagors grunt and performs his flurry of blows flawlessly but his wounds seem to make his strikes less effective as they do not hurt the bounty hunters this time.
BH2 shoots again at Kagor point blank.

The shot hits but doesn't inflict enough damage to bypass the Jedi's armor.
Gotal is up!
Kagore |
Kagore focused and ran at the last Bounty hunter standing thrusting his body and fist forward is a Tera Kasi strike at the man.
Reducing 1D from attack to add to damage.

Kagor slams his fist into the last Bounty Hunters armored face cracking the helm and laying the man out cold!
As the battle dies down the crowd grows around your group and the leader of the Oasis steps forward.
"You have saved our people. We are in your debt my friends."
You can hear whispers from the crowd "Is that a jedi?"
Kagore |
Kagore clutches his side as the final man falls wincing in pain as he staggers over to Gotal and Rufus. He looks over to the leader and grumbles. "One of you should do the talkin, I'm liable to get us thrown out into the desert if I speak."
It might just be the pain speaking but Kagore seems quite annoyed at how these BH got here so easily and found their tent.
Gotal of Umbara |
Gota nods to Kagore, "Rest my friend. I shall visit you later as I can assist you with that injury".
Gotal de-ignites his lightsaber and approaches the Oasis Leader, "You owe us no debt, you aid travelers and your assistance given to us as well as other travelers is reward enough. Tell me, have you an idea why these Bounty Hunters would come here?"
Life Sense Are any of these BH alive? 3d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 5) = 10
Rufus Griller |
Rufus holsters his blaster and accepts the accolades with all the aplomb he can muster, which is, of course, not much. He waves to the crowd and grins widely. Then when he hears others whispering if Gotal was a Jedi, he shakes his head vehemently.
"What? No! Are you kidding? He just has a long stick... that reflected the moonlight... And there was a bunch of desert locusts that were buzzing near the bounty hunters... that made the humming noise... so you see, it's all a perfectly understandable... misunderstanding."
Con: 3d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3, 5) + 1 = 11
The Force |
"We wanted... to know... what Jodo Kast... found out... from these... natives..."
