Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Kagore keeps his rifle trained on the rats all around them. "I'll cover the withdraw, if they rush us get to the speeder as fast as you can."

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

Rufus starts to back up in the direction of the speeder. "Okay, why did we come here again? Should we ask one of these critters if they've seen Mr. Tallon?"

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Kagore keeps on hand on his rifle the other on a detonator object attached to his belt just in case of emergency. He backed slowly toward the door ready to hold the trigger on the rifle. "Its a lead. Safety first though and we'll figure out what to do next."

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

Gotal backs away as well, blaster up to tackle any threats that may lunge at the group.

As he backs away he will use Life Detection to ascertain if anyone is actually IN this ruined building, besides hordes of womprats.

Sense 3d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 3) = 8

"This was last place I knew he would be but obviously things have changed. The Wastes ain’t safe to travel after dark, and I certainly don’t want to camp out in those awful ruins. There’s a place I know that will put us up for the night, and some people there may be able to provide us with some information. It’s called the Oasis and, if we hurry, we should make it there before Second Twilight."

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

"Well then Old Arno...lets not waste any more time. We need to get back on track." Kagore will get back in the speeder once they get outside and prepare to leave looking around one more time for any clues.

Arno explains the Oasis is a religious community situated in the middle of nowhere. The Dim-U, as the priests call themselves, came to Tatooine aboard the original colony ship, along with the first settlers (although the original priests have died out). On Tatooine, as on hundreds of other planets, they came to help establish the world and expand their religion.

You come to find a small town fighting to survive in the endless desert, far from larger cities. A number of dwellings, built in the distinct Tatooine manner, huddle together with several moisture farms to make up Oasis.

The priests welcome you when you enter their settlement. "As the familiar Bantha welcomed us to this world after our long journey, so we welcome you."

Rufus some of these men look sort of familiar to you from the market when you first got into town.

It is not after dark when you arrive to the settlement.

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

"Thank you Father. We seek sanctuary for the night, where can we find that here?"

The priest nods. "Come with us to the main hall. There you will find food and shelter."

Along the way you see farmers quitting work for the night, children playing atop huge Banthas, and other members of the community engaged in various activities.

At the main hall a man approaches your party and introduces himself a Dryon the high priest. He looks very similar to the street preacher in Mos Eisley, except he is cleaner, neater, and wears better clothes.

He greets you with "As I told the others earlier, Oasis doesn’t ask for names or explanations. Like the humble Bantha, we simply greet newcomers and offer what aid we can to make life easier upon this suns-scorched ball."

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

"Thats great but what we really could use is some information. Does anyone else live out here that you know of in the dunes? Maybe a sort who keeps to himself?"

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

Rufus hops out of the speeder and spreads his arms wide. "Well, if it isn't the messengers of the great bantha in the sky!"

His lopsided grin is wide as he humors the folks and their ways. "I heard your message in Mos Eisley; the bantha shows the way, right? Just watch where you step if you're right behind him."

When Kagore asks bluntly, he folds his arms and nods in agreement.

Dryon shakes his head. "We can only offer you hospitality. The night is upon us stay the night and you may head back on your journey in the morning."

Arno nods "This is a good idea mates. We don't' want to be traveling at night in the desert."

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Kagore growls his annoyance. He leans in to the other two rebels and whispers. "I'll keep first watch tonight just in case there is any more unexpected ambushes from bounty hunters or other things. I'm also going to look around some before we settle in." He turns back to Arno giving him a hard look. "Come morning you better have some idea of where to go and not just be leading us on a wild goose chase trying to get us killed otherwise I'll start to suspect your just another trap laid by the bounty hunters to send us in circles. So far I am less than impressed."

Arno looks taken aback.

"Is he always this grumpy?" he says to the rest of the group.

Many of the members of the Oasis make their way into the big tent your in as things settle down outside and they sing and play. Many ask your group of your great adventurers not being from here and show much interest in your stories.

Kagor make a Perception check as your keeping watch.

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Kagore grumps with all the professional grumpiness of an old soldier. He doesn't reply to Arno though as he settles down to pass the night.
Perception: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 6, 1) = 13

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

Gotal sleeps lightly attempting to use a force trance instead of assume full sleep.

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

Rufus can't help but ham it up during the storytelling, making sure to embellish his tales. When it's time for sleep, he beds down and begins snoring loudly.

Kagor you see five men skulking in the shadows toward the tent dropping their surprise attack on the settlement. They do see you so you do not get the drop on them either. You can warn the group OR take action against them by rolling init.

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

So I don't get a stealth or anything? Could I not both warn the group by shouting and attacking them? If required it could be two actions per the dice reduction rules.

There is a lot of chatter in the tent with the party inside and such so shouting may or may not have the affect your looking for in warning them. You can roll stealth but will need to take some action this round as you can tell they are about to do some type of attack.

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

The reason Stealth is a big deal is due to my character's special silent strike maneuver. The only issue is its been so long since I last did combat now I have to relearn the rules for this game...
Stealth: 6d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 1, 2, 5) = 22

Like a shadow Kagore slide through the night as he spotted the men, attempt to come up behind them at close range. His palm cocked back and attempted to silently knock the last one in line out without making a sound.

(If attacking from behind their static defense is lowered.)
Silent Strike: 6d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 6, 5, 3, 5) = 26
Silent Strike Damage: 7d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 6, 5, 1, 5) = 25

Assuming this drops the enemy unconscious, Kagore catches them before they hit the ground. He will attempt to do this again until he is noticed or he has taken all the men out. If they start firing on the camp before he completely neutralizes them all he will go into a flurry of martial arts strikes to try to take them out(in the initiative order.)

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

Nice Kagore!

Forgot your stealth machine! The enemies are grouped in close quarters moving in together so you will drop one but they will see you right after

Kagore the silent killer drops one of the Bounty Hunters before they are even aware what was going on and as soon as their ally falls a smoke grenade is launched into the tent.

Your peaceful evening ends abruptly as a window shatters and a smoke grenade crashes against the far wall. Dark, noxious smoke quickly fills the hall, and people begin to rush from the building.

The other Bounty Hunters turn their blasters toward Kagore!

Not stopping, as he lands he charges the next man jumping to bring a knee into his gut before bouncing away to bring a viscous hook at the last man pointing a gun his way.

BH1 - 16
BH2 - 13
Rufus - 11
BH3 - 10
Gotal - 8

Rufus you are up! You hear gun fire from right outside the tent. You could run out and take a shot at enemy as you see them at -1D for 2 actions.

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

"That doesn't sound good!" Rufus shouts as he hears the whine of blaster bolts. Drawing his own blaster as he runs outside to escape the smoke, he snaps off a shot at one of the figures attacking the compound.

Blaster: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 5) = 15
damage: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 5, 3) = 16

Rufus shot strikes BH3 stunning his opponent!

BH3 looking a bit taken about by the glancing shot turns to see Rufus and takes a shot at the Pilot! "Blasted!"

attack: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 5, 1) = 11
damage: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 2, 4) = 14
Shot goes wide just barely missing Rufus!

Gotal your up! Same situation as Rufus you have to run out using 1 action and then can take another action at -1D.

Round 1
Kagor - 17 (Wounded -1D)
BH1 - 16
BH2 - 13
Rufus - 11
BH3 - 10 (Stunned -1D)

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

Round 1

Gotal stands, after all he was not sleeping simply using the Force as his guide.

Seeing the smoke rising from Kagore's wound he knows the time has come from inside his robe his lightsaber leaps into his hand as he leaps into action the blue blade flashes out striking on of the Bounty Hunters with its brilliance.

Lightsaber Attack 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 1, 6) = 16
Lightsaber Damage 5d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 6, 6, 4) = 21

Gotal charges out Lightsaber blazing! When the Lightsaber ignites the hum turns the natives eyes his way in amazement. Scared children and their parents eyes turn to hope and amazement at the sight.

He swings wide and the blade strikes through the Bounty Hunters armor like it wasn't even there downing the man!

Round 2
*Kagor - 17 (Wounded -1D)
BH2 - 13
Rufus - 11
BH3 - 10 (Stunned -1D)
Gotal - 8

Kagor your up!

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Kagore grunts in pain as he takes a couple blasts at close range but is relieved when he sees Gotal leap into the fray lightsaber ignited. Fighting through the pain Kagore unleash another two unarmed attacks on both BH.

-2D total including wounds

Martial art attack: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 1, 4) = 16
Damage: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 2, 1) = 8

Martial art attack: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 6, 6) = 14
Damage: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 5, 3) = 13

Kagors grunt and performs his flurry of blows flawlessly but his wounds seem to make his strikes less effective as they do not hurt the bounty hunters this time.

BH2 shoots again at Kagor point blank.

attack: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 2, 4, 2) = 15
damage: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 1, 1) = 12
The shot bounces off Kagore's armor!

Rufus up!

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

Rufus sights along the barrel of his pistol and takes a shot at the stunned bounty hunter.

damage: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 6) = 13 +4 for exceptional hit.
The shot hits but doesn't inflict enough damage to bypass the Jedi's armor.

Gotal is up!

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

Round 2

Gotal spins towards BH 3 with his lightsaber looking to end the fight quickly.

Lightsaber Attack 5d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 6, 2) = 21
Lightsaber Damage 5d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 4, 5, 2) = 17

The blazing lightsaber makes short work of the bounty hunter!

Round 3
*Kagor - 17 (Wounded -1D)
BH2 - 13
Rufus - 11
Gotal - 8

Kagor up!

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Kagore focused and ran at the last Bounty hunter standing thrusting his body and fist forward is a Tera Kasi strike at the man.

Reducing 1D from attack to add to damage.

Attack to hit: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 6) = 18
Damage: 5d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 5, 4, 3) = 24

Kagor slams his fist into the last Bounty Hunters armored face cracking the helm and laying the man out cold!

As the battle dies down the crowd grows around your group and the leader of the Oasis steps forward.

"You have saved our people. We are in your debt my friends."

You can hear whispers from the crowd "Is that a jedi?"

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Kagore clutches his side as the final man falls wincing in pain as he staggers over to Gotal and Rufus. He looks over to the leader and grumbles. "One of you should do the talkin, I'm liable to get us thrown out into the desert if I speak."

It might just be the pain speaking but Kagore seems quite annoyed at how these BH got here so easily and found their tent.

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

Gota nods to Kagore, "Rest my friend. I shall visit you later as I can assist you with that injury".

Gotal de-ignites his lightsaber and approaches the Oasis Leader, "You owe us no debt, you aid travelers and your assistance given to us as well as other travelers is reward enough. Tell me, have you an idea why these Bounty Hunters would come here?"

Life Sense Are any of these BH alive? 3d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 5) = 10

One of the bounty hunters isn't dead the last one Kagore hit. A female human.

Dryon looks to Gotal. "I do not know why they would attack here. No one ever attacks the oasis."

The female bounty hunter groans "Kill me..."

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

Gotal kneels down to the female Bounty Hunter, "Tell me why it is you struck this place of peace with your violence?"

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

Rufus holsters his blaster and accepts the accolades with all the aplomb he can muster, which is, of course, not much. He waves to the crowd and grins widely. Then when he hears others whispering if Gotal was a Jedi, he shakes his head vehemently.

"What? No! Are you kidding? He just has a long stick... that reflected the moonlight... And there was a bunch of desert locusts that were buzzing near the bounty hunters... that made the humming noise... so you see, it's all a perfectly understandable... misunderstanding."

Con: 3d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3, 5) + 1 = 11

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Lol Rufus how do you explain a stick that cut people open that is no longer there xD

Kagore looks around at these people suspiciously and moves over to the BH that Gotal is questioning.

"Answer his question young lady. Who sent you here?"

"We wanted... to know... what Jodo Kast... found out... from these... natives..."

She falls back unconscious.

Dryon looks to the group. "I could offer them nothing but hospitality the same as I offer everyone."

If you search the BH bodies you find the following.
Force Pike (Str+2D Dmg)
5 Blaster Pistol (4D Dmg)
2 Blaster Rifles (5D Dmg)
4 Grenades (5D Dmg)
2 Set of Blast Armor (+4 Protection) [Rest of them are destroyed]
Thermal Detonator (10D Dmg)
Knife (Str+1D Dmg)
Stun Cloak (Used to wrap around victims, 5D Stun damage)

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

Gotal turns to Dryon, "Do you remember meeting with Jodo Kast? More of these Hunters may well come here if we are not able to resolve a situation at hand..."
