You have been selected from various divisions of the Imperial Army to form a new commando unit to spearhead battles, investigate rebel sleeper cells, and control and react to rebel terrorism in the core worlds.

It's alright about the light confusion. I figured soldiers would have had in their kit something to produce light, and something to produce ambient light, since typical units like theirs would likely have glowsticks at least. So either or. I thought the glow rods worked better in the Star Wars Universe anyway. :)

Calahan, I hope you still see this as enjoyable. I really don't want this to degenerate into PvP. I figure this is the abrasive side of Calahan's personality, rubbing an officer up the wrong way.

Sorry for the slow posts everybody. I'm on holidays and while I thought I'd have more time I've found my self quite busy running around with my family.

@ Tè, are you trying to bring those droids along?

Lantern Lodge

Half-Elf Inquisitive 2/ Seeker 3

Of Course! They have not been destroyed, so they'd be handy for distraction or added firepower.

Ok I'm looking for some honest feedback. This is a game and I want to do my best to make sure people are having fun. To that end:

1)Are you having fun?

2)What could I do to improve the game/make it more fun for you?

3)Any other comments are welcome.

Again I apologise for my slack posting rate over the last few weeks.

Human Scout 5

I'm liking it. I dig the squad combat, though I wouldn't want every mission to be the same. As for improvement, I don't really have any suggestions, though I'll think on it and see what I come up with.

I'm having fun :) I like the squad interactions and coordinated combat themes, it's nice to have someone barking at you ;)

Improvements? I'm drawing a blank there though I share James's view on wanting a variety of missions. RPG's can get stale if they start to look to much like shooters.

hey, i got me a missle launcher. Me-sa happy!

im digging the game so far. i liked how you threw in the arms-dealer, definitely added a twist.

I would just point out that this is a SPECOPS team, and the main goal for specops is to do the jobs that a normal person cannot do. SPECOPS is the razor's edge of the attacking spear. The list of objectives that any specops force has are: intel gathering, high value target extraction, scouting/recon, guerrilla tactics, psychological warfare, and main force support.

While there maybe alot of shooting right now (since we did just invade the planet) i am sure that we will need to infiltrate some things without being seen, such as this big tower where the rebel generals are at. It would be easier to avoid detection and confrontation than a direct assault.

just my 2 cents...

Of course, a botched roll or a lucky check could get us spotted and we'll have to fight enough to hide again... Don't worry so much about the missions, I think.. There's bound to be a couple different varieties that we'll run into -- and likely solve in a manner you weren't expecting. I like that you roll with some of the responses, rather than just saying "no, you can't do that."

I am still waiting to hear what Cap has to say about the droids, though. =D

Hey me'mori, you are not going to believe this. Ianthe Jack was a PC in a rifts campaign back in 09. I was going through some of my old notes that i rediscovered, and i saw your jack's name pop up. So i dug into my old postings and lo and behold, in 09 jack was a coalition dog pack member.

Pity that I had to cancel that campaign because of training exercises. I had it planned out that the group was going to go leave from the old location of St louis and travel like lewis and clark to the ocean.

Yeah, she was once upon a time.. I'm not a fan of creating many aliases, so I just reuse the unused ones, or the ones that have been idle for a long while.

Heads up. I'm going out of town for the weekend, I'll be offline from Friday to late Sunday (GMT).

Really sorry but I'm going to finish this up now. I've basically been burnt out since I took a month off work in march to have surgery. Ever since then I've been playing catch up at work with not a moment between jobs to do more than eat and when I get home in the evenings I'm exhausted, lacking the creative energy to write anything for the game. Once again I'm really sorry to let you all down like this.

Human Scout 5

Bummer, but I understand. When you're stressed, something has to give and it's better it be a PbP versus, you know, relationships or jobs. I hope the surgery was successful and that things at work calm down and get back to manageable levels of crazy. Take care!
