Star Wars: Chronicles is a Star Wars RPG campaign using the Edge of the Empire/Age of Rebellion/Force and Destiny rules from Fantasy Flight Games (https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/#/universe/star-wars).

The concept of this campaign is episodic (taking place after the Battle of Yavin, during the time of the Episode 4-6 movies), similar to the style of the Star Wars: Rebels television series. The characters will be making a living for themselves any way they can as well as taking the odd job from the Rebel Alliance to further the aims of the Rebellion.

the other ship, MonCal freighter is the one that is shooting tie pilots. Rann is right on top of your sword right now, maybe he can get it if you dont want to burn the two maneuvers.

My thoughts on the plan: get the freighter and the shuttle out of there quick! Prepare a B-Wing for launch as fighter cover while we prepare for light speed escape. Maybe someone blow up the TIEs still in the bay as we leave?

What would blowing up the remaining TIEs involve? It is certainly a good idea to make it as difficult as possible for them to pursue us.

depending on timing you may not need to blow them up as the whole station is about to go up. Unless a pilot shows up and gets it going before the explosion.

Whoops, wasn't clear. Plan is to leave the door open until we're cleared to go after the freighter flies off. Not risking our lives for them, but giving the ones near us a shot, if they want to take it.

Sigh... Since this is not exactly good news, I may as well do it the band aid way.

It seems work and real life have gotten quite busy indeed as of late, leaving me with far less time and energy than expected. This unfortunately leads me to the conclusion that I am lagging behind in my various games much more than I am comfortable with. And it does not seem as if it will be improving any time soon. So I have to cut down on the number of PbPs I am in and withdraw from some of them lest all of them perish.

This is one of those games.

So please remove any aliases of mine from the Current Characters roster so the campaign goes to the Previous Campaigns list.

I thank you for all the fun and I do sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this brings to the GM and my fellow players.

Right-o. I read on the starship (and vehicle) combat section, and on a double triumph, I'm confused as to what to do.

Is it possible to fly extremely closely to the ship's bridge, scaring the commander and crew absolutely s+~*less? I think I still have a shooting action too, iirc.

Other ideas would include managing to position the shuttle in an incredibly vulnerable and hard to reach spot, such as looking at a gap in shield generation or engine power.

Ideas?

Hi Thrask, there's still turrets on the freighter that haven't been fired, even if you're only GG you could still have a go at point blank, the worst you could do is miss!

If Djebelle fancied making an inspiring speech (Fire Discipline) then she could give you a boost!

Well that adventure is over, nice job. At this point you can all take 35 xp to do what you will, some of you had left over xp also.

You have at least 2 days and as long as you want at the RP so if you want to do or mod anything feel free (RP in the game thread also if you like)

you have no ships but depending on what you decide to do next we will fix that issue. So before we figure out rewards and duty/obligation change lets answer that question.

Would you rather head down the path of more active rebellion oriented special operations activity (which may include direct action, espionage, etc) or head out on your own to travel the galaxy taking odd jobs and looking for wealth (ala firefly/serenity)? Every character and player has different motivations for what they are looking for in a game. now is your chance to set a trajectory for the campaign. Also no reason we cant change directions later on or even blend both as warrior-merchants.

Awesome! If I had my choice, I'd say a blend. One definite benefit is that makes more material available for GM Xyro to use.

I'd take one of the ships. Don't know if we can get the shuttle or not, but I've taken a look at it, and it's a fairly good ship, all around. Maybe a bit too imperial, however.

Count this as another vote for blend.

Well there's no reason why Aneira can't stay active for the Rebels and go 'undercover' in order to find out what's happening throughout the galaxy then feed back intelligence reports, and the team can still take Rebellion sponsored jobs after all!

So happy to go with a blend of both :)

XP-wise, Aneira will pick up 'Anatomy Lessons' and 'Force Rating' from the Shadow specialization tree for a total of 50 xp, leaving her with 0 in the bank.

A vote from me for a blend as both types of story as well. I see Aristi as being a bit torn when it comes to active participation in the Rebellion. On the one hand, he has no love for the Imperials, especially since they offed his sister. At the same time, he has obligations to his parents' trading concerns and I figure they would suffer if his involvement with rebels were to become public knowledge. And I reckon he has anger at the Rebellion for allowing his sister to be killed. At least, I reckon that's his position now, but he could be persuaded one way or another to bring him in line with the group's interests - maybe Ackbar can help him see past those barriers?

Both would work fine for me as Thrask, but he'd lean more towards the bounty hunter styling that striking out on their own bit.

Same here - I'm not going to be much use in pure combat type situations, so something where we have other options works for me.

Right, regarding XP, I'm currently at 225/270. I'm tempted to use the 45 to get Tinkerer and Dedication, but I'm just going to ask about unbalancing the combats, since 6 Agility is quite high. Not that the last combat went terribly well for poor ol' Juviest, though...

I could also get a rank in Medicine and a rank in Mechanics instead of the Dedication.


Can't decide on what to spend xp on. I'll have it done by Friday.

You already have tinkerer, unless you can get it again from another source.

a 6 agility would make you a little unbalanced in ranged combat, that combined with your modified weapons you tend to do more damage than the rest of the team. I am okay with it if the rest of the group is not feeling like they are being out shined. Though you may start drawing more fire also...<evil GM laugh>

At 7:15 am today, they walked me out of my place of employment. My new job is finding another job, and until then, I don't have time for all my side projects. I'm going to try and keep this game going, I like the character and the group, and frankly playing takes less time than GMing. I just wanted to post this because some of you are in other games of mine, and I wanted to make things clear - as mud.
