Silver Crusade

Lacking in funds, a stern looking dwarf idly flips a silver coin while waiting for her fellow Pathfinders to return from their shopping trips. Despite her otherwise warm looking clothing, she only wears one glove, and the exposed hand has a birthmark shaped like a butterfly.

Once her comrades are present, she says "Name's Three," before returning her attention to her coin flipping.

“I have a routine mission for you, though a dangerous routine mission.” Venture-Captain Drandle Dreng whispered to you. This old man in the great hall of the Grand Lodge had seen better days. You heard he was sick during the last few days, and the lack of sleep and food had taken its toll on him. "Ah, mister Chalfion, back for another mission? Haha!" Dreng winks at the Taldor noble.

"An ally of ours in the Land of the Linnorm Kings—Rognvald Skagni—is writing a lengthy report on the state of government in the northern countries of Avistan. I received a letter from him just yesterday requesting several key documents from the vaults here to help him finish the report." Right on que, a pair of agents carried a large, heavy chest and gently dropped it at his feet. "These are the documents, and I need you to board a ship north to deliver them to
Skagni. Here, take this key."

The man struggled to stand up and handed one of you a key, as well as a small pouch. "The key opens the chest, and the gold in this pouch will buy you passage and get you from the Linnorm coast to Trollheim, where Skagni resides. Whatever you do, do not let the chest out of your sight and do not, under any circumstances, allow it to be searched. These documents are for Mr. Skagni’s eyes
only."

"Take care, it's cold up there!" He coughs some more and then waits for any questions you may have.

The chest is about 2 feet wide, 4 feet long and 3 feet deep. It's made of oak bound with iron and locked with an enourmous steel lock. It weighs about 100 pounds.

Feel free to buy items and equipment from Absalom or Trollheim.

In walks a man of rigid posture and stern countenance. He stands just under 2 meters in height, but is thin of frame. He is undoubtedly of Osiriani birth (and indeed his Taldane is slightly accented.) His pate is shaved clean, though he sports a meticulously maintained mustache and Vandyke beard. His clothes, obviously tailored, have the flowing fit of a desert dweller, but they are in rich black cloth of Vudrani styling. Racing throughout the folds and seams are cerulean highlights. His jewelry is simple, yet the quantity stands in contrast to the otherwise plain garb. Both his ears are pierced with gold and his fingers each bear simple golden rings.

This is Nemis.

The psychic is ready to go with recently purchased cold weather clothes.

Profile is all up to date. Posting multiple times per day is pretty easy for me.

A stout woman stands idly by the door. She seems pretty dirty but smells of wood and moss. Splinters of wood are tangled in her dark hair. She looks at the other persons in the room and bares her teeth, letting out a snarl, as an animal would do. When she does so, you see that her canines are more developed than most human's and seem to have been through a lot of whetting. She carries a big Orc Double Axe in her back.
You can sense she struggles to understand the words spoken by each of you as she blinks excessively her eyes, as if it could help her to understand what is going on. She eventually opens her mouth, but close it again immediately, interrupted by Chalfon Dalsine. She wrinkles her eyes and says in a high pitched voice to Dalsine:

About a month later, the party finally locates Skagni's home in Trollheim. Some of this is due to Venture-Captain Dreng's terrible writing, and some of this is due to unhelpful townspeople. It seems like no one really wants to speak of Skagni, often ignoring the questions or telling you they weren't involved.

It becomes clear why no one wants to talk about Skagni: his home has been burnt to the ground. Bits of burnt timber and ruined furniture lie scattered about, but if anything remained after the fire, it seems to have been picked over and looted. Though most of the walls are blackened with soot, a patch along the former front of the residence still shows relatively clean, white walls. Smeared across those white walls, written in reddish-brown letters four feet tall, are the words, “Pathfinders go home.”

Feel free to make Heal and Perception checks as you investigate the ruins. I have updated the map to show Skagni's house.

Marduk, stunt by the assault, answers with a furry of lashings at the thug in front of her, the eyes gone mad.

Marduk slices Yellow once, but the rest of her flurry misses the mark. Three finishes him off with a longspear stab.

Thanks to the blessing of Desna, Brunhilde gets her axe through Tan's armor, felling the man.

Gray's Will Save vs Daze: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (15) - 1 = 14
Gray seems momentarily stunned by something Goupil did.

Nemis thinks about throwing some debris at the Tan thug before realizing Brunhilde took him out.

Waiting on Roscoe. Nemis, your target is down so you can do something else.

13 damage hadn't downed Tan (10+2 from my first round attack +1) from Nemis? Cause if so Brunhilde would prefer to attack Mr. blue

Tan had more than 13 HP and barely survived the assault. You needed another hit to take him down.

Nemis pelts Brown with a rock.
Roscoe and George attack in tandem, but only George's claw is able to score a solid hit.

The leader picks up his throwing axe and hurls it at Brunhilde.
Leader vs Brunhilde: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 - 4 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 - 4 = 10
Crit Bonus Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Surprisingly, the leader's axe manages to bypass Brunhilde's shield and nail her forearm.

Brown vs Roscoe: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Brown seems to aim well, but Roscoe's defenses are too good.

Gray seems to spend his time shaking off something Goupil did to him and takes no action against Marduk.

Round 2
Brunhilde
Three
Goupil
Nemis
Thugs (Leader 10 unarmed, Blue, Brown 9, Gray)
Roscoe
Marduk (7 damage)

Round 3
Brunhilde (5 damage)
Three
Goupil
Nemis

Everyone's up for round 3.
