I may have found the issue. It looks like it was a setting on my Google drive that needed to be changed. Can anyone add anything to the board or make changes now? I am still fairly new to using this program in a group setting so I apologies for the difficulties.

Usually google drive. I am unfortunately in an odd situation where my work blocks it and my phone can't handle it. If I can work by a vague description and then I'll describe how I want to move then that would be great


Upon working your way past the crowds you find several towns people being attacked by these creatures that have a very bug like appearance but with to sets of bat like wings. Two of the creatures have already been severely wounded and possibly killed. There bodies lie unmoving near the southern portion of the tiny park area. Near the unmoving carcass on the east side of the park a man sits stunned having nearly been stabbed by the dead things nearly foot long beak having been saved by the timely intervention of an arrow. Just a little ways from the southern opening to the park along the edge of the stone fence on the east side of the park are two men being attacked by one of the creatures. one of the men is much older and seems to be unarmed mostly trying to shoo or distract the creature with his cloak while the other carrying a sword and shield is taking great pains to kill the creature he may be one of the sheriff's deputies.

Nearer the middle of the park are a man and woman each fending off one of the creatures with improvised weapons. The woman is currently using a wooden bucket to defend herself while the man is swinging a wooden rake both seem to be barely holding there own against the monsters.

Finally there is a child on the steps of the gazebo who is throwing rocks at one of the beasts while a dog most likely the one you heard initially is leaping and snapping at the creature as it flits about. they seem to have the creature at bay for the moment.

Ileana's gaze took in the child on the steps of the gazebo and a fierce look came into her eyes and over her face. Her taloned hands clenched, the dagger held in one, and she began to move swiftly toward the child (moving in a relatively straight line forward, dodging any bodies/objects, keeping out of the way of the two immediate flying creatures) to get to the child and provide aid/defend her as the barking dog was doing.

Acrobatics (DC 14): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

Double move to reach child? 60 ft? I moved Ileana's token to the foot of the stairs, but GM can correct if it is wrong.

Her expression cold, save for a slight frown of concentration, Drusilla quickened her pace, matching here sister's, then pushing a bit further. These creatures were clearly unnatural, though to what extent she couldn't be sure. The changeling girl's focus was pure, her vision clear. She would let none of them hurt Ileana. Her knuckles were nearly white as she clutched the dagger in her hand tighter, her nails digging into her palm. Standing next to her sister, she readied to fend of any creatures that threatened her.

Acrobatics (DC 14): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

Double move as well, to stand between Ileana and the nearby creature, in full defence if possible

Bah! Wasted crit...:P

I'll just move as far as I can, which is difficult to see since I believe I'm still on the edge of the map.

Kitch does a double move to get as close to the middle of the park as he can while staying out of the range of the creatures. He doesn't have a weapon on him but if he could get close to all of them then at least he could provide some aid to the others in the party.

Can you move me this round please Narrater? Kith is trying to get close to the center. Double move will be 60 feet right?


The twins move together and rush to the aid of the young boy who appears to be no older then 5 or 6 he is dirty as if he has been playing in the mud and is carrying on throwing stones at the creature with the reckless bravery of youth. Your movement stirs up the creature who had been focused on the man wielding a rake and the flying beast attempts to strike at the two of you as you pass. Drusilla to keep up with Ileana you would need to forgo fighting defensively but you will be in position to defend your sister. Its unfortunate since it would have made the difference.

Enemy Attack:
Touch attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

With Ileana's focus on the child one of the beasts attempts to slip in but is intercepted by Drusilla as she moves her body to intercept the attack. Leaving her to wrestle with the creature as it attempts to stick its long beak past armor into flesh. It doesn't seem to have any form of Improved Grapple so I am going to give you an attack of opportunity if unsuccessful or you don't kill it in one hit you will take one con damage at the end of the turn and may make grapple or escape artist check DC17 to escape etc next turn.

Kith moves towards the park but has a little difficulty climbing over the stone wall which takes several moments to get past slowing your advance Your character is a little ways from the action about 25 feet from the nearest enemy and close to 40 feet from the twins. I am uncertain how close you are looking to be so let me know.

Sera forgoes shooting with her bow to move closer to combat but the weight of her armor and the press of the crowd makes progress painfully slow. With a double move you are 100 feet from the edge of the board you can attempt to make a acrobatics check next round if you wish to run and get into the fight faster.

Harold I moved your character up since you haven't made any adjustments last round if your still having issues moving your piece please let me know. I am waiting on you at this point to finish off the round.

Question: I see myself on the map but have I moved already this round (since you moved me)? If so, just count this as my next action. Moving toward the stirge east of my character.

Harold growls at the over-sized flying mosquitoes, a deep bass that reverberates through the immediate area. The big man goes running toward one of the creatures, his fists raised up in a boxer's pose, as he lets fly with a vicious jab that parts the air with a thwump.

Unarmed Attack vs Stirge: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Ileana, seeing that the child was unharmed, called out to him "Run home, now. Through the back of the gazebo."

Growling at the sight of the flying creature attacking her twin, Ileana took a 5 ft step up onto the first step of the gazebo, raised her arm, poised her dagger and struck the creature on its underbelly.

Attack with dagger: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Damage, if hits: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

GM I have a move of 40, does that make a difference? If not ignore the attack below as Drusilla just flails defensively for show

Noticing Ileana act just a split second quicker, Drusilla almost cracks a smile, and a greater calm comes over her.
Taking the moving creature as a threat to her sister, the young wildgirl swipes out with the knife in her hand, a cold calm on her features.

Attack with dagger: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Damage, if it hits: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Kith moves into the center of the area trying to get into a spot where his words will reach all his new friends. Then he starts singing to inspire their courage. Inspire Courage on everybody within 30 feet

I'll run and get to the fight quicker, to take less ranged penalties.


Because of some actions that would have happened last round I will do some creative adjustments to what was outlined and we will start next round right with Ileana, Sera and Harold going then the monsters and then rest of the party.

Harold's deftly moves to the flying beast picking his moment to strike at the monster's bug like creature who was currently occupied by the dog's wild lunges unfortunately one of the dogs wild attacks stirred the beast to move just high enough to leave Harold swinging at air the moment he chooses to swing. The action alerts the beast as it turns to face this new foe. I believe this would have been last rounds actions to compensate you for losing the turn I am placing you at the top of the Initiative order as if you had used the delay action.

With its progress curtailed the creature begins to clamp onto Drusilla and try's to stab the young woman of the wild. However Drusilla's reflexes honed with time spent traveling dangerous lands react on reflex her mailed hand sweeps the probing stinger to the side as her other hand finds its mark with the knife and the creature is still. Leaving Drusilla only a moment behind her sister.Your attack of opportunity was successful and did enough damage to kill it.

The child seems to hesitate for a heart beat at Ileana's order but decides to obey after weighing the excitement of fighting real live monsters against facing the prospect of getting "it" from an angry adult.

Seeing that the child was obeying and that her twin had handily dispatched her attacker Ileana continued forward to face off against the flying beast that had been endangering the child and was still attacking the dog. With economical movements Ileana closes the distance between herself and the bug taking advantage of its distracted state as it turns to face Harold Ileana jams her dagger into the creatures side with both hands before pulling it free the creature try's to stay aloft but can't put any strength behinds its flaps and is soon in the waiting jaws of the dog.

Sera as you leg it towards the fighting the crowds seem to open to allow you to pass. You hear voices in the crowd talking about your skill with the bow but you pay it little mind as you make your way to within spitting distance of the entrance of the small park. you are now 20 feet from the edge of the board. Everything should be well within the first range increment.

Kith you move to centralized position and begin to sing your voice reaches out and seems to touch there very being. Those close to you seem to stand a little straighter as they face the creatures. The flying monsters on the other hand seem to be becoming very agitated. So every one within 30 feet of Kith gains a +1 to charm and fear as well as a +1 to attack and damage.

Is the flying creature by Harold, Ileana and dog still alive then? Or did the dog finish it off?

If that flying creature is still alive...

Ileana drew her dagger once more struck the flying creature now in the dog's maw.

Attack with dagger plus inspire courage: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 2 + 1 = 19
Damage, if hits: 1d4 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 = 6

If it is dead, then Ileana will move 20 ft to stand opposite the man fighting the other flying creature (centre of map) and attack it. She would get +2 to hit due to flanking.

Without his spear and so unable to join the attack Kith keeps up his performance.


Yes I was waiting on Harold and Sera to do there actions and then the beasties and then you and Drusilla would be up.

Do I need to change how I am relaying information or something else because It seems that I am laying out what is happening and how things are going and it is being ignored or over looked. Not counting the last clarification since I did give mixed signals by not marking it on the map that was my bad and I can own up to it. Are people loosing interest or something?

Harold spits at the dead carcass of the giant blood-sucker before spinning and going after another of the buggers. He rushes past Kith to swing at another stirge.

Sera keeps running towards the battle. (I'd ideally like a range boost from PBS).


Ileana Glides past Kith her dress just brushing the bard as she passes, When nearly to the flying pest she pushes off on her right foot to turn unexpectedly and lunges with her dagger leading. Her other hand pushes at the pummel to drive the thrust home with force killing the creature on the spot.

Harold reacts to the elimination of the nearest threat by sprinting into the last enemy who seemed to have turned its attention to Kith. However before it could even move in that direction the full force of Harold's large frame and running charge ends its existence as the half orc leaves the ground for several heart beats his rear foot swinging around to swat the giant bug like creature from the air to land with a sickening crunch at the feet of the two astonished townsfolk.
That ends the combat.

The immediate situation is handled however the town is still reacting to the fuss as the news takes time to travel to everyone within the minute the sheriff can be seen running to the square with two deputies. Hands on the hilts of there weapons but blades as yet undrawn as they push there way to the front of the crowds that are surging back some to observe the carnage others to lend aid where they can.
How does your group wish to proceed.

I will try to keep your suggestion in mind Kith but I did have the general Initiative order laid out OOC at the top of the page that ended the previous round. Unless your thinking about placing it in list form or some thing similar on each end of round summary.

Panting with relief after his long run, followed by singing to aid his friends, Kith catches his breath and moves to talk to the sheriff.

Thank Goodness you're here. Those... those things were attacking people. Sera, Illena, Harold, and Drusilla took care of all of them. he looks a bit flustered. I didn't even have my spear on me so I couldn't do much

Looking about her for more of the flying creatures, Ileana noted they were all dead and watched as the town's sheriff and his two men entered the square.

"Sheriff Caeller, it is good to see you. Are there more of these creatures in the town? We have put down the ones here, as you can see. How many of the townsfolk were injured?"

Ileana wiped her blade on the grass - cleaning the obvious guts and gore of the creatures and then slipped her knife back inside her boot.

Narrater:
I just remembered that Ileana has the Tongues curse and can only speak Terran in times of stress/unease (like combat). Dru can understand her, but when I had Ileana yell at the boy to run, I'd forgotten about the curse and had her say it in Common. Sorry. I'll remember in future.

Sera runs up and meets up with the Sheriff and everyone else present, still rather breathless at shoving through the crowd. After checking her arrows to see if they were still useful, she makes a note to restock before finally listening in to what everyone had to say.

Drusilla stood next to her sister as she talked. The fight was over, and her newly discovered sibling was unharmed. A feeling of relief passed over the young girl, a feeling she did not often have. Looking at the others around, she noticed the sheriff for perhaps the first time.

Relaxing her stance a bit, she took a step back as Ileana spoke, and lightened her posture. She glanced around the scene, looking at the damage done and the strange creatures themselves. What could have caused this? she thought to herself.
