Well then, let us go to the sept and say a prayer for Ser Lucien. He laid the foundation for the Knight you will become.

Gileon follows Ser Matthias to do prayers for Ser Lucen, the Debate was indeed heated as some knights and at some point some maesters have come to blows over the issue, nothing of any significance but enough to draw lines and and to know where most people in Westeros stand. House Naelareon maester has spoken in favor of the princess, which surprisingly ended up beating senseless an unarmored knight with a wooden sword that doubles as his walking stick. Ser Wendyll Strum a sworn sword to House Charlton has vowed to pay him back.

Matthias would have taken it easy the rest of the evening after the prayers for Ser Lucen, ideally to recuperate from the damage sustained in the joust.

"Anyway, I still have to contact couple other person more to complete the "seven" group so I will bide my farewell for now, if you allow Ser Corrad" Marcus politely ends the discussion and prepares to leave, only to meet with other Household Knight

"By all means, this tournament grows more interesting by the day Ser Marcus, now let us hope I can also win the joust" after some more exchange of jokes and pleasantries Ser Corrad gives his farewells to Marcus.

Let me know when ready for day change"

Day 6
Weather
The weather on day 6 is much better, clear of cloud cover, sunny and dry.

Spoiler:

- House Marsten's words are "Let the Heaven's Reign" and there's truly something heavenly about Lady Gwyneth Marsten's voice.
- Well said Ser, she's truly a worthy lady - not just a beauty, but cultured too.

- The person running Davain Bartheld's campaign is a teenage male whore. If a member of such a lowly class has this much influence on a lord, to what end will the new lord lead the house?
- I 'eard Nathaniel leads the young and inexperienced man around by his ear... or his cock.

- [shaking his head]It is a sad day for Westeros when noblemen have to be represented by whores to get anyone to listen to them.

-Someone sabotaged Lord Dunstan's horse, Ser Theomore was so wroth that the squire nearly wet himself.
-So should the man that did the deed, you did see how Lord Smallwood writhed in pain after facing Ser Theomore's lance?
-Aye, and do not forget the poor boy that lost it all at the Twins, seems whoever tried to set Tullison against Smallwood and Paege is in for a world of hurt.

-Did you hear? Ser Medric Manderly has been bedridden with a bad belly, the insides of his stomach coming out both ends they say!
-It's no common sickness, I tell you, the maester grumbled on about poisonous mushrooms.
-Yet Ser Medric is still jousting? Shouldn't he be in bed?
-A man of the north does not let some bellyache stop him...but I think I will put my coin on Ser Byron.

- Did you hear? The tourney will be graced by the joy and splendor of a Bartheld party.
- I've never been to their equal, even in King's Landing.
- Even better, it will be a masked ball, on [Day 6 evening]
- Aye, it would be a loss to the realm if such events were no longer held. Surely, no one would like it this way.
- Joy should be freely given to any who want it, at any time they want it, and not withheld as Ser Fendrel's dull nephew Davain would do.

- Didn't I tell you Ser Baelon was the Prince's son. He's proved himself with both sword and words now, a striking appeal to proper Andal tradition, rather than scaring potential Black supporters with queer Dornish customs.
- Corrine Marsten was stunningly forthright for the Princess.
- Aye, but her position is not dissimilar to the Princess's. Her family shifting behind the blacks was inevitable, surely?
- Ser Jon Cobb fight with words as well as he does with that warhammer of his, and his words have weight and gravitas behind them.
- Aye, the prince kept nodding each time Ser Jon offered a rebuttal.
- Didn't hear much from the green, apart from with their fists. Some Tullison knight spoke, then a Green and it all kicked off.
. Aye, I left then. Not worth getting yer nose broken over.
- A broken nose? Your nose needs broken back in to shape.
- That reminds me of that master that beat a knight, is there a combat lock now in the Citadel?

- My silver is on Ser Corrad and Ser Bryndon, it's not too late to get good odds on either man!
- Not on either of the Kingsguard? You're a fool, and you're about to be a poorer fool.
- Did you see the Kingsguard bundle that mystery knight away? Mayhap it was Prince Aemond one-eyed? He's been training hard under Ser Criston Cole?
-Ser Marcus also trounced the other mystery knight, but with considerably more effort.
- There were fine matches away from the Kingsguard however – Ereth Ahern finishing Ser Arryk Cargyll on foot was a spectacle!

- Thanks the Seven! Holy Harry was recaptured!
- It's the old gods you should be thanking fool, think the Coldbrooks 'ad a big part to play in that.
- Did you see that Northern lass on that fabulous steed of hers?
- I heard it is a Fossoway steed, must have cost a fair purse.
- True, true, Justice travels swiftly! No suprise to see a Coldbrook sword capture one of Ser Darry's band, they're old foes.

- Ser Jon and Ser Fendrel have said that Lord Davain is a martinet; a man who rejects the pleasures and traditions of his House.
- But how can that be true if he has someone like Nathaniel Mason advocating for him?

Mid Morning
Corrine Marsten Wedding is announced to Dunstan Tullison, long may they prosper and vanquish their enemies.

Late Morning
Throwing Contest
Still less grand than the archery, there is some small measure of glory to be won in throwing axes and knives at targets, although this is not a sport for respectable lords and ladies.

Participants: as many per house as desired.

Challenges:
Marksmanship (Throwing) (9) – Three rolls, Four DoS needed to progress.
Marksmanship (Throwing) (12) - Three rolls, Three DoS needed to progress
Marksmanship (Throwing (15) - Highes total DoS wins

Consequences
Winner = +1 glory, 5 gold dragons, a superior throwing axe or dagger and a free drinks for the evening, and maybe something special from the Painted World.

Having enjoyed great success in the hunt and archery contest, Garran decided to enter the throwing contest to see if the Seven would continue their blessings. He was not as skilled at throwing the axe and knife as he was with the bow, but some principles remained the same.

Stepping up to the line and taking careful aim, Garran brought his arm up and threw at the target.

Marksmanship: 5d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 5, 2, 3) = 16 2 DoS
Marksmanship: 5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 2, 6, 5) = 22 3 DoS
Marksmanship: 5d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 5, 3) = 15 2 DoS

7 DoS total.

Progressing through the first round, Garran stepped up to the line for the next set of targets.

Marksmanship: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 1, 6) = 17 2 DoS
Marksmanship: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 3, 6, 1) = 16 1 DoS
Marksmanship: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 6, 6, 6) = 28 4 DoS

7 DoS total.

Having made it to the final round, Garran stepped up and threw to see if he could achieve victory.

Marksmanship: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 2, 5) = 20 2DoS
Marksmanship: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 2, 3, 2) = 11 Miss
Marksmanship: 5d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 3, 5, 3) = 15 1 DoS

3 DoS total

Grimacing as his second dagger misses the mark, Garran waits to hear the results from the judges.

"Not bad, but I'm sure I will win this time" Billy grabs his throwing axe and takes aim.

First set of targets are nothing to the man, as he deftly puts his axe on every one with expertise.
5d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 4, 4, 6) = 22 k4 = 19
5d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 4, 1, 6) = 17 k4 = 16
5d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 1, 3) = 15 k4 = 14

Calling it close on one target ,but nonetheless a solid hit
5d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 3, 2, 6) = 18 k4 = 16
5d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 1, 2, 5) = 13 k4 = 12
5d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 3, 3) = 14 k4 = 13

Making a good impression but seems unfazed about missing the target, as if it had not happened.
5d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 4, 3, 6) = 19 k4 = 18 - 1 DoS
5d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 2, 2, 3) = 12 k4 = Miss
5d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 5, 1) = 19 k4 = 18 - 1 DoS

Other woodsmen throw and most make it to the second, but they barely even make a show to the third round and even less hit a single target.

Applause comes to all contestants, but more so to the finalists and when the judge nods to the finalists he declared Billy the winner giving him a finely crafted hatchet and his purse of gold.

"Such pity luck was not in your side today oh great "masters" of the hunt, white stag bane Garran"

Darne woke up early, he scratched a bit at the bandage over his chest and shook his head as he moved the book he had been reading onto a nearby chair. He got up and dressed for the day with a bit of care as to not undo the bandage he had had the Maester place.

He washed his face a bit and his hands before putting on a small bit of the herbs to help keep him smelling fresh and pleasant. He checked with the page to see if he had heard anything from Lady Blackwood before he took off to the Godswood. While his last visit had certainly been interesting and useful, he hadn't really had the chance to enjoy the beauty of the place and refresh his soul.

As the judges award Billy the prize, Garran looks at the targets, looks at the judges, and says, "Excuse me, but I believe you have made an error. While we both missed with our second axe, and our third axes are the same distance from the target, my first axe struck closer than his. According to the rules, that means I am the winner not him . Approaching Lady Sosan, Matthias bows deeply, Good Morning, Lady Sosan. Standing, he takes a moment to look at her as he puts as much warmth as possible in his voice, Thank you for this privilege. My day is brighter for it.

I must apologize to you again for the hurt I caused you. Pausing a moment to collect himself, What was not included with my apology, was that your vehement defense of my character frightened me. Most of my life, I have been dismissed with little consideration. I do not say that out of self pity, but as a simple fact, one that has helped shape and drive me to be a Knight in more than just name and title. I have made many mistakes during this tournament that have cost me in ways I am sure I have yet to truly grasp or ascertain. The hurt I caused you is the one that bothers me the most. My words reeked of the very dismissal with which I have faced since I was a boy.

Matthias takes a knee in front of her, I ask your forgiveness for my callousness.

That you offer me money to overlook this dishonesty shows you are unworthy of whatever title and lands you hold, unworthy to be called 'noble.' "Well Lady Naelaron, they ave requested to meet with me during the time of the Joust. An unusual time to request a meeting no, when everyone is distracted by the events of the Joust?

While I genuinely wish to reconcile with my former in-laws I am not sure whether this granting of an audience is anything but a mere trap".

"It is a social trap, and you the willing participant Ser Weyland. The Estren have probably not the same idea for amends as you, that is very likely, so they might bait you into breaking the peace, or make a fool of you, either by taking the insults your going to receive or by leaving after you were the one to request the audience, which is in turn breaking etiquette and frowned upon, which will still add more monikers to your already existing one" she taps her lips in a tempting way "Then what if you end up with a lady in waiting of House Estren putting you in a worse place and proving their accusations of your behavior? Swords won't do, a single arrow won't kill you, but as the queen has shown, a public display and humiliation can kill a man and destroy a life"

She stands and walks around you looking at you "You best be careful Ser Weyland, you are a good and capable swordsman, but the game your trying to play is beyond your capabilities" sitting again satisfied "If you are set in doing this, you can't take a woman as it would be salt to a wound in their face and chances are not one in her right mind would go to be humiliated at your side, Rest of our men are jousting or not up to such tasks, and I can't do that for you either as it would bring this House in it's entirely to suffer insult without appropriate response" she sighs "I don't think Domeric cares as long as he can fight, but he knows when and who at least"

"Perhaps I should bring along Maester Lucen, I hear he is quite good in a fight", Weyland jests.

His face and tone turn serious, "Actually that may not be a terrible idea, his way with words may assist is smoothing over the situation if it turns poor. You are correct Lady, I am out of my depth here but how will I ever learn the game if I do not begin to play it? I believe that I cannot fail to answer this missive after all I did ask for the audience. Besides, here I do not truly seek to play a game. I am ashamed at my own boorish behavior, I simply wish that my eyes opened long ago and that I made amends quicker before things got so out of hand. I seek not a fight here but to give an honest accounting of what happened and why.

With someone like the Maester with me, if they break protocol or threaten the peace, there shall be a reliable witness to show that it was they and not I who pushed the envelope.

I am certainly responsible for what happened and I must try to rectify it. If I do not the specter of it will follow me around for all of my days. I rather like the moniker I have received, after all did the Furious Frey not underestimate me no doubt due to this moniker? Let them all underestimate me, I shall allow my sword to do the talking when I must.

I do thank you for your insight and advice Lady Naelaron. Should I somehow fall to the blade or arrow of deceit due this meeting know that I have and have always had great love for you and your husband for all that you have done for me".

Ser Adrian a knight of the vale wearing his crimson armor with a helmet that looks like a tower makes his way through the crowd waving his hand and greeting his opponent "May the best one win" before turning back to pick up his lance and put his helmet on raising his lance indicating he is ready.

Darne Naelareon vs. Lord Forrester Frey

Lord Forrester makes a slow pass taking in the applause and bowing before the Princes and Prince, and a slight bow towards the Queen giving a deadly gaze to Darne and a smirk to Lord Domeric which makes him raise and eye brow, Now he drops his visor and points his lance to Darne in a threatening manner.

Darne felt a bit odd being on a horse other then Onyx but he still planned to do his best. He bowed before the Queen and then the Prince and Princess before turning about and getting to the starting point. He watched Lord Frey go about before he turned and noticed the gaze that he was being given. He knew that he was probably about to get his ass handed to him but he planned to give it his all. He looked over his opponent carefully, worried that the Lord might be trying to use the Joust as a way to exact some revenge.

Riding with a new armor equipped for the joust, Marcus greets the royalty as normally and then his own Household as well smallfolk. Taking his position at the other side of the "ring" he prepares for a bit before beginning to ride again with his usual manner, a bit higher and leaning forward to bring that extra accuracy on his tilting

Matthias entered the Jousting grounds with Lady Sosan's scarf prominently displayed for all to see, secured firmly to his helm so that it will trail behind him while his jousts.

"May the best one win," Matthias responds, echoing Ser Adrian. Taking position at the opposite end of the grounds, Matthias accepts his lance from Gileon. He raises the lance in return to Ser Adrian. A moment later he spurs his palfrey, urging it rapidly onward. Matthias smiles to himself as he gallops down the field, feeling an excitement he had not felt in his two previous bouts.

DOH!!! I have a feeling this may go poorly for Matthias. His armor absorbed the blow.

Save your DP, 16 still breaks a lance which is enough, no one really expected you to be at this point, your problem is far greater though

Lord Forrester can savor the blow as it bites deep into Darne's shoulder after sliding of the shield to the inside.

Ser Medrick takes the hit and shows no signs of slowing down, just the shit flowing down his armor as he has bowel problems, but it seems it will not stop him from jousting until he just can't keep himself on his horse and falls!
