Good to hear Num-rah, cuz your thread is just getting real interesting!

I'm of course real curious to see what's up for Diyeana and all the rest of the gang too.

And Corerue, I've been meaning to say this for a while now- even though we're really just getting started in this game, already this is easily the most unique and creative game I've ever been in. Steampunk soldiers and clockwork undead (or vice vera), time travelling(??) Elves, advanced ancient civilizations 'speaking' from the grave and more! I am SO much looking forward to seeing where this all goes!

Hey everybody, I know it's been a while since we visited the subject of "Weapons of Legacy" but I was awfully bored at work and decided to draw one up just in case we ever came to an agreement on how to handle it. After X Y & Z, I ended up going ahead and making spreadsheets on Google Docs to organize those annoying lists and charts and I figured I'd go ahead and share them with you guys just in case you felt the need do something spiffy with your work.

Sorry for leaving everyone hanging hopefully in the next day or two I can get up and moving again. Due to unforeseen events coming up in RL I've been pretty stressed out of my mind between my Home life and career.

Not much of an excuse to you guys and all of the games I'm in have suffered as a result.

This coming Wednesday I'm hoping to have an answer to some of the stress and should help make life easier once more. Until then bare with me. I will answer emails and such shortly as I finally have some time to focus once more.

We're trying to figure out how to escape a rampaging warjack and what ever is in front of us. Have a plan....but not sure how smart it is.....it involves throwing an alchemists fire at the warjack and running through the first doorway....hoping it will attack the next thing it sees....aka whatever is down the hallway.

Depends on whether or not it recognizes other thralls/necrotech (sounds like the friendly folk next door are the upper crust of the ship). There's two of you so one could scout ahead to see if that plan would work while the other keeps an eye on jacky-boy.

Aurora had a good idea to fire bomb the artillery shells so long as there’s a clear way out and your merc buddies are jumpind distance from the ship. Since you’re evil, you probably wouldn’t care about the prisoners on board.

Just my uneducated assumptions, for what it's worth. :)

The Warjack is still trapped, its merely regaining whatever stands for consciousness or it is rebooting, and someone else is approaching and are angry enough that instead of climbing over the contents of the turned over cargohold they are blasting/throwing the boxes out of their way.

@Leon/aurora: No when you descended from the room you started moving towards the next entrance you spotted which was in the floor(ceiling) on the other side of the crates piled around the warjack. The angry voice is coming from the opposite direction and they're moving rather slow as they are blasting through an overturned hold. :) more posts coming tonight. I've been babysitting 7 kids with my wife so yeah.... No posting time really these last couple days lol!

That cardboard box would be a pretty versatile home. I could pop some holes in it and wear it to job interviews. Cut the tape and lay it out to perform so old school break dancing (for tips mayhaps). I could use it as a table for street hustling three-card monte. The possibilities are endless!

Y'know this box situation is shaping up to be the best investment I could possibly make for me and my family. Now I'm off to go get evicted! Wish me luck!

Hehe Hellraiser may have had some influence on this place, but for the most part it is a six year project that never saw the light of day as my old group completely bypassed this place. So it has sat for a long time, at least by the time you few came along and started exploring it >:), and that has given rise to the possibility of god knows what occurring in those old, empty halls...

You will run into some of the old achievements of my old gaming group and other special stuff along the way of course. So hopefully I didn't ruin anything for you all its just a 'just so you know' comment. This game and world were on hold for a long time and sadly i'm rebuilding part of it after my harddrive crash a few months back.

Its coming together again though. As I have loads of notes to sift through lol and tables to rebuild...

If you have any questions about the worlds at large I will gladly post them here in OOC to expand you (and your characters) knowledge about each place.

For those of you from the human world. One thing of note is that most places in the Human/Old world are colder then normal compared to our real life world. Even along the meridian most of the year is cool and winters can be extremely harsh in some areas.

For characters older then 20+ they have memories of warmer years and vague memories of when things started to change. Crop failures, extreme weather patterns and the like. This was also around the time that the sea's became far to dangerous to traverse by normal means and led to the rise of Airship and aerial magics. Granted the sea is still used, your just far more likely to run into trouble out in a choppy ocean then flying above the waves in a steady airship. :)

I wouldn't mind the influence even if the next guy I came across was two weapon fighting using a Rubik's Cube and a spiked chain haha.

At first I was a bit worried about playing a Fighter because it's a comparatively "boring" class. But considering how long of a night Cass has had (and is continuing to have), I'm happy not to have gone with a Magus or a Rogue. It's also kind of funny to think of how his night started and where it is now.

When things cool down a bit for my character I'd like to know a little more about the Free Cities and the world he had seen back in his time as an Airship Captain/"Pirate".
