As a quick reminder to underwater fighting if you so wish to dive under after some creatures, which does include chest deep water which is as such.

Movement- A successful swim check allows a creature to move 1/4 speed as move action or 1/2 speed as full round action.

Combat- A successful swim check is as follows: Slashing / bludgeoning= -2 attack and half damage ; piercing damage is normal

Failed swim check- Makes you off-balanced which makes the character lose it's dex bonus for that round to AC while opponents additionally gain a +2 to attack against off balanced characters.

@ Charles- Swim check move just gets you 1/4 speed and full round gets you 1/2 speed, so I moved you the 15 feet leaving you 5 feet short from the creature.

@Jack- bless is still active

@ Somia-I left them off for the moment Somia as you could not see below the surface of the waters due to the muck and bodies.

@ Viviana- From what I am gathering you would need some sort of a freedom of movement or a dedicated swim speed to be able to charge under water and I need a swim check for your movement.

Charles swims forward not quite able to make it to the creature.

Jack asks for a divine favor from his goddess as Somia dives below the churning waters and is able to finally see below the bodies and muck. As she dives below the waters she sees that the two sailors have sunk halfway to the bottom already and that there are two undead humanoid creatures with bloated skin from being in the water. The creatures have long sharp teeth with portions starched over a thin frame. The creatures are attached to chains and are grasping for the two sinking sailors.

Knowledge (history) or (local)DC 15:
You recognize that ne of the sailors bears a 5 pointed star tattoo being eaten by a whale on it's naked body. You remember the tattoo as a symbol of the Majestrix Malus, a scouting arm of the imperial navy of Cheliax.

The large creature snaps his jaws at Charles but is unable to get him as the distended jaws snap at open air.

Bite vs Charles: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

The smaller creature draws a wand as she waves it in the air before her while you hear a slight guttural sound.

I will try and represent your positions as best as I can on the normal view for flanking purposes but I will mostly be going off of the sideview for actual position purposes that is on the right hand side since this is more of a depth underwater fight.

Poison: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Poison: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

Potential -7 Str (or -6 if the durations don't work like that), Somia drags herself onto the ledge and just lies there breathing heavily for a few moments.

NB: I've got a Lesser Restoration, if Viviana is down a lot I'll use it on her, since she's a frontliner and I'm decidedly not, otherwise I'll use it on myself.

Not sure how many rounds I was poisoned, so I'll just keep rolling until i meet the DC

Poison: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Poison: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Poison: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13

I think its something like -3 to my Str but I'll wait on GM confirmation for the final total.

@ Somia-Yours had saved and been taken off for a round Somia and started back over. Yours never extended as you made those saves which is what released the initial poison. So in the end you would be at -7 strength

@ Viviana- Yes you are correct. you would be at -3 Strength.

Both Somia and Viviana feel the poison drain from their bodies, they feel quite a bit weaker but ultimately still alive.

GM - would it be unreasonable to handwave Aishe swimming over and killing the undead humanoids with her (extended) boarding pike? I'm assuming that they're somehow confined to the bottom of the room? I'm willing to make the rolls, but it doesn't really seem necessary.

Jack cats detect magic as a wonderous amount of objects within the room begin to glow.

Once Jack begins to pinpoint locations he finds a potion with a warm glow about it, a well-used wand and harpoon that the female creature dropped. Among all the floating bodies jack finds a whale skull (25 lbs) with scrimshaw carvings all over it that look to be about 10 different scrolls and lastly the Tricorne hat from Sandara in Viviana's pack puts off a hint of magic as well.

Hidden within the walls Jack finds that a set of four +1 crossbow bolts and a bracer that matches the same one that Jack found in the cave earlier, they seem to make a set!

Throughout the rest of the cavern the party scrounges together two masterwork daggers, a masterwork silver dagger, a rusting masterwork cold iron sickle, and finally 1041 gp and 211 silver pieces in assorted coins.

Sandara awakens with a slight jerk as if she is attempting to defend herself. I..I am sorry Jack. I did not realize that it was you. These beasts were horrible. Thank you for saving us. I will never forget it and I owe you my life.

Standing up and brushing herself off she looks around. You all look completely battered. Allow Besmara to soothe your wounds.

Sandara grasps her locket as she shispers a small prayer as powerful energy arcs through the air closing all of your wounds.

Channel pos energy: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7
Channel pos energy: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 5) = 9
Channel pos energy: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6

That should help for now. For saving our lives please take my hat as a token from myself and Besmara.

"If I may." Taking the hat and putting it on his head and throwing all the found loot together Jack calls for a triple HIPP HIPP HURRAY. "We should leave and find a save spot to rest. And then, we return. I think it is high tide that we pay Mr Plugg and Master Scourge a final visit. I have also an idea how to do. But we should be well rested. They expect 4 we return with 7 and 7 is a very lucky number.
I also think Besmara will look quite favorably on us. A cleric with her blessing, one of her inquisitors, a sea bard, ready to sing praise to her trade, our excellent lady with the fists of steel and all the bravado one can hope in a pirate. Crimson, the epitome of cold fury. And our two new friends! The epitome of HOT fury and the beautiful lady of the spirits. They can call us many things. But I call us.... a CREW!"
