Game Master Almonihah

A very unusual hydra sets out to prove that more heads may not be better than one.

And I'd like to not be burned...although I guess you'll probably not do that again...and you can use fire to cook things! Maybe that is a good idea after all. We did make a deal with them, so we'd better make sure we can make them stick to it.

Tomorbataar is changing his vote to stop for the night before going to the humans in the morning.

"Besides, Hungry, when you threw that fireball, you didn't care we'd be injured. You said we'd grow back in a few minutes. Why are you caring now?" She accuses him vehemently.

No change in vote. Still humans, now.

"I did care that you all were injured, but I cared about killing the trolls quickly and getting food more." Hungry sincerely smiles at Zip.

"Right now I care more about our continued survival by not walking into a potential trap at a steep disadvantage than risking the humans being trust worthy. Hungry motions at each head in turn. You, Blockhead, Tom and Dru are all really hurt. If this is a trap and you all are dropped quickly and prevented from regrowing in a timely fashion, would leave Morheds and I alone to deal with the humans, something that may not bode well with the limited uses of my skill set."

Hungry gnaws on his bone.

"It's OK if we go to the humans now, I'll just make do with what I have, like always. BUT if it does turn out to be a trap, I will never let you live it down."

-Vote is still unchanged, sleep for the night and head back to the humans in the morning.

Looks like Hungry will face constant reminder of his ill fated attempt to hurt us...poor Hungry. But also poor us.

There might be some vegetables in the troll's stomach. Tomorbataar suggests, looking pained at the thought. Or you could just...uh...eat the...the uh...berries? Just eat the berries. Tomorbataar pokes his head vaguely at a patch of very berryless bushes.

Which action currently has the most votes, i mean while we'Re arguing the body should be doing that right?

Battle Board Area Maps Hydra Deity Level 20 All Classes

Looks like it's two voting to rest first and three voting to go. Also, wondering how Ziphora is still hungry--you do share a stomach. ;) Well, except for the Eidolon. It's doing some weird extradimensional shenanigans.

As the heads argued, their body continued trundling forward in the sunset. It would still be a little while before they reached that clearing place, and who knew how long it was to where the humans were down their path.

Dru-Head does spot a few plants with edible roots as they walk along, but nothing easy to eat.

Giving just a little more time for discussion... though I suspect you're all pretty set in your decisions.

Actually I thought that each hydra had its own stomach, else why is everyone actually eating?

Battle Board Area Maps Hydra Deity Level 20 All Classes

Ah, I'd been thinking of the hydra as having only one stomach that all the heads connected to, and all of the heads were just eating at once because it was empty. :D Maybe I need to try to write out a description of weird hydra physiology so we're all on the same page here... Sorry for the confusion.

After Blockhead creates a crater in the troll chiefs guts, he lifts his head up frantically only to half-see no more enemies (either because he is missing an eye or he's not too sure about those other heads ≥_≥) when the adrenaline rush runs out and the blood loss from the head wounds sets in.

It seems like the consensus is still to continue on to the humans even after dark. But during lunch at work is not the time to write a long post, so it will be this evening before I get to it.

The sun has set by the time you reach the place with all the knocked-down trees. No humans wait for you here now, but it's not hard to see which way the path leads.

Tomorbataar's head snaps over to the bushes, peering intently at them. It was a human, running off to go tell his friends we're back. Why would they hide from us if they intended to keep their agreement? We need to make examples of them. It is unclear who exactly is supposed to see the example that is made, but Tomorbataar is certain that this sedition cannot go unpunished.

I bet they are building a fort with those logs, to keep us out of. If we can draw them out of it, maybe we can go for a little of the old hand biting. Tomrobataar reaches down and takes another bite of the troll, he is slightly less careful this time, as though he's not so focused on what's going on around him as he is on getting back at the humans.

You travel up the road for about an hour before seeing the fort. It has a wall made up of lots of trees with the branches chopped off and the tops sharpened, that's about as tall as your heads can reach (but not quite). A few metal-skinned humans are looking over the top of it, including Sir Torlgrith.

Of more interest, however, is that there is a dead boar and some dead rabbits lying in front of the open door, and a human is hurriedly adding a brace of pheasants to the pile as you approach.

Human Metal-skin

"Greetings, err... hydra!" Sir Torlgrith calls out as you approach. "We had thought you would at least wait until the next day before returning, so we have not had time to prepare much food for you. I do have a couple of scrolls, though." He holds up a tube-thing.
