GM Silbeg |
We'll get started as soon as we're all here.
Please let me know what changes you'll need on your rolls, etc., if any.
GM Silbeg |
What's a break?
This game will be going at a slower pace than the goblins, I should imagine. Keep it enjoyable. Give a chance at more "giggly-pokes" and the like.
This is my chance to do some of what you're doing in RoW, so I am going to take it!
Seriously, though, if folks don't want to have 18 games going at once, just let me know. We can pick between this or WBG3.
Arturo the Swift |
Arturo is up to date! Got a belt of incredible dexterity (at last!) and upgraded my armor to +1. He's also grabbing silver blunt arrows and cold iron arrows. I'll also spend 2 PP to replace my potion of cure serious wounds.
My initiative has changed to +5, reflex to +10, CMD to 18 and AC to 21 (and all dex based skills get a +1 boost of course). Otherwise, all the old stuff for Arturo that you have will still apply.
Jaender the Black |
I also have an uncomfortable double column in my games tab, so I wouldn't mind at least taking one of these easy for a bit. I still need to get Jaender updated as well (and Poog...)
GM Silbeg |
Arturo, aren't blunt arrows all wooden?
Arrow, Blunt: These arrows have rounded wooden tips. They deal bludgeoning damage rather than piercing damage. An archer can use a blunt arrow to deal nonlethal damage (at the normal –4 attack penalty for using a lethal weapon to deal nonlethal damage).
Arturo the Swift |
That seems silly - you could put a blunt metal tip on an arrow, we used them all the time in high school. I guess they'd still pierce flesh, but they weren't that blunt. However, the rules say that they are indeed wooden!
I guess that's 1 point for GM Silbeg and 0 points for Hero Lab. Make my sliver arrows "kinda sharp", then.

Dude, I know the feeling. Not counting First Steps, I am showing 10 active games (ok, two are for PbP Game Day 4, and won't be starting for a while, but....)
If folks want to hold on this one, just let me know.
_Ophiuchus_ |
No matter to me, in full PbP mode right now, but if people need to slow down I would rather have quality over quantity.
So I bought a Silver Crusade wayfinder with PP, am I limited to only one PP purchase per in-between adventures? Wanted to get the temple vanity.
Saving my $ for a belt/headband or Mnemonic Vestment.
Roudantaimi |

Do you have the fame for it? Or did we get it in some chronicle? I think 18 Fame is needed, although I didn't check if this changed in season 7. We're quite much behind the "standard" due to playing modules.
Roudi will be getting a MW double-barreled pistol. MOAR GUNZ YAY!
I believe the recent errata only affected double-barreled musket(?)
For PP purchases... either Oil of Daylight or Scroll of 5x Lesser Restoration. Does the party have either of these yet?
Silbeg |
Things did not change. The max item you could purchase with 13-17 Fame is 3000gp. Roudantaimi is right on this. Whether you are behind in PP due to modules, or on the pace that PFS expects is another topic for discussion (but campaign management has said multiple times in the past that they only expect 2/3 of PP to be received, and that is how the charts are designed)
Roudantaimi, there was a separate FAQ that talked about the other weapons. As it stands, pulling both triggers on a double-barreled gun is always a standard action.
Arturo the Swift |
Huh. I just always thought the fame thing was just for purchases out of a big town (ie. otherwise it used the town's purchase limit). Since we finished the last adventure in Absalom, I thought it wasn't an issue.
Well, that makes playing modules in PFS much less desirable. Can't get a standard +2 ability enhancer until 5th level? Pfft.
I'll reevaluate my life (and Arturo's) soon.
Jaender the Black |
We haven't had to worry about it much with the Drongos - we are pretty efficient at getting all the PP, and so generally our money can't keep up with what we can spend.
I agree that the restrictions are at times very frustrating, especially at the lower levels when a frugal character can save up for some very basic/essential magic items, and can't afford them until their relative effectiveness is much reduced.
As it stands, Jaender was just able to purchase his headband, by virtue of reaching level 5, and having 3 full scenarios where he was able to get the full 2pp/fame.
Arturo the Swift |
Huh. Doesn't look very "level 5" to me:
Male CG Wayang Sorcerer (Linnorm-Draconic Bloodline) 4
So, Jack, any chance we could please get the old "quests" document linked back here on the campaign info somewhere, as well as the Thornkeep map/s? I'd love to go over it and start re-investigating. :-)
Jaender the Black |
lol - I made a disclaimer in the zedroom, herolab is updated, but not paizo.
/sigh
Arturo the Swift |
*gulp*
Awesome.
Arturo is now up-to-date with rules-acceptable purchases. He has upgraded his buckler to +1 and picked up a ring of protection. AC 22 is the only change from previously.
Snore.
Oh, and he doesn't have a cloak of resistance because of the muleback cords. Any way around that, or should I just sell the cords and pick up a handy haversack instead (have to happen a little later on) to free up my body slot?
Jaender the Black |
Heya! Jaender updated. Move action - Strut
I was sighing earlier in a lament for more time... as if I don't spend enough on these boards.
/sigh
:)
GM Silbeg |
I am going to hold off on this, so that we can get credit for it from the game day as well (boon rolls, for example)
Hope that is cool with everyone!
