Kishara |
Kishara considers... they might be just ornamental, but knowing her luck lately she sheathes her knife, draws her own bow and steps out from the cover of the corner firing a test shot at the closest skeleton.
Fire Shortbow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1 Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 6) = 12
Kishara |
Oh... I thought you were saying 2 in the first one and 4 in the western one. So then there is nothing in the closest chariot?
Kishara moves stealthily within range to try the skeletons with her arrow.
Stealth to move up: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Kel Na' Yaa |
Kel follows Kish's lead and draws his own bow, nocking a blunt arrow and taking aim at anything that moves.

Kish fires off an arrow, and Kel fires into the hall but misses.
Kish's arrow smashes one skeleton...
The suspicions were correct, these Skeletons are alive!

Agraic shifts weapons to sword and board. In this case, not so much to have the sword out, but to have a nice bashing weapon in the form of a shield, as well as the plainly obvious reason of protection.
He... didn't have blunt arrows... so he'll be having to advance under fire, unless some more of them get taken down.
Kishara |
Kishara drops her bow and sprints toward the closest skeleton, drawing her magic shortsword and light mace and then leaps up into the chariot to attack the skeleton. She fights defensively, keeping her balance low.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
Light Mace Attack on Yellow: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 7 - 4 = 21 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Hoping the chariot will provide some cover from the incoming arrows in a moment... +2 from defensive, and +4 for cover? =D

Well, looks like fun, now, eh Kish?

Putting this here so it's ready when we're active on our turn... Will be at work and they're kind of wonky about phones, plus my phone is ancient-tech 'dumb' phone.
The half-elf psycho goes charging in and plants a cestus in the upper body location of the northernmost skeleton!
Cestus Bash (Charge): 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 2 = 121d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
In his zeal, though, he probably misses. Darn floating ribcages! In the event the skeleton does try to shoot the bow again without the proper knowledge of how to do so in combat ie, Triggers an AoO
Cestus Bash (AoO): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 101d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
*sigh* Can I burn my dice roller on the website?

Henrick, obviously having spaced out, realized he was alone in the hallway! Pumping his stubby legs as fast as he can, he double moves into the room.
Kishara |
Kel dashes forward, drawing his rapier, but leaving the blunt combat scabbard on.
Well, looks like fun, now, eh Kish?
Kishara flashes the swashbuckler a grin, holding up two fingers. "Two down, four to go!" She then leaps down from the chariot and sprints into the fray. Still fighting defensively, she positions herself to threaten two of the skeles, hoping to make use of her combat reflexes if possible.

Agraic would have been okay if he had not charged. Unfortunately, with caution tossed to the wind to close the distance quickly he does get clipped by the skeleton amidst his random swinging with the cestus.
That clip sort of rings his bell a bit and he shakes it off before attempting to levy a brutal backhand to the skeleton in front of him!

I decided to use Enora the Arcanist for this game. I've never used an Arcanist, but they seem pretty awesome.
I'll use a charge from my Mage Armor wand to bump my AC to 17
A robed halfling bearing a staff enters to find the others, smiling as she sees them.
So, what do we have here?
I haven't read any of the thread. Should I? Or just rely on an IC recap from the others?

OK I skimmed a bit I'll post once the fight is over and rp on how everyone else talks to me

Ok, I'm caught up on everything. GM, can I purchase supplies before coming here? If not, that's cool, but Enora has 112 gp and doesn't have much gear. If I'm allowed too, here's what I'd like to buy...
Hot Weather Outfit (Provided by VC?)
Spring Loaded Wrist Sheath—5 gp
Scroll of Infernal Healing—25 gp (inside wrist sheath)
Scroll of Protection from Evil—25 gp
Scroll of Touch of the Sea—25 gp
Scroll of Unseen Servant—25 gp
Vermin repellent--5 gp
2 days trail rations--1 gp
Can I examine things that I walk past on the way to the party? If so, here's what my results are:
Carved reliefs:
Knowledge Nobility: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Take 10 for the Knowledge Arcana re: hieracosphinx
18 result (take 10) Knowledge History for chariot room to see if I am familiar with the battles depicted
As for your earlier questions about our skills:
Enora speaks Ancient Osiriani and Osiriani, and she is trained in Linguistics. Nice! She is also trained in all Knowledge skills, but she does not have Trapsense. It turns out she's actually really well-suited for this mission, lol.
"Don't know whether to be insulted or insanely grateful right now?" The half-elf with monumental temper issues glances to the new arrivals. "Name's 'graic. Melee with the beating stick. How ya do?"
Hi! I'm Enora--I'm something of an expert on Osirion, if you'll pardon me saying so, and I should have been sent here with you in the first place. There was a mixup with some paperwork and, well, I don't want to blame anyone, so let's just leave it at that, shall we?
She looks around at the piles of bones and says: Well, that's...interesting. Is anyone hurt? I have a wand of CLW with 10 charges that I think we should use first. Pregen!
The halfling doesn't carry much, but she does hold an ornate staff in her hand.
I just need a few moments to prepare, and then I'll be ready...
The little sage draws forth a huge tome that she rests on her lap and leafs through the pages, studying intently. As she reads she smooths a vile-smelling white paste all over her body. She then casts a spell from a scroll and stands up, putting her book carefully away. The paste does not smell good and she shrugs apologetically.
What can I say, I don't like bugs? Anyway, my invisible friend here can open doors for us, in case there are any nasty surprises left here from the pyramid's creators. Shall we proceed?
As I stated earlier--Mage Armor on myself from a wand before I enter the pyramid. Then--Quick study reservoir point to change Vanish memorized to Grease. Apply vermin repellent. Cast Unseen Servant from the scroll (if I'm not allowed to make purchases, I'll have to revise these actions).
Before we enter the next room I will cast Shield on myself from Enora's staff--duration 8 minutes. Sorry for the wall of text!
Agraic |
Agraic will accept gladly even though it's not his healing stick.
Henrick Bulwark |
Henrick finally makes it up to the battle, and the battle is over.
"Highly unusual, sending more Pathfinders in as replacements, but happy to have ye with us! Welcome, friends."
"Me? I'm sort of a specialist in helping undead creatures give up their hold on their mortal remains and find solace in the afterlife. Or, ye can call me a Hunter of the Damned, if ya prefer. Henrick will do just fine as well."
Soulveliss Sangre |
"geatings yes we were sent just to help out my name it Soulveliss, Soul please and this is Kon we have been together for some time now. Im a huntsmen what ever i might be hunting. Well met" Sul turns to his badger "Well say hello"

Well met. I'm Kel. Owner of The Laughing Lizard, if you're ever in Absalom and need a good place to eat.
He motions to the path forward, and then nods to Kish.
I'll defer to your good judgement, milady. And your trap skills.

Oh sure, all us wee folk love food. Enora says in mock indignation. I'm kidding of course. I've been there many times--it's my fourth favorite place to eat in Absalom!
The halfling whispers seemingly to no one while pointing to the door and Kish.
Open that door when she tells you to.
Instructions to unseen servant
Kishara |
< This is what Kish looks like. Haven't found a good pic to represent her yet.
Kishara stows her light mace, returns her silvery shortsword to it's scabbard on her hip and retrieves her bow from the floor. "Well, they weren't just ornamental before. But they're nothing but a mess now, eh? Thanks for the back-up, fellas. Sorry we couldn't wait, Henrick." She shrugged, smiling amicably and then approached the new arrivals with the others.
"Don't know whether to be insulted or insanely grateful right now?" The half-elf with monumental temper issues glances to the new arrivals. "Name's 'graic. Melee with the beating stick. How ya do?"
She patted the burly half-elf's muscular shoulder as she barked a scoffing laugh in reply to his words, shaking her head slightly. "Ha! If the Decemvirate left off playing dress-up and contemplating their own power long enough to remember that there are lives on the line and dole out reinforcements, the appropriate reaction is surprised, but grateful... trust me."
The young woman looked fairly average and unremarkable at first glance, at least until you notice she carried more weapons than any two of her companions combined. She was slender and not at all tall, in fact, the half-orc towered nearly a foot over her. She wore her long, blue-black hair in a simple braid and a plain linen shirt beneath the supple leather vest and breeches of her explorer's outfit. Her face and clothes were smudged with a fair amount of blood and dust, as if she had already spent some time decorating the stone floor like a limp rug. Upon a closer look, you notice the angular, finely-boned features of half-elven heritage. Although the points of her ears are strangely absent, only scar-tissue telling that she once had them and her nose has been blunted in a way that suggests it's been broken before... frequently.
She makes virtually no noise as she walks and her violet colored eyes do not gaze anywhere for long, darting here and there, seemingly always looking for trouble. She wore a sideways smile as she sized up the hunter and his badger and nodded approvingly upon hearing of Enora's expertise. "Good to have you on board, all three of you! I'm Kishara, but you can call me Kish. We've already run into a fair number of traps, so I'm keeping an eye out. If we get into the thick of it, I tend to like to find my way 'round to trouble's backside, if you catch my drift."
That is Kishara's patented way of explaining that she will barrel into combat, using her Acrobatic skills to get into a flank at the first opportunity. Sorry for my delay, I lost a long post to an errant click again. >_< And I forgot my perception check.
Perception, take ten: 10 + 10 = 20 How long does it take to take 20 on a door check again?

I should just be doing that then, a minute isn't too long to spend.
"Heh! Sounds good to me. What's the lunch special?" She asked, noticing she was getting a bit hollow in the middle. Her stomach seconded the motion, grumbling just at the thought of food after their long day.
Kish looks around awkwardly for where to focus her eyes as she makes the request to the unseen servant. "Ok, looks safe. Open'er up!" She says, drawing her favorite dagger.
