I'm sorry, I had no idea you were waiting on me for further comment. Again. I thought we were waiting on you to slaughter us :D That's cool, though, given the option to change my actions from what I last said, she would instead drink a fly potion and try to get up to Sable to start pulling him back. I'm having issues with the map right now so I can't move.
Dex w/ acrobatic feat bonus for flight if needed 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 4 + 2 = 22

Going to take for granted that Sable healed me up with the wand. HP = 126/129. Full move 80'
"Damnit! Not again..."
Cursing as he burst forward, Kabal readied himself for the worst...that woman better not be in trouble...
GM Shifty |
The Giant on the throne speaks to his companion:
Crush the wizard, keep a watch for his familiar and crush that too. Your other target s their shrieking bard, Ailetha -she's next, followed by the Caydenite. Crush the brains and their meat will be ripe to kill
The other giant responds by hurling boulders at the blinded Witch.

Not many. I really want to cast haste, but we keep ending up disbursed all over the place, making it less effective.
Round 1
Knowing that she cannot reach the giants, Ailetha points at the rock thrower while speaking words of arcane power. A purplish aura emanates about the giant for a moment before disappearing.
Standard: Cast Confusion - DC19 Will or confused (range is 200', should easily reach)
--> Would love to get both of them, but they seem to be about a foot too far apart. If it is possible to catch both in the 15' radius burst, she will.
Move: move forward 30'
--> she moves such as to place one of the pillars? statues? between her and the rock throwers
Ailetha Aurcalam |
Sable is blinded. Ailetha cast Confusion. With any luck, the rock thrower will roll high and begin to attack his buddy standing next to him. I don't want Kabal to be closer than the second giant. Thus, why Ailetha shouted for Kabal to get the leader between himself and the rock thrower.
Sable Eboncrow |
Sable coughs up blood, reaching blindly for the ceiling, and muttering in his native tongue. "Dyna'r tro cyntaf i mi wedi clywed o ddal un aderyn gyda dwy garreg."
Kabal Breven |
Thanks Shifty and Ailetha, makes sense now. Completely missed the B and G before.
Taking in the scene all Kabal knew was that he had to get himself between the giant and Bree...and Sable...what in damnation is he doing up there anyways?... The big man spit as he took long, loping strides to charge the bigger of the two giants and came down with an overhead chop as he leaped the last bit of distance towards his new foe.

Celestra doubles moves up to get in position to offer her support.
My dearest Cayden Cailean! Guide me and help me to keep my companions alive. These foes do not look pleased to see us!
Ailetha Aurcalam |
Ailetha shouts back in the guttural language of the giants, tossing in the stony accent of the stone giants for good measure.
Surrender or be destroyed. There is no hope for you. Strike down one of us, and two more shall smite you.

HP 126/129, Rage 4/13. Move action Stand up. Move 5' back
With a grumbled, 'Blast it.' Kabal got to his feet just slightly embarrassed and angrier than he'd been before. The warrior took in the situation and sneered when he saw the biggest of the giants flying above his head...chicken s*!!... Their group was all sorts of out of place and Kabal meant to change that and growled directions at Bree. Hew as seething that once again the others had dawdled way behind and knew it might cost them dearly.
'Back it up a bit babe. Time to regroup.'
Ailetha Aurcalam |
Hoping to be able to get the group a little more buffed up, Ailetha moves another 30 feet forward while trying to keep another of the statues between her and the giants. When she gets there, she looks at Kabal, who appears to be ready yo retreat with Bree, and her long time companions behind her and calls out.
All, get closer to me so that I can speed you up.
Ready Action to cast Haste <-- as soon as Karlan and Kabal are both within range.
Kabal - you should be able to move 40' back as a move action. Standing is one move, and the 40' would be the other. If you move back toward where Sable is, then I can hopefully get you and Karlan in a haste when Karlan flies by.
