Hmmm...don't remember the chime. Would be useful though 8-). As for magic items a circlet of intelligence would be nice, or a rod of lesser extend, which is not too expensive.

Auri- it's equivalent to an Amulet of Mighty Fists (flaming) which I think is overpriced so say 3000 gp value.

Hmmm if its an equivalent have I been using it right in applying only the flaming damage instead of flaming damage + tail damage, and should I be applying it to my bite attack?

um, no. at least for now, maybe i'll ramp it up later, but honestly you really don't want to hang around long enough for a full attack anyway. esp. if there's a chance you'll get grappled and seriously abused.

Which is all very true, but in the last few fights thats all I had left in the can :p

Mind you, I have a fair bit of mojo now, so its (ironically) less of an issue I suppose...!

Ooh - or Karethas could take a few levels in the Canadian Mounties prestige class.

1. When I think of "sparky sparky dragon" all I can think of are those small plastic children toys that had the flint wheels in them that sparked when you pushed them against a surface. "Stay back! I have a sparky sparky dragon!"

2. I think Karethas would be better suited to the "Wendigo" prestige class. Less spells but more powerful attacks. Mounties are skill monkeys, no reason to go treading on Faelar's toes.

well, after the fan appeared to die in a loud and spectacular fashion yesterday, my notebook seems to be OK today... at least if I disappear for a while you'll know why.

Crosses fingers and whispers prayers to Sarenrae that Voodoo's fan holds out until he can get it fixed.

Yeah just be careful of setting it down or running it for too long if the fan is dying.

keeping it cool is an issue in AZ :) it feels like the fan is doing something though? I will take it in for a check up next week I think. I just want to get my classes started.

I've been moving in with the fiancé this weekend and I worried that I might have held up the game because I wasn't checking the boards. Glad to see that wasn't the case :-).

I was expecting Amir to check in today as he usually doesn't post on the weekend, but this being a holiday and all... hopefully we can get rolling again by tomorrow. I understand this is a busy time of year though. It's been pretty slow all around.

I'm exhausted, but we are in and probably 90% unpacked. She has a stupid amount of stuff, easily 3x's what I had, but we have been condensing it down into some order and throwing a bit away. We have spent like $1000 on the moving truck, a few pieces of furniture and random items we needed, so it's been expensive. Then there are the costs for the wedding, wedding ring, and honeymoon. My God, she would have broken me if I didn't have a decent savings :-).

my home internet is down and i've got about 10 min 'til the library closes. hopefully it will be short term.

You all failed you perception checks miserably. Nobody even noticed that we passed 1 year a week ago on this campaign with all the original members.

When Auri was a 'Race level' before 'class level' it added the scores in as being multiclassed.

L1 - 'Pseudodragon' - 4 Will save

Serves me right for not doing it manually! But ultimately not having a class level at the beginning left it as a 'racial level' (hence racial stats) by default. Hmm will have to go back and look at the saves again :p

OK took the racial out, now F2/R4/W6 vs a stock PD F4/R5/W4 - those Racial saves are clearly pretty good!

Hey all, I am in a Serpent Skull campaign which is just starting, actually restarting as the first DM just quit after 2 weeks. We have a new DM who is a long time player in another campaign I am in. It looks like we need 2 more players. Right now we have a Mwangi Elf Wizard(transmuter) - me, a human Bard(archeologist), and a human cleric. Looks like we need at least one melee player. The second is open. I do not think that the DM has put any serious restrictions on races or classes, but probably Core/APG/UM/UC would be best.
