@Welby: Are you going to do anything other than maintain inspire courage?

Order:
Nadja - Re-use Slumber Hex on Natalya and hide behind cover
Calendir - Climb ladder, Draw Greatsword, Attack Natalya for Non-Lethal
Raven - Blinding Ray on Natalya
Aurora - Fire two Shots at Goblin, one from last round
Jotune - Scurry up ladder after Calendir
Welby - Maintain Inspire Courage
Omoro - Shoulder Shortbow and Climb the First Ladder
Goblin
Natalya

Round 2

Nadja gestures again at Natalya, commanding the woman to sleep, but the varisian seems to just shake it off quickly this time, "I am the one to be doing the commanding, insect!"

Calendir quickly climbs up the ladder, the slick grease on it doing little to impede him. He pulls his greatsword as he steps off at the top and swings at Natalya, but the excellent swing glances off invisible protections around the woman.

Raven's bright ray of light strikes the woman in the face, but she seems to be only partially blinded by it , "Damn you, my eyes!" Natalya is dazzled.

Aurora sinks two arrows into the goblin beside her, one in the shoulder, and when that one doesn't drop it, another in its throat. It falls onto its face on the platform.

Jotune attempts to follow Calendir up the ladder, but has more trouble with the grease covering it and slides back down to the bottom of the ladder.

Welby continues to shout encouragement to the group and Omoro shoulders his bow and climbs up the ladder out of the pit.

Natalya steps back from Calendir, her foot on the edge of the platform. "Burn for your arrogance!" She thrusts forth the shard of metal in her hand, but nothing happens as she is forced to dodge another swing from Calendir. "Curses!"

Round 3 actions please.

Fine! The beautiful witch snaps. If you want to make it hard on yourself then so be it. Reaching into the folds of her dress Nadja withdraws the tanglefoot bag. Waiting for an opening as Calendir's sword swings past Natalya, Nadja lets fly with the alchemical contraption.

"She resist's the colors, she is strong." Raven grasps the raven's claw amulet she wears and concentrates upon it, focusing upon the bond and preparing to draw upon it's power.

@Welby: There should be a new version up. I'm to tired to work on the second floor. Essentially there's a platform she and the goblins were standing on up on the second floor in the two squares directly above the ladder out of the pit.

Calendir - Attack Natalya for Nonlethal Damage
Raven - Ready action to cast Magic Missile at Natalya when she casts
Aurora
Jotune - Try the ladder again
Welby
Omoro - Climb the ladder
Goblin
Natalya

Nadja hurls a thin bag at Natalya, but it falls massively short into the pit, exploding and spraying a sticky goo into the water.

Calendir takes another swing at Natalya, but the blow again glances off of her protections.

Raven eyes Natalya, waiting for her to cast.

Jotune and Omoro attempt to scale the ladder, but the slippery grease prevents them from reaching the top, causing them to slide back down.

Natalya begins to gesture and intone a spell. Raven takes the opportunity to cast her spell, sending a bolt of magical force from her fingertips to unerringly strike Natalya. However, the bolt is intercepted by a disk of force that only appears momentarily as the magical bolt strikes it and is dissipated. Natalya grins as she completes her spell and gestures at Calendir.

Calendir:
You feel like the person standing in front of you is a good friend. It seems somewhat strange to be assaulting her now that you realize it.

Round 4

Seeing the struggle with the ladder, Raven retrieves her rope and grapple and attempts to attach it to Natalya's platform. Securing the platform she holds the rope tight for anyone who wishes to climb.

Hissing in frustration Nadja's quick mind begins to rapidly catalogue her options. We were far too slow, we should have moved quickly. We lost the elemental of surprise. Worse, she is extremely resilient. Seeing many possible outcomes, she in a split second carefully weights the options laid before her. Reaching into a small pouch at her side Nadja withdraws several clumps of black cat hair. Muttering eldritch words of power she lets the hair drop from her hands, being caught on a previously inexistent wind. As the hair swirls around her Nadja points with one elegantly filed nail and points at Natalya, cursing her in Varisian. As the aura of misfortune settles on Natalya, Nadja gives a hard glare at Jotune. Do it now! She cries out in Elven, hoping that Jotune will understand her hidden message.

Bluff (to deliver a secret message; Jotune will automatically understand its meaning.) DC15 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32

Jotune:
Use your most powerful remaining spell upon her, she is greatly weakened

Ill Omen:

School enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]; Level witch 1

Casting Time 1 standard action

Components V, S, M (hair from a black cat)

Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)

Target one creature

Duration 1 round/level or until discharged

Saving Throw none; Spell Resistance yes

You afflict the target with bad luck. On the next d20 roll the target makes, it must roll twice and take the less favorable result. For every five caster levels you have, the target must roll twice on an additional d20 roll (to a maximum of five rolls at 20th level).

A target who can speak and has at least one free hand and who is aware of the spell and its effects (such as from a Spellcraft check to identify the spell as it is cast) can negate one reroll by spending a move action to utter a brief prayer or good luck charm to appease the spirits of ill fortune.

SA: Cast Ill Omen on Natalya. Jotune, since I went before you, you would not have tried to climb yet. She is supposed to be 10 feet above you, within range of your Color Spray

Omoro squawks in surprise as he too cannot find a good grip on the ladder. "If only my ki were stronger, I could ignore this ladder!" He tried again, so close to the target and yet so far...

That leaves actions from Calendir and Welby, still.

Male Half-elf HP: -4/9

Calendir stares dumbfounded at the woman in front of him - This face... so familiar...

He quickly turns around, placing himself in front of Natalya to protect her from missile fire, shouting to the others - "Wait!! I know this woman!! Please stop your attack - this must surely be a misunderstanding!"

Round 4

The curse settles on Natalya like a weight, causing her to slump slightly. Calendir issues a plea to the group, while Aurora fires at Natalya, the arrows simply going wide or glancing off the woman's protective spells.

Jotune casts a spell, a blast of bright colors leaping from his hand. Natalya is caught in it, but despite the curse placed on her, she still manages to shrug off the effects. "You will not topple me!"

Omoro manages to scale the ladder leading up to Natalya, moving to join Natalya and Calendir on the platform. Raven hurls her grappling hook and it catches on a exposed beam in the wall nearby. A quick tug notes that it seems to be sturdy.

Natalya gestures to Omoro, looking towards Calendir, "Protect me from him! Keep the bird away from me!"

Calendir:
You get the feeling that she might want you to try and push Omoro off the platform, but she's not doing a good job of presenting herself.

DM Bound Shade:

I don't know if this is realistic interpretation of the spell, but Calendir also considers Omoro to be a companion, though not yet a friend - so pushing him out of the platform would seem too radical an action - he will however place himself as to bar the access to Natalya - aid another for AC?

Assuming Raven's grappling hook and rope held...

Jotune shakes his head in disgust. This is turning out to not be a great day Knowing his magic had failed, and he was unable to climb the ladder, he chose the third option and attempted to scale the grappling hook/rope combination, trying to help the others.

Calendir:
You are correct, sir. I had her make a Charisma check to see if she'd be persuasive enough, as per the spell, and failed abysmally. You're free to interpret however, though. Do aid another seems like a fine option to fulfill the requirements of the spell.

Round 5

Nadja lets a crossbow bolt fly, but the bolt glances off an invisible barrier around the mage.

Calendir brandishes his blade, ready to swat at attacks on Natalya from Omoro.

Aurora fires her bow at Natalya, the arrow amazingly piercing her protections and sinking deeply into her shoulder. She screams in pain then turns to glare at the archer with fury burning in her eyes.

Jotune scrambles up the rope and joins Calendir and Omoro on the platform next to Natalya.

Welby continues his inspiring sermon, moving up to touch Aurora and grant her a bit of luck.

Omoro lashes out with his blade, but the weapon strikes on air as Calendir swats it away.

Raven leaps into the pit, sloshing through the putrid water and making her way up the ladder on the other side. She positions herself on the side opposite Jotune.
