At the Inn:
Trent nods unhappy at the prospect of leaving her slightly but grins despite it after all he had been with her all night though he was so damn tired.

Dressing quickly he waves a shy goodbye to Arastil saying quickly "I'll we will meet you there." Before heading downstairs Trent quickly pulling his longish hair, it seemed to be geting longer..how odd... into a quick but effecient tail at the nape of his neck.

Looking quickly around he walks over to the innkeeper and asks "Umm excuse me if you were looking for guards or strongmen or something...who would you go talk to get them? Like some official or something? Sorry I a new around here...if you couldn't already tell. "

Male Human Druid/Sorceror 1

Reginald smiles at Dunnely's bravery, glad that someone like him would stand up and help them. He likes the straight-forward manner of this dwarf, and wonders how many men Dunnely has. He hopes Dunnely can find them later, and he says to Leorn, "We should probably go back to the inn. I'd think he'd go there to try and find us. If we don't find him there, maybe we can split up to look for him. Someone stays at the inn, someone talks to the lizard-men, and the others try to find Trent. Does that sound good?" The way Ashley's been engrossing herself in the book, Reginald doesn't doubt that she'll volunteer to stay at the inn. He hopes the group knows how to find these lizard-men, though.

Female Human Sorcerer/1 & Oracle/1 (gestalt)

lol Reg, did u miss Ashley's last post?

Male Human Gestalt Expert/Sorceror/Magus 1

ok in hopes of meeting up with party...Depending on inn keeper's answer will post reaction

Trenton nods in understanding to the innkeeper's words and walks outside and begins to look around, he hopes he can pick out the distinctive hair color of Ashley and Terry.

Perception1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Lol well we can just put that one towards him being exhausted lol

Trenton then begins to walk around town (or towards where the innkeeper told him) still glancing about for his comrades.

Male Human Druid/Sorceror 1

Right, forgot that you already offered. Still gonna bring up the lizard-men though.

Female Human Sorcerer/1 & Oracle/1 (gestalt)

No worries ^-^

Reginald suggests, "We should meet back up at the inn in a few hours. I'll roam around, looking for Trent, if you guys are okay with that. Terry, do you know where the lizards are at?"

"Kershak said they were staying at the Kawkwall Inn. Do you know where that is, Leorn?"

I'm going to post a summery for expediency

Trent is looking for you while your are meeting with the governor. He will notice that there are no elves other than the devles in this city and those were few Trent already met. So he goes around asking if folks saw an elf witv three odd looking kids. This quickly points him to the government house.

As the rest of you are leaving the building you see a haggard looking Trent making his way wearily down the lane towards you.

Roleplay your meeting and I will post some more when I get home.

***INACTIVE***

As he's walking out of the government building, Terry looks out across the crowd. "Say, isn't that our wayward waterboy? He looks like he was out all night." He calls out "Trent! Over here!" and waves.

When he gets closer, Terry asks, "And where were--sorry! Jeez, I sound like my dad. So, rough night?"

Male Human Gestalt Expert/Sorceror/Magus 1

Trent sighs in relief once he sees Terry and strides over making his way through the crowd.

At Terry's question Trenton looks down quickly before answering "Suppose you could say that, really was just a long night." He looks up and gives a shy smile a very faint tinge coloring his face, maybe its just from the long walk around town to get here...

"So um what have you all been up to? Is that the governors house, I was asking around town after you and they pointed me here." he asks hurriedly maybe hes just out of breath.

Obviously there is something more than what Trent is letting on about his night

Terry nods slowly, frowning just a bit. "Long night. Right. Oh, we were just trying to pry some guards out of the governor before we tracked down a bunch of lizard men who're looking for us. Not much, really."

He pauses for a couple of seconds before asking, deadpan, "So, what was her name?"

Female Human Sorcerer/1 & Oracle/1 (gestalt)

Ashely laughs "I already told you guys her name. Arastil, right Trent? I'm glad you guys got along Trent, she seems reaaly nice"

If the ex-cheerleader is still mad at her former school mate she appears to have forgotten it. Or maybe she just has something else on her mind. Then, a slight frown of worry on her face Ashley asks [b]"She hasn't left yet or anything has she? She promised me some nice new silks"

Male Human Druid/Sorceror 1

Reginald laughs at Terry's bluntness, and wonders at this person they're talking about. He also wonders at how Trent managed to apparently get with a girl in just one day. His thoughts are tinged with jealousy, as relationships are a mystery he has yet to explore.

If Leorn does know where the inn is at, Reginald will say, "Well, I guess since we found Trent, I'd like to go meet these lizard-people as well." Reginald will ask Terry more questions about the lizard people, like are they cold-blooded? Do they have tails? How tall are they? etc.

Male Human Gestalt Expert/Sorceror/Magus 1

Trent blushes furiously at Terry's question anger flaring up in him overcome by chagrin.
"I...." but is cut off by Ashley and he just nods in silence to her but quickly shakes his head at her own question about Arastil leaving.

"No she intends on coming with me...I mean us...her and her guards that is. I hope that is ok Leorn....She is a very skilled swords-woman. She is teaching me how to become a spellblade as well. That's why... I am so tired she literally beat the hell out of me." He grins and pulls up the side of his shirt showing off a very colorful array of bruises set all along his ribs and most of his core. The whole time his face goes into deeper shades of red trying not to say anything else.

Bluff1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

"She is waiting for us at East gate. Wait lizardfolk? When did this happen?"

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

Reginald explains, "Terry met some lizard-people, who want to help us. Or at least, they were looking for us." He knows the mayor said the lizardfolk tribes hadn't been taken over yet, but that didn't mean these guys should necessarily be trusted right away. Reginald decides to be friendly but alert when meeting them.

Serious multi segment post coming soon

Both Martian Level 20 invader

----Segment 1----
Leorn walks up to Trent and holds out a hand. His expression is placid ”Good to see your okay.” Weather or not Trent accepts Leorn’s gesture of reconciliation is besides the point. Leorn will turn to you. ”Kawkwall us near the north gate. It’s a bit of a hike but we should get there is a little under an hour. Let’s get moving, I’d like to leave this town as soon as possible.” Leorn leads the way to the Kawkwall in.

----Segment 2----

At the inn you all see the lizardfolk loitering around the exterior of the inn. The largest, standing near eight feet in height is wearing the triceratops skull Terry had mentioned. He has his crescent sword out. He is sitting on a bench running his hand across the sharp blade of his sword. He seems to be deep in thought. The lizards are a tremendously intimidating bunch. Even compared to the orcs. Even Leorn seems nervous about approaching them. ”Okay here we go.” Leorn walks up to them and you follow. ”Excuse me hi.” The lizard captain Kershak doesn’t even make eye contact. Instead his emotionless lizard head stares straight forward and his sword. ”I am Leorn and I heard you were looking for Sorcerers.” At that the lizard turns his massive head to stare straight at Leorn. ”Wwhere?” He asks menacingly. Leorn swallows. ”Might I inquire as to why you are looking for them?”
Kershak snarls. ”Because Ssshaman wantsss to ssssee them. He sssssaysss they may be able to save ussss. Sssso we have been in dis plassse for sssseveral daysss waiting and looking for them.”
Leorn nods. ”Oh okay um sure, I guess we can talk to your shaman. The sorcerers are right here.” Leorn gestures to the four of you. Kershak stands. He approaches you, towering over even the tallest of you. The Kershak kneels before you. ”Honoured ssssorsserersss. Our sshaman wissshess to meet with you. I am Kerssshak and I will esssscort you to our home in Myyrian. Will you pleassse accompany ussss.”

Leorn steps in. ”If you could meet us at the east gate please. We have a group of soldiers there waiting to escort us. We have just a few things left to do before we are ready to set off for Myyrian. Thank you for the escort. I really appreciate it.”

Kershak nods slowly. ”Fine, eassst gate. We will wait there.” He turns to his men and snarls something and then they all get to their feet and head out. Kershak bows once more to you and follows his “men”.

----Segment 3----

Leorn leads you through the city to the southwest gate. ”Good now that we have them Drethrum can’t touch us. We have to move quickly in order to stay ahead of Xivasar’s armies. They will come looking for us eventually. I wish we could ditch Drethrum some how but that will be impossible. He’s too quick and cunning. At least we will be protected. I have some extra supplies delivered to our horses the other day so we need to load up and ride around to meet the others. Man what a crew we’ve thrown together. Far better than I had hoped. Come we must get moving.” Leorn leads you onwards.

----Segment 4----

After packing the four unicorns, Ashley is riding with Leorn. You arrive at the east gate. Quite a sight indeed. You see Dunnely and his eight rugged and grim mean looking bunch o dwarves. Arastil is there too. She is now wearing light semi revealing metal armor. She is with six stoic male delven warriors. Then you have the tall intimidating Kershak and his twelve lizardfolk. All of these ready to see you safely into the dark lands and hopefully through as well.

Arastil approach Trent and gives him a hug. ”Here we are. Like I promised. Though I feel we could have done without the dwarves. Is this truly necessary?”
”It is. Leorn pipes in. ”They’re immunity to magic is vital to our survival.
Arastil looks puzzled. [b]”Why is that I wonder. Whatever, I wont worry about it.”
Arastil notices as and snaps her fingers as though she just remembered something. ”Oh right. One second I will be right back.” Arastil runs over to the “pack man” and pulls out a lovely set of silks. ”I forgot to mention which inn to meet me at but I have not forgotten you. Here. Finest silks from my homeland. I will help you put it on when we get some privacy.”
Dunnely walks up looking cranky as usual. ”Why we gots dese elves an lizards ‘uh? Tought I was all wed nud.”
”I am willing to take any and all help I can get. It is no easy road and I don’t want to take chances.” Leorn states.
Dunnely grumbles. ”Dey gots ta werk fer dere own glory cause I aint sharing”

The Lizards pretty much stay silent.

Leorn fronts the group. ”Okay we are now on our way to the Marsh’s of Myyrian. Our goal is to cross the dark lands to Elendere where the sorcerers with further and hopefully finish their training in time to stop Xivasar for good. Thank you all for coming to our aid. There are great rewards for you and your kinsman to be had. Now let us venture forth.” With that Leorn leads the group on ward leaving the city of Bennarnum behind.

----Segment 5----
Not long after you are out of the city, you run into Drethrum. He is on foot standing in your path smoldering like a menacing harbinger of doom. Leorn and Dunnely step forward. Leorn Shouts. "Drethrum! You would do well to leave! I have the advantage now! You dare not attack lest it be your final battle! For not only do we have the sword but we have a host of capable warriors able to wield it! Clear the path now!"
Drethrum lets out a horrifying laugh that instantly puts all your guardians on edge. "You think this is going to stop me or Xivasar?" He chuckles. "To accomplish anything you need to pass through our lands to get to the only people who can train your brats! Brandon knows nothing of Xivasar's influence. There is no prophecy. You wont survive. This is a foolish endeavor cause once you...." Suddenly a loud bam is heard and Drethrum flinches as though he has been hit. The bam came from the 3 foot dwarf, Dunnely, and his revolver. "Stand dere an keep talking, I needs da target practice." Drethrum snarls at the confident dwarf and prepares a spell. Mid spell Dunnely fires again catching Drethrum in the wrist and then fires another shot but Drethrum dodges it. "RRRAAAARRR!!!" Drethrum roars and then races off as Dunnely fires a fourth after him. Dunnely looks at the pistol and grunts. "Humph. Must be gettin rusty. Damn daycare jobs dun made me soft." He shrugs and holsters the pistol. "Ignore 'im lets move on."
You move on until night fall and then set up camp.

Post all your responses to each segment then do some roleplaying. I will post again once I am satisfied

SHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Male Human Druid/Sorceror 1

-----1-----

Reginald agrees and gets moving, one hand rested easily on the shiny new sword he now carries on his side.

-----2-----

Reginald is at once excited and intimidated while looking upon the lizard-folk. In fact, his excitement is because of the intimidation. The lizard men are massive, and their weapons are probably twice as heavy as his new sword. He wonders at how much one could bench press. He likes what he's hearing, as it seems the lizards will join them after all. And they look like good body guards indeed. As Kershak bows before departing, Reginald nervously bows back.

-----3-----

Reginald is glad that Leorn is in a better mood, and he himself is more hopeful for the future. Between the dwarves and the lizardmen, he doesn't know which is more fierce, which he decides is definitely a good thing when it comes to guards. Still, a little nagging doubt in the back of his head tells him, If Drethrum can summon demons from the depths of hell, it doesn't matter how many dwarves or lizards you have. Mostly Reggy can push the nagging voice aside, though, and keep his spirits high.

-----4-----

Reginald stops his horse short of the gate for a second to look upon the assembled warriors. Their crew seems like a rather motley bunch, though a strong bunch as well. As he continues forward, he looks curiously to the dark elves, and in particular to Arastil. As she, shockingly, goes and gently hugs Trent, Reginald thinks, So, this is Trent's girl? He mentally nods his approval, and not without a few jealous thoughts. He turns his attention to the lizard men, about whom he still has so many questions. However, he refrains from asking at the moment, seeing as the group is heading out. He will ride his horse closer to them though, intending to ask some questions if they'd break the ice.

-----5-----

Reginald's good mood is cut short by the sight of him again. His horse nervously trots in place and Reggy has difficulty keeping it under control. Drethrum's laugh cuts through Reggy, sending shivers down his spine and causing him to clench his teeth tight. He's caught as much off guard by Dunnely's attack as Drethrum is. When he sees that Dunnely is gaining an advantage on Drethrum, he's ready for the group to attack. When Drethrum roars, however, Reginald's horse bucks, throwing him to the ground nearby the feet of the lizardmen. He takes a moment to get the horse back under control, and in that moment Drethrum is gone. He looks admiringly to the dwarf, who just ignored all the sheer malice and hate seeming to freeze Reginald in place.

If the lizardfolk do not start up conversation, Reginald talks to one of the soldiers, saying, "So, that was Drethrum. You guys think you can take him?" He isn't sure whether all of them speak English, but he gives it a shot anyway.

As camp's being set up, Reginald practices the few spells he's learned. He'll also offer to spar against Trent, saying, "I wanna see some of those moves that woman showed you." He says it innocently, though an unintentional innuendo is blatantly obvious in it.

Male Human Gestalt Expert/Sorceror/Magus 1

----Segment 1----
Trenton takes Leorn's hand gravely bowing his head in respect shortly whispering out "I am sorry Leorn." before letting go and following along with the rest of the group. Last nights....antics still slowing him down.

----Segment 2----
Trent can't help but stare at the lizardfolk before blowing out a breath and just leans against a nearby wall taking in what Leorn and the Lizard folk...chieftain? were saying. So many new things I swear these guys look like they are straight out of Warhammer.[i] When the chieftain approach Trent sighs looking up...and up..[i]Why does it seem everyone around here is taller than me? When the lizard man kneels Trent blinks in surprise, thats not what I thought his request would be like.

Trenton thinks over what Leorn had said their route would be like, I guess would be helpful to have people that I guess would be at home in a swamp guide us and maybe these Shamans can help us handle more magic? He slowly bows to the chieftain showing his agreement.

----Segment 3----
Trenton frowns looking at the Unicorns unsure of what to do. "Ummm is it going to be ok for me to uh be around them....." Trenton asks nervously before blushing red hot realising what the implications of that question revealed. "I am just going to shut up now. he mutters dejectedly and moves to help saddle the horses if they let him.

----Segment 4----
Trenton upon seeing Arastil suddenly feels lighthearted, not realizing being away from his only close friend...and more he supposed now, how alone he'd felt. He makes his way off the horse and returns her hug not minding the stares the others might be giving him his confidence returned with the beautiful elf's presence.

"Don't look at me the dwarves are a new one on me as well." he replies to her as he turns to stand beside her a smile showing readily on his normally reserved face.

He chcukles as Arastil shows Ashley the robes and takes the time to admire her in her battlegear...it seemed a natural look for her he then blinks and turns to the others.

"I am sorry Arastil these are my companions, Ashley you have already met, Leorn, Terry, the one with the white hair, and Reginald." He gestures to each introducing them slightly chagrined to have forgotten his manners. Then he looks to the dwarf eying him slightly noticing the firearm. Damn firearms, though even in Warhammer the dwarves possessed that technology but that would mean others would soon have it and following the course of history this world of fantasy will end and the Industrial Era will begin....which means the trees will be cut down to make room and the rivers clogged with debris. Maybe I can change that...if when I stay. he thinks to himself before bowing slightly in respect, dwarves were big on that right? "Hello my names Trenton master Dwarf I am sorry I did not catch your name." he says even as he thinks that the dwarf reminds him of a gruff drill sergeant he had once known.

When Leorn starts to speak Trenton moves over to his horse and then positions it near Terry for a moment, "That would be the woman by the way." he says in a mock conspiratorial tone flashing a ssmall grin before moving off to be near Arastil.

----Segment 5----
Trenton upon seeing the fiery man tries to draw his sword and only manages to get it drawn as Leorn confronts him. Not knowing what else to do he moves to put his horse in front of Arastil.

Upon hearing the disturbing laughter Trenton shudders...This is the man that killed Yalm, Be brave! A fierce thought races through his mind and he stops shuddering glaring at the smouldering warrior in hate. But at the man's words Trenton has doubts, What does he mean "the extent of Xivasar's influence", does that mean some of these moonelves have been corrupted? Does Leorn know? Does he suspect? he wonders as more thoughts race through his mind.

At the sound of gunfire, the sound he had almost forgotten, he looks to the dwarf and then quickly back to Drethrum. He looked like he was hurt but not nearly enough for it to be a major effect on the man. Well I suppose gun's are useful in some regards. This dwarf definitely reminds me of that drill sergeant. he thinks comically as he watches Drethrum run off.

When the camp is set off he looks towards Leorn and asks him "Leorn...what did he mean, the extent of Xivasar's influence? Do some people willingly go over to his side? Could some of the mooonelve's in this place be on his side? If so is it worth going there?" he waits for Leorn's answer before nodding and making his way to stand beside Arastil "Can I help with anything?" he asks her quietly. Though a strange thought enters his mind.

So does that make us lovers? or Dating or what? Hell it's been so long since I actually had a girlfriend and been somewhere stable enough to have one I've forgotten what you do with one. Though she is so differnt than any other girl I have ever met. What do the others think of me? What does she think? Gah just try and remain cool and don't blow it and definately don't push things. he reminds himself.

Female Human Sorcerer/1 & Oracle/1 (gestalt)

Seg 1
-----------------

Ashley nods as Leorn and Trent make amends with each other. The band had more than enough enemies without having hostility amongst themselves. Although the book was pulling at her intensely, it seemed clear that Leorn wanted all of them to go along with him to visit the Lizardmen so, sighing, she tagged along.

Seg 2
-------------------

Ashley was fascinated by the Lizardman. More than any other being she had met so far, standing in front of him really confirmed to her that she was indeed in another world (other than the Demons of course, but at that point she was so scared out of her wits that she hardly had time to think or feel anything but terror.) Although he was incredibly physically intimidating, for whatever reason she felt no fear standing before him. When Leorn introduces them and the leader rises to his full height and stands before them, she meets his gaze levelly, still feeling no fear. She does feel no small surprise though when he suddenly kneels down before them, practically begging for them to go with him. Before she can say anything though Leorn answers for them. As Kershak gathers his men and heads out, when he bows to them again, not sure of the proper response, Ashley bows back to him in return.

Seg 3
--------------------

As they made their way to the stables Ashley reflected on how everything had seemed to almost miraculously come together. Yesterday they had no one and now they had lizardmen, dwarves and, from what Trent had said, it seemed like some of the delves might even be coming along as well. It all was almost enough to make her believe that maybe there was a prophecy.

Seg 4
---------------------

Taking the time to greet Gezebelle fondly Ashley has no problem riding double with Leorn and she wraps her arms around him to keep herself secure in the saddle.

As they arrive at the East gate and see all their 'forces' arrayed before them, the first thing that goes though Ashley's mind is 'Look at her, she even looks hot in armor.' but it is no longer a mean toned thought, and she smiles widely to see the Delvish woman there, especially in the face of the overwhelming number of males that would now be comprising their group.

As Arastil immediately approaches Trent and she sees the obvious connection and familiarity between them Ashley nods mentally to herself, her suspicions as to how Trent spent his night confirmed. She's happy for the pair, and, especially with Trent's now enhanced looks and coloring, they do make an incredibly attractive couple. Seeing them and how happy they seem with each other reminds her that there are many things worth fighting for and for stopping Xivaser's tyranny.

Then Arastil seems to remember something and heads to her pack, returning with a beautiful set of silks for Ashely. Grinning hugely in absolute delight Ashley gushes as she takes them saying "Oh my Gosh! Arastil! Thank you so much! They're so beautiful! I can't wait to put them on!" and, feeling a sudden surge of affection for the woman she spontaneously gives her a big hug. Then she takes the time and care to carefully pack the silks in one of Gezebelle's saddle bags. Putting them away is hard as she really can't wait to put them on. But she realizes now is not the time or place.

Dunnely then comes up, complaining, but Ashley can't help but smile to herself at the Dwarf's grumpiness.

Seg 5
---------------

As they begin to leave the city and it's magic dampening effects the Fire and the Magic begins to rush back into Ashley. The feeling is so glorious that she actually throws her head back in ecstasy and let's out a little moan of pleasure, causing Leorn to turn around with a look of surprise on his face. But she just smiles at him, and wraps her arms around him more tightly, the unconscious change her in her personality making her much more sensitive to the feeling of his perfectly muscled body pressed up against her. 'I am never setting foot in one of those Dwarven cities again!' she thinks to herself, never wanting to be separated from her Fire again. Closing her eyes, she simply enjoys the feel of Leorn, the ride, the sunshine and most importantly the return of her Element.

Her pleasure is soon interrupted though by Drethrum showing up on the road. A spike of fear shoots through her at the sight of him but, surrounded now by powerful allies and flush in the return of her power, her fear almost instantly turns to fury. This was her enemy. She knew that he was put a puppet of Xivaser's but Xivaser was more still just a concept in her mind, Drethrum was real.

Leorn then speaks up bravely, warning off the evil man. Yet Drethrum barks right back, his laughter sending a shiver down her spine despite her anger. Yet mid speech Drethrum is suddenly and violently interrupted by Dunnely and his revolver. As the tough and confident dwarf calmly continues taking shots, both verbally and with his weapon, at Drethrum, Ashley's fondness for him rockets to a whole new level. Watching Drethrum run away she almost wants to cheer and hug the tough old warrior. But this time, at least, she doesn't.

Once they reach camp, not knowing, or really caring to be honest, much about the details of setting up, Ashley wastes no time seeking out Arastill and finding somewhere the delfess can help her change into her new silk outfit.

Terry watches the reconciliation (such as it is) without comment.

----Segment 2----

When Kershak approaches the quartet, Terry waves a bit nervously. "Sorry I didn't tell you before, but I'm still learning the ways of this world, and I thought it would have been rude to talk to you without the other three there."

----Segment 3----

Things are moving quickly now. Too bad we won't be able to avoid Drethrum, but maybe Dunnely can pop him one. Buoyed by that pleasant thought, Terry follows along.

----Segment 4----

Wow, what a crew. And that's Trent's gf? Oh, my. Bet she's mean on the horizontal, as they say.

----Segment 5----

Terry's eyes change color to a flat pale green as he sees Drethrum, his hand curling and uncurling over the hilt of his sword. After the villain runs off, Terry relaxes a bit, and his eyes return to their normal color. Just as well...I want to take you down myself.

At Reggy's question the Lizard he is asking just stares at him confused. Kershak approaches. "I am the only among thessse men who sspeak your native tongue. No I do not believe we can take Drethrum. He wieldsss great power. If he were only a ssswordssman, I could take him. My ssskillss with a blade far sssurpassss even the bessst of our generalsss but I have not a good resssiliensse to magic. It isss the only differensse maker." Kershak states seemingly quite disappointed.

At Trent Leorn responds. "Yes. In addition to forcing people to serve him through the use of the mind bending obelisk, Xivasar seems capable of influencing people by normal means. One of his strongest supporters are the Delves. That is one thing that worries me about Arastil. Though I hear it is the men who serve him loyal and in their right state of minds it seems. The delves have a dark history and the men of their clans have been tormented by the woman for centuries before they simply stole the men's free will. Xivasar gives it back and they happily serve. They are the greatest number among Xivasar's loyalists. The Melves on the other hand are his most hated foes because some of them can still wield magic. Though like Yalm, their potential is limited. Their home is heavily fortified and it is unlikely Xivasar can take it just yet, but I don't want leave too much to chance. It is the only place you all can recieve your training and I want to get their as quickly as possible."

At Ashely Arastil smiles. "Here let me help you into it." Arastil leads you away from the eyes of any males who would sneak a peek and begins to help you out of your cloths. You are stripped completely naked before she is ready to help you into your new "outfit". The first piece is the waist. A low hanging silk skirt with a sash covering front and back and a pair of silk underwear. Really comfortable stuff so far. The second piece is the top. If you want to call it that. It works more likely a silk see through bra. It wraps around just under your chest and then the two flaps that cover your breast tie just behind the neck. The silk is somewhat transparent and looks less revealing on a dark skinned person rather than Ashley's white skin. Annoying getting a good look can make out certain details on her breast. Then the next piece is the arms. Two cuffs on each arm with lightwieght sleeves made of see through silk. On cuff starts at the bicep and the other goes down to the wrist. Then the sandals are next. Nice white lacy sandals that wrap all the way up to the knees. Once your are finished Arastil pulls a hand mirrior out show give you a look at yourself. Very sexy and alluring for sure.

And Terry just chills.

Male Human Druid/Sorceror 1

In reply to the chieftain, since he finally has a chance to talk to these intriguing lizard people, he says, "Well, certainly Drethrum will not be the only enemy we face, and I am surely glad that your warriors are with us." He smiles at the lizard man, though it's hard to tell if the lizard man smiles back in kind. He continues, "So, what do they call your language? And do you think you could teach me it during our journeys?" He knows they're headed to the lizard people's swamp at some point, and he thinks it'd make a good impression and make for easier communication to know the language of the people there.

If Leorn's available, Terry will ask for more instruction on swordplay; otherwise, he'll practice the elemental manipulation spell that Yalm taught them. Afterwards he'll find Kershak. "Excuse me? Did your shaman tell you anything about us other than where you could find us?"

Sorry about being kind of terse lately. Along with the concert Thursday and a family visit, I had volunteered to run an installment of a PbP game at some point, and I found out Wednesday that "some point" meant "this next Monday." Naturally, all I had was a rough outline.

Is okay Terry, life happens. Game will still be here. I won't kick anybody out but if I hear nothing for three days I will NPC you. I hope to hear from Ashley by tomorrow evening. If not, I will move the plot along. Also, we are getting close to a point where you all will get a combat for the first time. Aren't you excited :)

Wow, I didn't even check Raventhorn's Alias's. I had no idea that was you lol. Hmmm. Maybe I can use this campaign to blackmail you hehe. Just kidding, I wont treat you any different because I know >_>. Very neat though. Best of luck with running it and I'm sorry I'm giving you such a hard time with my build.

Would it be ok to assume the girls come walking back out after they get Ash dressed? if not this post will mostly just go off after they get back.

After Trenton talks to Leorn he goes and slumps tiredly down against a tree watching everyone else, the evening with Arastil still had an exhausting effect on his body. Though he the thought brought a small smile to his features then looks down and sees the pouch of money Leorn had given him.

"Hey Leorn turns out I never got a chance to spend this. Here catch." he says tiredly as he makes a half hearted throw to Leorn before turning his eyes to watch for Arastil. He had seen her disappear with Ashley with those strange colored silks and was interested in the effect on Ashley but mostly was just wanting to be in the Delvish's woman company again.

---------------------------------
When the girls do rejoin the group Trent catch's himself staring slightly at Ashley and then turns his gaze on Arastil and a slow warm feeling spreads through him as he watches her a small smile creeping up on his face as he looks up at her.

When she gets close he says softly trying not to let the others hear him, "I think you wore me out last night." he giggles lightly and then winks up at her patting the place beside him as he turns to watch the fire in the middle of the camp (if there is one).

Female Human Sorcerer/1 & Oracle/1 (gestalt)

Sorry, had been trying to find a pic/drawing of a red-head in blue/white silks but had no luck : p And then was out all day yesterday. And for sure will check out your game Trent! Thanks! PS Will be posting as Khaladon for the moment

Ashley marvels in the silks, a huge, happy smile upon her face. As she twists and turns, trying to see every part of her barely concealed self she thinks on what she wouldn't give right now for a full length mirror. Again giving Arastil a big hug (fortunately for the mental well being of the many males in the group outside of their sight). Thanking her profusely she the smiles coyly as she says "Well, time to see what all the boys think of it eh? Isn't it fun to be able to play with their hearts and minds so easily?" and winks.

Taking the beautiful Delvish warrior's arm, the two knockouts saunter saucily back into camp, slinging sex appeal with each and every swing of their hips, each more stunning and smoking hot than the other.

Male Human Druid/Sorceror 1

Why must you play with Reggy's heart so? You are a cruel woman. XD

On Ashley's re-entry into camp, Reginald halts whatever he is doing at the time and gawks speechlessly at her. His face gets as red as her hair when he notices how transparent her new clothing is, and how incredibly sexy she is. After a few long seconds of watching her walking, Reginald forcefully tears his gaze away, hoping nobody tries to talk with him in this state. In his thoughts, he just keeps repeating, Well, damn! and he half-shakes his head in disbelief. This Ashley is so unlike that girl who was working at the cafe it isn't even funny. As he gets back to whatever he was doing, he continuously steals gazes over Ashley's way, unable to stop himself from admiring.

When the girls return from their dressing expedition Arastil goes and joins Trent where he sits sitting right next to him. The lizards and the dwarves aren't very interested in Ash's new look but Leorn can't seem to stop staring with his mouth open. Eventually he approaches her and smiles. "Um.....you look.....very beautiful.....I am not sure what I'm feeling but I.....I......I just don't know." Leorn turns away. "You look beautiful." With that Leorn pitches his tent and retires for the night rather hurriedly. The lizards sleep on the grass, the delves pitch tents as do the dwarves. You all have tents on your horses. Terry and Reginald will share a tent. Trent can have his own and so does Ashley.

Next Day

The next day comes and the party packs up camp quickly and pushes on. You guys make your way on for some ways before mid day.

Around this time you encounter a strange group of red skinned people with pointy ears riding on steeds. There are about 9 in all. They aren't wearing much but sport excellent body builder physiques and they all have an assortment of tattoos, some more than others. Your first impression is barbarians

Your party has weapons drawn and seem frightfully on edge.

The toughest of these and the one with the most Tattoos, rides up. "A strange band you are riding this close to the dark lands. We are curious about your business."

Leorn shouts "Our business? What business is it of yours who we are and what we our doing?"

The red man smirks. The appearance of these people reminds you of Drethrum a bit. There are six men and three women among them. The men man talking with you dismounts. "I am Ashal of the tribe of Umagan. We heard rumors that Drethrum was hunting someone and now we seek to see what has Xivasar so scared that he would send his top agent out all by himself."

Leorn sneers. "Damnable Relven warriors. He has already spoken to you. I can tell. Now you seek to do his dirty work don't you?"

Ashal holds his hands up in a gesture of peace. "We saw a unique opportunity. Drethrum alone in our tribe and he was wounded." Dunnely smiles with pride. "We tried to take him down there. He got away. But not before asking us to help him take down a small band of dwarves, lizards, and delves. I am surprised and it seems there are more among you than he had mentioned. Those human kids with the strange hair colors remind me of the fabled sorcerers. I thought they were all extinct. Yet there seems a good chance that some still exist. This makes you enemies of Xivasar. As his enemies, you are our friends. We seek to aid you in whatever quest you are on that would end Xivasar's reign."

Leorn shouts back. "How do we know this isn't a lie and that you simply took Drethrum's offer and are now trying to infiltrate our party so you can kill these kids in their sleep?"

Ashal's expression turns dark and he draws an odd shaped dagger from its sheath. The expression of his followers are grim. He then reaches into his pouch and pulls out some strange brown goo and rubs it all over the dagger. The others in your party are really tense and on edge. Ashal then takes the dagger and plunges it into his heart. He cries out with a fierce look on his face as the dagger goes deep. He then breathes heavily as he pulls it out. He then sheathes it and brings it to Leorn holding it up to him. "This is an oath bond and this oath I swear. If I or any other of my kind so much as attempts to betray you, then I die." The dagger glows after that statement. He then hands it to Leorn. Leorn looks surprise, as well should you all. There is an obvious mark on the mans chest where the heart is suppose to be. It has already scared with the brown goo acting as a natural clot. The goo is pulsing with each normal human heart beat.

Leorn slowly puts the dagger into his pack. "Okay, I believe you. I am sorry to put you to such extremes but these are dark times and we can trust few people from this point on. Welcome aboard." Leorn and Ashal shake hands and the party moves on now joined by the Relvish warriors.

You travel the rest of the day and set up another camp.

Reginald looks curiously at these red people, wondering at who or what they are. Are they enemies, or allies? Judging by his allies' reactions, he thinks them enemies. The apparent leader of the elves gives Reginald quite the shock when he plunges a dagger into his chest, but it becomes clearer what just happened after he explains himself. Reginald is impressed with this man's dedication to their cause, and is glad to have more allies in their group. After all, the odds are rather stacked against them at this point.

When camp is set up again, Reginald will talk some more with the lizardman leader. He wants to know more about their people. Do they lay eggs? Are they cold-blooded? He also wants to know if the leader will teach him their language.

Terry pauses, slack-jawed, in mid-lunge as Ashley and Arastil emerge. "Uhh...if anyone needs me I'll be in my bunk."

More to come later.

Male Human Druid/Sorceror 1

By the way Shano, when you said Leorn sees Ashley and pitches his tent, I lol'd so hard.

***INACTIVE***

Terry keeps quiet most of the ride, just looking around at the countryside and concentrating on not falling off his unicorn while listening to his varied compatriots talking. Did Kershak ever answer his question about what the shaman told him?

As the red riders approach, Terry picks up on the tension in the group and reaches down into his center, making sure that the storm is there and ready to be tapped. He'll look around at the other three sorcerers, trying to gauge what they might be about to do. The resolution leaves him feeling a bit whipsawed by events again. Things are being done to us and around us, and I don't like that. When are we going to be able to choose for ourselves? And this lot--Relves, delves...I wonder what's next? Oh, and we're 'fabled,' are we? Hmmm....

After the relves join the party, Terry will make his way over to Leorn. "What Ashal there said about hair color and us being sorcerers--are we going to have to cover our heads if we want to avoid being spotted for what we are? Oh, and why were you all so nervous about meeting the relves?"

Male Human Gestalt Expert/Sorceror/Magus 1

Trenton eventually passes out not even aware that he had outside the tent, he was that tired.

In the morning he felt more like himself and enjoyed the ride immensely occasionally stealing small glances at Arastil not even minding when she caught most of the time. I wonder if this is what they mean puppy love? Oh well

When the red riders had appraoched Trenton had placed a hand on the hilt of his sword his magic coming up from his body easily at his call. But over the course of conversation between Leorn and the apparent leader Trent grew confused though when the leader plunged his own knife into his body shock crossed his face in a broad stroke. And hell, he lived! This place is weirder and weirder

By the time they had stopped for the night Trent was glad he had gotten a full nights rest, saddles he found out HURT after hours and hours of riding in one. He hurt in areas....well nevermind where he hurt.

Though after a few moments Trenton walks over to Arastil and asks "Arastil? Who are these Relves, you mentioned them before but well I was distracted."

Female Human Sorcerer/1 & Oracle/1 (gestalt)

Ahahaha! You guys are great! From Leorn's 'pitching a tent' to Terry's "I'll be in my bunk (more to come later)" I had a great laugh over these last posts. Keep it up! lol

Ashley smiles widely as she 'unconsciously' strikes an innocently seductive pose. She is very pleased with the reaction from the Leorn and her fellow humans. Well, most of them anyway. She knew that Trent only had eyes for Arastil but she was well beyond any possiveness or jealousy anymore. After all, the dark elf was her only girlfriend in this world. And more than that, Ashley really liked her company. Plus how could anyone be mad at someone who had given them such a fabulous outfit.

As the others make their way to their tents, Ashley says her goodnights and heads to bed as well. She does not sleep much though, instead ending up staying up late studying the book of Necromancy again. The next morning finds her tired, weak and uncoordinated once more.

As the party runs into the group of red skinned humanoids Ashely's first reaction is to perk up in interest at the finely muscled forms. Yet riding so close to Leorn she feels the elf tense up and her own guard goes up and she feels the Fire rising in her in response. Watching the play of events closely, she gasps out loud when the leader plunges the knife into his own chest. She lets out another gasp though as the dagger is pulled out again yet the man remains alive and relatively unharmed.

When it is finely determined that the warriors shall be joining their group Ashley finally relaxes, glad to have the fierce fighters alongside them on their dangerous quest before them. Although she is quite curious about the three new women in the party the Mistress of Fire keeps finding her gaze being drawn to the perfectly sculpted form and savage but noble bearing of the Relvish leader.

Once they reach camp she moves over to the Relvish women introducing herself with her most charming smile "Hi! I'm Ashley. You'll have to forgive me but I am new to your world and customs. Perhaps you could tell me a bit more about your customs and ways? Cuz after all, with all these boys around, we girls have to stick together, right?"

Male Human Druid/Sorceror 1

Is Ashley going to wear the silks the next day? I would think she wouldn't sleep in them, but who knows.

Female Human Sorcerer/1 & Oracle/1 (gestalt)

At the moment, at least until she can wash the robe, the silks are the only thing she's got. As for sleeping, seeing as she's Fire I'm sure she'll be warm enough so she probably won't be sleeping in much of anything at all ; )

Oops. Just forgot sorry.

Terry and Kershak:

Kershak makes no expression but speaks all the same. "He said you may be vital to our clans survival against Xivasar and that we must find you and bring you safely too him. Nothing else." Kershak stays quiet the rest of the day.

Reginald:

You talk with Kershak as he is the only one among his people that can speak common/english. He seems to be very anti social though but he answers all your questions all the same. He explains that there are many different variations of lizardmen and that Kershak and his men were the primary warrior breed. They lay eggs, the mothers can yield as many as six children in one sitting and anywhere from 3 to 10 times that in a lifetime. There are four different Lizard variants among the social class. The Warriors which is Kershak's breed, also known as Rexes, then there is is the Terrans which are a flying breed scout class, good for delivering messages, then there is the hunting breed known as Raptors, they hunt the food down. Then there are the matron breed, the females who lay the eggs and care for the young. The non social classes are three different variants of grunts, Megasaurs are colossal builders. Fewest in number but most powerful, used mostly for building and carrying large shipments and providing an edge in battle. Then the compy's squeaky scouts and tunnel crawlers. They help with earth digging and infiltrating enemy encampments and finding potatoes, the way Kershak talks about potatoes makes it sound like a lizardfolk delicacy. Then the Trihorns. Another large greed used mostly as pack animals and battering rams and infantry tanks in times of battle. The last group mentioned is the Shamans. The few and rare breeds. They see visions and communicate closely with the wildlife. They sound like they are either oracles or druids most often. Kershak will not understand cold-blooded. He is a primitive for sure. He also does not know how to teach other humanoids their language as there are six different variations of Lizardfolk that involve and lot of snarling, hissing, and a lot of different throat sounds. You'd never be able to speak such a language unless you were a lizard but he does try to help you understand the Rex form of their language. Int check DC 15 to understand. Any less and it you don't get it. If you score less than 5 you get a headache just trying.

Terry to Leorn:

Leorn sighs. "Most people who were alive during the reign of the last sorcerers or have heard the tales will recognize you by your vibrant hair colors more than anything. Thing is, we can't really hide you at this point. Drethrum is following us and it would seem to our benefit that people recognize you as everyone who has seems to want to help us. I will leave hiding up to you. The cloaks I gave you have hoods so feel free to wear them if it helps you to feel more comfortable."

Trent:

"Relves are also know as Red elves. They are tribal elves who depend on physical toughness and talismanic tattoos to stave off attacks and damage instead of armor. Never get on their bad side. They are fierce swordsmen and women who are empowered by the tattoos they are given and their physical prowess. Even dwarven guns are challenged by these battle hardened individuals. The are grounded in strict rituals and what I hear are very susceptible to the power of the obelisk, at the same time they are not easy to control by the one who uses the obelisk. Strange. They have unparalleled sword skills that put any would be sword user and great warrior to shame. An interesting breed to be sure."

Anyone who wishes to know what Relvish babes look like ;):

There are three girls among the Relves who seem to fit into three different age categories. The three are also most diverse by their different hair colors.
The oldest, looks to be in her early thirties, has spiked red hair and a ton of tattoos and a few scars. She also looks the toughest wielding a massive curved blade, her muscle definition is perfect without even an ounce of body fat to be seen. She also seems the most fiery of the bunch as if she is ready for trouble and would even enjoy such.

The second looks to be of college age, early to mid twenties at best. She has blonde shoulder length hair that seems to contrast nicely with her shiny red skin. She has a much calmer and more composed expression as if she has everything altogether. She has a single odd shaped longsword. She also has fewer tattoos than the older girl. She carries herself with a sort of finesse that you would only see in professional competative fencers at the Olympics. She also seems to hold postures that show off her more alluring "assets" as if she wants men to drool at her.
The third and youngest looking girl seems to be about your age. She has long black hair tied off into a ponytail, rather than coming out of the back of her head, she has the ponytail coming out the right side of her head and leaves her left eye covered by her bangs. She only has one tattoo on the right side of her face. She looks spunky and anxious. She seems to be the youngest of all the warriors present. She has a large sword that looks like a large katana. She is always moving, as if she has a hpyeractive disorder of some sort. Even standing still she keeps fidgeting. Also, of the three girls, the youngest doesn't leave Ashal's side very much. At the camp she is sitting with him. All the girls have awesome looking bodies. The bodies of professional athletes. Very nicely sculpted.

Ash:

Since the younger of the three doesn't stick with the other two, I assume Ash you are talking to the two older girls. The red hed smirks at you and the blonde giggles and says to the red head. "She thinks we are "girls". The blonde looks at you and speaks very clear English accent voice. "It is obvious that you are not aware of our customs. We cease to be girls when we get our first tattoo and that is usually at the age of thirty five. I haven't been a girl for near a hundred years and Xia here hasn't been one for almost a hundred eighty." The blonde sighs. "I am Reyha and the this is Xia a tattooist." Xia bows. "Good to see you." Xia speaks with a really strange accent as though English wasn't her first language and barbaric was. Xia continues. "You are little girl. We Jak-sha, We have been for many years. You make kill, you can be Jak-sha too."
Reyha steps in. "I know you are not one of us so you don't need to worry about what Xia says. Next to Ashal, she is the most powerful warrior among us here and it is her responsiblity to award others in our group with tattoos that not only recognize achievements but also empower us as warriors. Our training regiment was very difficult. Gene and I are part of a generation that mixed with one of the human cultures northeast of here to try and learn about they're society. She and I have a strong cultural mix but it has helped our tribe out in dealing with these more "civilized" tribes. Also Gene taught much to her father Ashal as well. Oh in case your wondering, Gene is the youngest of us. She is here at her mothers bidding but Ashal ordered her to keep close to him. She just got her first kill tattoo about a month ago and she is anxious to obtain more. It is amusing that Ashal is our captain but his mate has more tattoos than he, Gene wants to do the same as well." Reyha moves in a little closer. [b]"So Ashley, what is it like being a sorcerer? I have met one only once a long time ago but I was still a "girl" at the time and had no place to speak with him. So you get to be my living example."

Male Human Gestalt Expert/Sorceror/Magus 1

Trenton listens to Arastil's explanation and nods and then bursts out into a smile. "Well then I guess we should practice then?" he continues to smile at her and bows as if asking her to dance.

"As I remember you are still my teacher, in many areas" he adds teasingly his true nature bubbling up.

By the end of Reginald's conversation with the lizardman Kershak, he knows a great deal more about the lizardfolk; including that their language is beyond his ability to comprehend, and definitely impossible for him to speak. His head hurts from trying to distinguish between the subtle differences in the hisses and snarls. He decides to skip practicing his powers after that, as focusing like that would probably just amplify his headache even more, and instead slips out of camp on his own to take a stroll.

He does a great deal of thinking along the way. Reggy thinks about the headstrong dwarf Dunnely, about the relves and how trustworthy they can be, about all of the incredible world that they've dropped into. He sits down underneath a tree to relax and smile to himself, for although there is much in this world that's dangerous and horrible, this is a land of freedom, and of adventure. He stays out there until it's time to go to bed, then slips back into camp.

Female Human Sorcerer/1 & Oracle/1 (gestalt)

Will post more re the Relvish girls when I get home but have to post this now before our evil GM gets in! :D

While speaking to the Relvish women Ashely catches Reggy slipping out of camp on his own, excusing herself for a moment she hurries over to Leorn and speaks quietly "It looks like Reggy wants some alone time but it seems to me that might not be too safe. Maybe you could have some of our more stealthy guardians follow him without his knowing it?"

Regardless of Leorn's answer she quickly makes her way back the the Relvish women, wanting to finish the interesting conversation. She figured the boys could handle things without her for at least a little while.

***INACTIVE***

Terry thinks for a moment about Leorn's answer. "So right now, while the four of us are learning to control our powers, we're more valuable against Xivasar as symbols? People will follow us because of the promise of what we're turning into? Huh. No wonder I feel like a figurehead. At least we're well-protected while we come into our own--thank you for that, Leorn."

During the evenings and pretty much any time he's not riding, Terry continues to focus on practicing the Elemental Manipulation spell, trying to build his spellcasting endurance, and doing sword drills. Ever since the flight from Yalm's tower, he has been less social and more driven, pushing his abilities as hard as he can. (With the occasional pause to surreptitiously ogle Ashley and the youngest relve woman, of course!)
