End Round 1

The dog like creatures descended from the area near the statue of Lamashtu. One howled and the sound was so terrifying but the battle tested party was immune to the fear that sought to consume them. The dogs attempted to attack various party members with only the paladin being bitten. The rest of the party launched a counter attack, more or less successful. However, while the hounds have been hurt, the wounds struck have not done as much damage as the party thought that they should.

Round 2 begins.

I do have Iron Will, already added into his Will bonus, and unfortunately no Garridan is not within 10' of Jark. He couldn't stay that close without provoking AoO's from those stupid hounds while trying to cast. Not that the +4 bonus would have mattered anyway lol.

Male Silvanesti Elf Wizard (5)/Wizard of High Sorcery (10)/Archmage (5)

Garridan:
When a yeth hound howls or barks, all creatures except other evil outsiders within a 300-foot spread must succeed on a DC 12 Will save or become panicked for 2d4 rounds. This is a sonic mind-affecting fear effect. Whether or not the save is successful, an affected creature is immune to the same hound's bay for 24 hours.

2d4 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4

Panicked

A panicked creature must drop anything it holds and flee at top speed from the source of its fear, as well as any other dangers it encounters, along a random path. It can't take any other actions. In addition, the creature takes a –2 penalty on all saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. If cornered, a panicked creature cowers and does not attack, typically using the total defense action in combat. A panicked creature can use special abilities, including spells, to flee; indeed, the creature must use such means if they are the only way to escape.

Panicked is a more extreme state of fear than shaken or frightened.

Male Varisian 2nd level Monk | HP 20/20 | AC 16 | T 16 | FF 12 | CMD 20 | Fort +5 | Ref +7 | Will +2 | Init +4 | Perc +7 | Sense Motive +6

Is the door to the "south" of the statue, near Garridan, visible? If so... unfortunately I think given the panicked state he'll make a mad dash for those doors... Disregard that, I forgot we came into this room from there.

Garridan feels a terrible fear overcome him suddenly as another of the dogs let out another howl. After seeing Wasp go down with a single hit he suddenly feels overcome with undeniable fear, with one last fearful glance at his comrades, he turns and runs from the room through the same door they entered.

Well, this sucks. Double move to run away from the battle.

Male Silvanesti Elf Wizard (5)/Wizard of High Sorcery (10)/Archmage (5)

Disabled (0 Hit Points)
When your current hit point total drops to exactly 0, you are disabled.

You gain the staggered condition and can only take a single move or standard action each turn (but not both, nor can you take full-round actions). You can take move actions without further injuring yourself, but if you perform any standard action (or any other strenuous action) you take 1 point of damage after completing the act. Unless your activity increased your hit points, you are now at –1 hit points and dying.

Healing that raises your hit points above 0 makes you fully functional again, just as if you'd never been reduced to 0 or fewer hit points.

You can also become disabled when recovering from dying. In this case, it's a step toward recovery, and you can have fewer than 0 hit points (see Stable Characters and Recovery).

Round Two did not go well for the party. Despite their best attempts two party members, their arcane casters, were taken out of the fight. The elf by damage and the sorcerer because of fear.

One yeth hound, however, was taken out of the fight, as it fell asleep.
