Okay I dont want anyone to feel that they are missing out on any thing thats why I asked about the comments or questions. Beaurgard you havent missed anything at all.I love all the charcaters personas and the way you all roleplay them. One thing about me as a DM I tend to call everyone by charcater names alot in and out of game. As well as treat the Eberron world as a real world so it has a real world feel, so all of you can have fun. thank you Korihor and Lumen for your explaining your characters base feeling on why they do what they do. And if you feel you missed any thing let me know I will help you and I think everyone else will too.

"Feelings. A commonly used euphemism for emotions. Typically indicating periods of romantic interest, sadness, or grief. Also known to negatively influence behaviour of both initiator and recipient, particularly when found in adolescent humans or similar creatures."
Thankfully I do not have to experience such tumultuous biochemistry.

Mostly it's the differences in playstyle between live table top & PbP. As I originally indicated to Shadowwalker, this character is one I first rolled up when Eberron came out in 3.5 & our gaming group was really excited about it. I had a blast playing him & was one of (possibly the) most experienced role-player in the group (not counting the DM). I was consistently picking up on things going on that noone else even had a clue about.
Now I'm not the big fish in the small pond, which is great, it just means I have to step up my game, & I'm feeling rusty.

Lol, I hear you, Beauregard. I've DM'd since 1st edition, and played all of the editions. I don't get to tabletop much anymore (only once, this summer, for the first adventure of Jade Regent. I DM'd. Haven't been a player in...5 years, easy.) For me, this is more of an experiment in writing. I deal with writers day in and day out (just recieved a fantastic 1st draft last night I commisioned. :D) so I wanted to see how I could use this "riffing" to improve how I see conversation flow.
My only comment would be sometimes I have a difficult time telling what is actually being said, because there is not always spell-checking or format-checking going on. :) Pulls me out of the story.
Also, I hide a lot of my ooc, etc. And when someone "replies" to it, it takes it out of "spoiler"...which made the original spoiler pointless. :(
Who reads all the spoilers? I'm curious. I don't. If it's between the DM and you, or spoilered without telling me to access it, I have never read it.

I love "hearing " Engineer #3. I read the posts hearing an deep echoing metallic bass voice with perfict diction but little to no inflection.
Very fun.
Awesome. That's exactly what I am shooting for. Much like a robot southern gentleman.

I read all the spoilers when I am not in a campaign, or when I am re-reading old posts in a campaign (which I generally do every couple of months, particularly if it has started to slow) but yes, I understand; I prefer to leave spoilers closed when they are information that might affect the campaign & I wouldn't know the information within.

I ran a campaign for a short while, where a player would come to the discussion board, meta-gaming (Everyone who's not already captured, they are going to ambush you), and taking about every single spoiler, even after asked not to. Kind of 'spoiled' the whole game.

Right...why the crap was he "just some guy" hired to mug, and now, less than twelve hours later, he's released and so hardened and desperate a criminal that he's mugging someone before 11 a.m., right in front of the orphanage the Priest he mugged was investigating.
"Daxur and Lumen you notice the same man #3 does to be one of the off duty guards that you captured in the alley."
These guys were off duty guards?? Like, working for Skellerang in the watch? Did anyone else miss this?

Although the comment about the off duty guard was not directed to me, Zevon did recognize one of the attackers of some 12 hrs earlier: so I'm surprised as well that he is already back on the street.
I just checked - Skellerang did mention to us (during our first meeting) he could not trust everyone in the watch...
Anyway, I think it is too much a coïncidence & Zevon is taking steps accordingly.

HOUSE RULE: In melee combat using an action point gives you another attack in a full round. (example; hobgoblin moves 30ft. drawing his waepon a he moves. Attacks with his greatsword (misses ac) spends 1 action point and attacks again)
Looking at my notes found this on Action points house rule I use in my games. sorry I didnt notify ahead of time.

understood & this means I do not have to take the feat "action surge" (IIRC) from Eberron campaign (spend 2 action points for an extra action)

Which then leads to the question: For those of us who really wish to be disgusting, Is Action Surge an allowed feat & if we take it, does that mean we could spend 3 action points to make 2 additional attacks? Further clarification, later, when some of us will have multiple iterative attacks from a higher BAB, what BAB do the extra attacks from action points use?
No, I am not likely to be that individual. I just figured it might be a good idea to get as many of those questions answered now as possible..

I am heading to L.A.
Again, lol.
This time I am actually going to go play some D&D with my friend Keith, so I figured it is of actual interest to you guys, being as he created the world we're playing in, lol.
I got invited to a celebrity D&D tournament with him, so we're heading down to goof this weekend, and then meet with the producer of "The Four Feathers". Trying to get him on a film I'm producing as execturive producer. Here's hoping. :)
Anyway, I'll try to keep tuned in, but it'll be from my phone and iPad 2. Cheers!

It was fantastic. Gamed with some friends on the Thundercats show, the band Godshead, and one of the head producers of the Resident Evil franchise. We were at Keith's table.
I played a cocky jock fighter, who took nothing serious, and felt there were no lethal dangers to threaten their 'fun little exploration.' It took a bit until he...realized...they were in danger. Int 8 and all, lol.
Zombie cats, collapsing rooms, shadows, and dwarf liches triumphed over. The cleric female, who liked my character, held her younger sister as she died in her arms. In the final battle, I threw myself in front of a killing blow ment for her, but was dropped into unconsciousness. Our dwarf struck down the lich, who possessed my body. I struck down two more characters, the warlock and the pyro wizard. The dwarf struck me down with a double critical and sole action point, invoking his dwarven ancestors to help release my bogy, and save me.
The cleric burned an action point to return me, along with a critical religion check in her prayer, and a moving speech ending in a kiss. I rolled two d20's...one red for death, one Runelords white for life. Red 6, white natural 20.
Six months later, the cleric and I were six months pregnant, having married. With a secret that she was seven months pregnant...the bachelor party that had started this whole mess, where I lit a cat on fire...I had also hooked up with the cleric...and didn't recall, as I was drunk. Whoops.
Anyway, fantastic times had all around.
