Male Tiefling

The old man rises, moves into the small kitchen area, comes back a few minutes later with mis-matched mugs filled with an amber liquid. He hands one to Rev, sits back down and sips. Waiting to see if there is more, turning over what the younger man said in his mind.

Larko
Larko gets dark beer, although one whose alchol content is nearly non-existant.

With a drink, the meals range from 1sp-3sp. Good meals but nothing horribly extravagant.

Jask

Rev is waiting for Jask to say something. That, or he just doesn't know what else to say on the matter. He takes the mug. What's in it?

Larko
If the woman comes back to take their food order, Rev orders Red cabbage, potatoes with gravy, and roasted meat. Simple and savory.

"There isn't even a sign outside." He remarks to Larko.

Male Tiefling

Combat:

If she is still standing when it's Rev's turn he will Inflict Light Wounds (should she fall down before it gets to be his turn, he would see if she's still alive and keep anyone from finishing her off, if at all possible.)
Rev will change out 1, 2nd lvl spell - in this case Detect Thoughts - so he can use inflict

Rev to Hit 1d20 + 3 - 2 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 - 2 + 3 = 23
Her save: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Damage: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (7, 5) + 5 = 17

Rev Combat Casting 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 7 - 2 = 25

"Time to say goodnight, darling." Rev very gently touches the other Tiefling. The light brush of his fingers impart a torrent of negative energy.

River of Tears - Round 4

"Լավ գործ է: Հիմա, այս անգամ հարվածել է նրան, խնդրում եմ" Her voice reasonable but a little frustrated. It must not bother her that much because she slashes at Melilot twice but the second, perhaps desperate attack, chitters over her armor. (Melilot take 17 hit points.) The shadow, as the vast majority of the shadows met in this place, misses.

Shadowtongue:
Good job. Now this time hit her, please.

"Do not be distracted by her movements, aim for her weakpoints. Rev, she is not like you, she is not trying to be good." (Azhar activates Hunter's Bond, +1) He follows up his advice with a powerful blow that cuts into her thigh. Unlike most people hit by the large swordmen, she does not fall.

Again Gravlax strikes double-handed at the woman with his dueling sword. However, this time Sian is ready and dodges enough for his blow to be cushioned by her armor.

Amaya struggles to her feet then finds her sword, as soon as the muck is spit from her mouth she picks back up the song.

And shoots another arrow at the freak. The press of Rev and Azhar and everyone else in his way keeping the arrow from getting near the target.

Melilot swings at the woman who seems intent on killing her and this time the blow lands. And despite taking a blow from both heavy hitters, the tiefling is still going strong, clearly the freak Cassian dubbed her.

Mathalen jumps down, moving through the sludge, which must be slippery based on the wreck of a swing she makes. She tries to balance herself and keeps from falling. Janiven takes a step back in the muck, getting a better angle on the tiefling foe. Her arrow just barely misses. Fiosa, trying to keep Melilot on her feet, channels again. (Injured parties heal 1d6 ⇒ 1 hit points.)

"Time to say goodnight, darling." Rev very gently touches the other Tiefling. The light brush of his fingers impart a torrent of negative energy. Her flesh lightens with the rot of the touch.

Rev:
Your post said inflict light, but Rev rolled 2d8 which is inflict moderate. Let me know which one you wanted to use.

Active buffs: Bardic (+1 competence to hit/damage); Bless (+1 morale to hit); Hunter's (+1 to hit/damage)

GM:

Lacedon2 -37 destroyed
Lacedon3 -57 destroyed
Jabe -38 destroyed

Azhar -6 diseased
Melilot -34
Rev -0 sickened

Azhar quickly steps up, following. His blow this time hits her full in the back. Azhar winces at the destructive power of Rev's touch. For some reason he seems more affected by that then metal cutting through flesh. He mutters, "Good night, darling." under his breath as he strikes again. Sian follows Melilot to the floor, also bleeding out. As the tiefling falls there is a confused moan from the wall where the shadow disappeared, a sound that is cut off suddenly.

"The street where I ran into the gargoyle isn't that far away from here." She shrugs as well, "I wasn't planning on going anywhere."

The monkey luxuriates in the attention, looking mildly annoyed when it's over.

After the River of Tears
Once Sian's fate is decided and people take at least her possessions for her assassination attempt and others are checking in the muck of the pool for treasure after some sharp sighted person spots gold, Cassian heads out the door above and behind the waterfall, scouting ahead.

The Shadow's Throat
Immediately outside the doors the walls change from worked marble to impossbily smooth, polished gray stone, shimmering with moisture. Attached near the top is Cassian's rope descending into darkness. Moving down the steep incline with the aid of the rope is easy for everyone, but the rope ends about twenty feet shy of the floor leveling out. DC 14 Acrobatics (take-10 possible) for the last bit or 1d6 points of damage when you slip and stumble to the bottom. All of your companions make it to the bottom uninjured.

GM:
Fiosa 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

When you get to the bottom and everyone is quiet, you can hear what sounds like a distant, beautiful voice singing wordlessly in a low rhythmic chant. Light is needed for those without darkvision and (unless someone objects) Janiven pulls out an everburning torch.

Moving down the tunnel towards the music you find yourself at a junction, Cassian waiting for the group. Behind him is a door with text carved into the wall above. The music is coming from a passage off to your right which bends and twists.

Infernal:
Carved above the door is the word "Observation".

Cassian points in the direction of the music and whispers, "There's some mutilated guy hung up by chains in there. The chains appear to be alive... the sound you're hearing is them sliding together."

Rygel nods seriously, then mimes playing a fiddle.

Observation Chamber

Infernal:
The happy, chatty song seems to be the rhyming of phobias and mental illnesses. Once in a while a random cure for an ailments pops up, but it seems... unordered.

Past the door, a set of stairs climbs up. Echoing down from the top, a cheerfully voice singsongs its way in infernal. As soon as the less quiet members of the group make their presence known the voice cuts off.

At least until you make it to the top of the stairs. The room you find as wooden wall painted a somewhat nauseating yellow color. Ruined heaps of what may have once been chairs and a table lie scattered over the floor. In one wall there is a heavy oak door with a large lock on the handle, a message burnt into the front.

Infernal:
"Abandon All Hope."

Other that the stairs you just ascended there are four other staircases leading out of the room, a wooden sign hangin above each.

Infernal:
Above 'your' entrance: "Exit"
Above the other four stairs: "Arachnophobia"; "Ophidiophobia"; "Hematophobia"; "Pyrophobia"

End Dungeon Crawl Mode - Healing in the previous areas via flex is of course permissible. Amaya's bonus to perception/initiative/etc is not longer applicable.

A few moments after someone makes it to the yellow room, the same chirpy voice, "You poor things!" Her voice full of sympathy, "You are suffering so from baseless fears!"

The voice turns more cheerful, "Not to worry! Not to worry. I know just the thing. Please, step into the therapy chambers and face your terrors." The voice bright, hopefully, "When you’re all cured, bring me your prizes and I’ll pronounce you cured." A pause, slightly quieter, "You do want to
be cured, don’t you?”"

Perception DC 20:
The voice is coming from the ceiling, between the junction of two beams, but when you look up you are unable to see the person speaking.

Acrobatics take-10

Gravlax has no trouble dropping to the ground without injury.

Cassian wrote:

Gravlax hates to ask, but feels he must whisper the question in response: "Is the guy alive?"

Observation Chamber

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

Gravlax points upward, in the rough direction that he hears the voice coming from.
