Round 2:

Azhar flashes a glance at Rev, "Another one? Do you think there's something we need to do to shut this thing off?" he grins, "I can stay here while the rest of you search things out, if you'd like." he sounds like he'd probably enjoy that choice, "but if it's a matter of shutting it down...maybe we need to get to where the mirrors can't see us? ..or maybe try to break them? ..or the passwords?"
Azhar does not appear to be worried. Yet.

For some reason Azhar does not entirely believe Rev's words. His eyes narrow slightly before returning to normal. He does believe in his big brother, and if not, he will be there. "Awright, Rev. But if you need anything, you let me know. Y'hear?" His eyes drift to where Rev placed the papers. Not like he could do anything about it now anyway, even if Rev isn't telling him the whole truth, this was Rev's bailiwick after all.

Rev nods. "Alright, I'll let you know."

She smiles, nods, but there is a hesitancy in her movements, a second guessing of what would be her natural instincts would normally be. But her smile gets a little stronger, "You don't have anything to apologize for. Really."

Standing up to her full two and three-quarter height, "Thank you for the dress and for the coffee."

Jask
Jask looks around the small, neat, but cluttered abode. And, yes, many of the surfaces are covered with books. "A few," the old man muses, "There was one that was a treaties on the other planets, theories in a network of teleportation portals that connect all of the local celestial bodies."

"Thank you for coming, you were a bright spot in an otherwise dreary evening." He smiles at her, helps her out of the carriage, instructs the driver to wait for him a moment, and then takes her hand. "If you say so." Not convinced. "But on the same vein, neither do you." Sincere. "And, you're welcome. I'll pick up more coffee soon. Would you like some when I do?" He asks.

Tower of Perpetuity - Round 2

Mathalen, unable to do anything to hurt the shadows, goes light on her feet, ready to dodge the creatures takes a step back into the hallway so as to not block anyone elses movement. Janiven takes careful aim with a second arrow, however her arrow doesn't go near the shadow striking at one of the mirror behind it. The surface of the northern mirror cracks slightly as the arrow slams into it. Amaya switches to her longsword, clearly getting ready to help with flanking even though she can't damage the shadow either.

Rev steps protectively in front of Fiosa and channels the power of Pharasma, letting positive energy flow from his holy symbol. It is not the blinding sunlight the halfling unleashed, rather it is soothing and cool and as filled with swirling purple and greys as the tiefling himself.

Rev:
I moved you back towards Fiosa with a move action. Which also gave you a much better line of effect to the shadow. And the shadow failed its save. :)

Next round let me know if Rev wants to wait until after the shadow goes, in case another one pulls free from the mirrors.

The newly risen shadow moves past Azhar not caring about the closer targets. Trying for the creature that struck the mirror instead. (Azhar AoO: 1d20 + 11 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 11 - 2 = 211d8 + 7 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 7 + 6 = 21; Melilot AoO: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 161d4 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14) His carelessness enough to destroy him. Only to be replaced seconds later by another shadow.

Gravlax moves to give Azhar flanking on the shadow creature should it head towards the pair that can channel positive energy. And puts his mirror away.

Fiosa moves back, considering the ever appearing creatures, and holds until there are more to damage at once.

Since her first effort proved at least somewhat successful, Melilot repeats the action, although she adds a movement to the back this time, getting a better angle on the creatures as they emerge and on the mirrors that they crawl from. Her magical projectile does damage the shadow.

Azhar flashes a glance at Rev, "Another one? Do you think there's something we need to do to shut this thing off?" he grins, "I can stay here while the rest of you search things out, if you'd like." he sounds like he'd probably enjoy that choice, "but if it's a matter of shutting it down...maybe we need to get to where the mirrors can't see us? ..or maybe try to break them? ..or the passwords?" Azhar does not appear to be worried. Yet. He also steps up and swings at the newly emerged shadow, destroying it.

With a sigh, Cassian puts his bow away and draws his rapier, curious to see if anything will get through the gauntlet of Melilot and Azhar.

Mathalen moves down the hallway, making sure that there is nothing in that direction creeping up. Janiven fires at the black surface again, cursing softly when the arrow doesn't strike hard enough to damage the mirror. Amaya readies to provide flanking for anyone who needs it.

Rev holds out Pharasma's symbol ready to channel.

Another shadow emerges from the mirror, immediately sinking into the stone, no doubt planning on moving to attack those trying to destroy the mirrors.

Rev:
The shadow cannot be affected by channel energy when in the stone because there is no line of effect.

"I like the idea of destroying their home. Hopefully that will work." Gravlax moves up to the mirrors, thwacking at the surface. Sadly he doesn't have the muscle mass needed to break the metallic surface.

Fiosa continues to hold, waiting to see if she can be useful.

Melilot switches her aim to the mirrors. Both of her stones thwack against the southern mirror, greatly damaging the metal.

Azhar also swings (high over Gravlax's head) into the northern mirror (leaving the southern one to Melilot for now since she only has a proper angle on that one). His heavy blade hits heavily, partially cracking the metal badly.

Rapid Shot, Deadly Aim, Point Blank included:

To Hit: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Damage: 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18

Round 4:

Gravlax will move to provide flanking for those with magic weapons as needed.

GM Round 4:

shadow 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 211d6 ⇒ 4

Azhar:
Gozran 16/after work, after useless library
Amaya does happily agree to go for an afternoon walk, falling in beside him. There is a silent reminder in Yuuki's glance to bring her daughter back before the twilight hour.

The couple draws a few looks as they walk along, mostly by a few people that Azhar would recognize as common customers at the Glassworks.

Gravlax:
Gozran 13/happiness
She squeezes his hand back as he interlaces his fingers with his, soft smile playing over her lips. She lays back against him, still connected, a wiry human blanket. "hi"

Azhar smiles at Yuuki, as well as most of the people along the way. If he is not already, his hand seeks Amaya's to hold as they walk. He steers them in the direction he believes Mathalen had her altercation with the gargoyle. As they walk, he apparently becomes increasingly interested in the architecture of the buildings in the area. Especially with anything that might possibly have a chance of becoming mobile.

many such or only a few?
He glances over at Amaya, stopping and smiling apologetically while facing her and taking her other hand. "Sorry for being so distracted, love." He leans forward, looking to give her a soft kiss on the lips, which could easily turn into something a bit more depending on her reaction.

Azhar switched to his lucerne hammer, (if he hadn't already the round before), bashing the mirror over Gravlax's head. He may not say it verbally, but he is totally thinking two-handed power attack, bruiser, bruiser!

"hi" he says back, gently kissing whatever part of her is closest to his lips.

He closes his eyes and inhales deeply, then opens them again. "Not dreaming," he says, pleased.

Round 4:
A bored Cassian begins juggling his rapier.

GM:
Gozran 15/Calseinica
Cassian laughs. "I'd be interested to see him try. At least then he'd have to show himself, and I could cut his throat."

Round 4:

Rev continues to stand ready to channel positive energy if a Shadow should show it's shadowy hide and hurt those breaking the mirrors.

Rinse and repeat.
2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10 positive energy - if can affect one or more shadows.
1d20 ⇒ 8 save for shadow
1d20 ⇒ 10 save for another shadow
1d20 ⇒ 1 save for another 'nother shadow, and lets hope there are no more than that.

Before he lifts her down from the carriage, "The play may not have been to my taste, but I think you did far better in it than it deserved."

She curtsies as he kisses her hand, "Thank you, kind sirrah, for seeing me to my door." A smile, "Be safe, Rev." She moves into the garden.

Then, as she remembers something, she leans back out, "And if you need any help, let me know." A cheerful wave and the gate closes behind her.

Fiosa Dress
She smiles, "Only if you come over to help drink it. After all, Cook will want to know how to make it correctly."

Jask
He smiles, "Depends on the planet. I've read tales of the most beautiful, perfect women mated to vile disgusting men. Four-armed savages and red-skinned humanoids. A planet of death."

carriage

"Of course my lady, and you are very welcome." He replies, grinning at the halfling. Once she is safely inside, Rev gets back into the carriage, and takes it almost all the way home. He has the driver stop a little ways away, so that he doesn't know where Rev lives. Rev is very friendly to the driver, and attempts to leave him with a good impression, 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 diplomacy
Fiosa Dress
It's a deal. Of course, it will have to wait for after this blasted party." He says. His unhappy look at having to deal with the party and the vault turns to a wicked grin. "At least I'll get to stare at your pretty legs, and chase off anyone who does the same."
Jask
"Now that sounds like the pre-pubescent dreams of some teenaged wizard." Rev grins at Jask. "What does your book say? And... more importantly, is it legitimate?" He is, in fact, quite serious and sincere. This is a subject he finds very interesting.

Larko
A few days before the dinner at the mayors house, Rev, during his normals rounds with Larko, asks the tall dark skinned man, "So whatever happened to Yakopulio? I don't think I've seen the gnome... well... not since that one time."

Tower of Perpetuity - Round 4

A step for a better angle, another arrow, another curse, another not enough power behind the shot.

Rev continues to stand ready to channel positive energy if a Shadow should show it's shadowy hide and hurt those breaking the mirrors.

Shadow from the north mirror and into stone. The other emerges from the other side of the stone curving wide around Azhar, avoiding the muscle-bound man, heading for the mortal whose first aimed for the mirrors. Rev channels, the cool soothing feeling eating away at the creature but not enough to destroy it. Its arm sinks into Janiven's chest.

Gravlax moves to provide flanking for Cassian and his magic rapier.

Fiosa channels, hoping to prevent the shadow from doing more damage. (1d6 ⇒ 51d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 2 = 7)

Melilot's stone slam into the mirrors, pieces of the metal start to flake off.

Azhar also swings with the beautifully made lucerne hammer, bashing. He may not say it verbally, but he is totally thinking two-handed power attack, bruiser, bruiser! His mirror seems so close to destruction that it seems almost a spit in his face that shadows teem under the surface.

Cassian, looking bored and ready to juggle his rapier, instead uses it to stab the shadow (1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 8 + 2 = 211d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6). The shadow, pierced by the magic weapon, whisps away into nothingness.

GM:

shadow2 -28 destroyed

shadow4 -19 destroyed

mirrorS -25

Cassian saunters over next to Azhar, and will either take a poke at the remaining shadow or merely wait for the next in the conga line of darkness.

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Azhar:
Gozran 16/after work, after library
There are many gargoyle statues. Many. Apparently a common theme of Chelish architecture.

She reacts well, moaning soft and low into his lips, until she realizes that you are in public and she pulls back hotly blushing.

Cassian:
Gozran 15/Calseinica
She hugs him closer, "That is a far more productive thought than my worries."

She smiles, "And what about you, Cassian? I will be more careful about play selection but what are you going to do?"

Gravlax:
Gozran 13/afterglow
"Dreams are over-rated. This.." moving against him, kissing his throat, "Is real. And... to be enjoyed while it lasts." Her voice sleepy, eyes heavy.

Rev:
Carriage
Rev does, in fact, leave the driver with a smile. His last small journey to his home safe and quiet.

Fiosa Dress
She smiles up at Rev, "They will be too busy assuming I'm someone's pet to stare at my legs." With a shrug as she moves out the door, "At least not until they are sure what price it will cost them."

Jask
Jask takes a deep breath, "I'm pretty sure the book is half reliable..." He chuckles, "It's just figuring out which half is fantasy and whisch half is truth."

"It does suggest that the gateway the elves used to escape Golarion during Starfall is just one in a larger series of portals that connect all of the planets in the solar system."

Larko
Larko shrugs, "I'm sure she'd come around if someone asked her specifically for help, but she isn't the kind to risk her neck for altruistic reasons." That is a maybe a smile on the laconic man's mouth, it is hard to tell, "Plus she has a brothel and bar to run."

"If you need her, that is the best place to look for her."
