The eventual goal is to give this to Rygel, so we have a mobile monkey healer.

Which of course means... the monkey should get a circlet of persuasion?
Rygel currently has a 20% chance of activating wands.

Hi everyone.
Due to a very big project at work, I'm going to have very limited free time for the next 11 weeks. Once we finish this section I'm going to take a short leave of absence from game so I can concentrate on work. Ill be able to post frequently again starting first week of November. Ive already let Mana know. Thanks for understanding.
Good luck, take care, and slay the paperwork demons righteously. :)

This is literally the only reason I've been giving Cassian Use Magic Device.

PARTY TREASURE
scroll of heal
Weight 1 lb, no magical aura; looks like a rune covered d12 when closed
Opens to a 5-ft square of wood and metal. An unfolded crux automatically folds as soon as a character attempts to bend any of the sheet’s four corners as a move-equivalent action. The crux automatically folds up around any objects that sit upon its face at this time.
Anything placed on surface at least partially is held in an extradimensional space. Physical size of each object is irrelevant—the sight of a crux folding up around a long polearm, for example, might make one assume the weapon was crushed and destroyed, but when the crux is next opened, the pole arm is unharmed. As an object that creates an extradimensional space, a Chelish crux functions as a portable hole.
Opening the crux requires tracing the runes on the face in a specific order, an action that takes a miniumum of 3 full-round actions. After 8 wrong sequences, the runes and the sequence needed to open the Crux changes.
Discovering the correct sequence takes a DC 35 Disable Device check or a DC 25 Intelligence check.
Grave candles are magical candles that draw forth spirits from the mortal remains of long-dead creatures, allowing the living to speak to them for a short period of time while the candle’s wick burns.
In order to function, a grave candle must be placed amid the physical remains of the body to be spoken to. These remains can be partial, or even just a handful of ash or grave dust, but a totally destroyed body (as results from destruction or disintegrate) doesn’t leave enough material for a grave candle to function. When it’s lit, the smoke rising from the candle grows thick, and a ghostly shape similar to the creature’s appearance in life manifests in the smoke.
At this point, the manifested spirit (which is as much an echo of the creature as it is the actual departed soul) can speak—a grave candle does not impart any additional understanding of languages. In other respects, the conversation with the dead spirit adheres to the rules for speak with dead (Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook 346), save that the dead spirit receives a –4 penalty on its saving throw to resist the spell. Furthermore, a dead body can only be successfully subjected to a grave candle once—the burning of the candle “burns out” the latent necromantic and spiritual energy left behind by the soul’s parting from the world (this does not harm the actual soul of the dead spirit).

With the boats procured - I am planning on having the Wave Door heist go forth on the evening of the 22nd or 23rd (or later - the choice is up to you.)
So far you have 3 rowboats which have 2 drivers and 2 passengers (one of the 'drivers' needs to have survival.
Which NPCs would you like to accompany you all?
Gravlax d'Antonio |
I'm hoping that Ailyn has a wayfinder. In which case, her too.
Which would put us at ... ten? Ailyn, Amaya, Arael, Azhar, Cassian, Fiosa, Gravlax, Janiven, Mathalen, Melilot, Tarvi. Eleven. And Jask or Larko could round out the dozen that will fit in three rowboats.
If we don't need Ailyn, then Jask *and* Larko.
And on another note, my internet access is unknown from Wednesday August 29 through Monday September 3. Going to WorldCon in Chicago. Taking the train.

Hey, all.
So, I sometimes like to experiment with the types of characters I play. Melilot was an experiment. Unfortunately, playing Melilot is boring the heck out of me.
So just FYI, I've talked to Mana and will be switching soon to a new character who will (hopefully) be significantly more interactive and stuff.
