female half-elf witch 13

Regarding Crosael, since we appear to be leaving that to flex ...

I'm pretty much feeling if she doesn't want to tell us whatever it is right now, fine. She goes and we find out from her later or we don't.

If other people want to keep trying, there's stuff we haven't done like Intimidate, Diplomacy, or Charm spells, but I'll put in my vote for letting it drop for now.

Male Human Rogue 13

I'm good with that. I'm also pretty confident in Cassian's ability to hunt her down.

Happy Thanksgiving, all.

to Zsz - me neither, but I think to get to the other side we would have to go back through the entrance room. which I think would be about two rounds to reach.

Male Human Rogue 13

I've never been able to successfully visualize any dungeon, so this is really par for the course for me.

Male Aasimar Ranger Skirmisher 13

ditto

Male Aasimar Ranger Skirmisher 13

Didn't actually say it, but have been assuming Zsz would be coordinating things through Messaging regardless of which group she is with. Luckily, I believe our kind and benevolent GM has taken this into account. Thank you, ok&bgm!

She really thought she had one more round to heal herself.

Congratulations - you are 10 tenth level as you head past the cells into the Spiral.

Claim. Cassian doesn't need the head, though.

No claims for Zsz.

I am very surprised that no one claimed the Rufinus Chard. They're so handy!

Full up on kale at the moment, actually. Still have plenty of [kale|collard greens|swiss chard] from last year's garden, as last winter was mild out here.

Although I hear that the Rufus Chard has a more robust flavor but also a rougher texture.

female half-elf witch 13

Just FYI, I will be traveling from December 19th until January 7. I should have internet access some but not all of that time. However, even if the connection problems with Paizo I've been having clear up once I'm out of Germany, my posting rate is likely to go down considerably.

Male Human Mobile Fighter 11 Acrobat 2

I myself will be traveling from December 15 through December 25. With much the same caveats (excepting the connection problems).

Sadly, my posting rate has been pretty low of late. You might not notice much change.

NESSIAN SPIRAL III - LOOT POST (Joriavah's Bedroom)

Can a destroyed magic item be repaired for 1/4 list price, or only a broken one? If the former, with an initial investment of 18,750 gp plus some scrolls and, I'd imagine, a commission fee for Tarvi, we could sell it (probably fairly easily in Cheliax) for 37,500 gp. That'd be a profit of somewhere around 4,000 gp per person if all four of us pitch in.

With Tarvi's skill and assistance from Amaya, this will work.

The initial investment will be 18,750 gp and will not require any scrolls. This will give the group a profit of 18,750 gp when it sells. (This assumes you pay the crafters nothing for their work :) )

Doing this will take both Tarvi and Amaya 38 full days of working on it. During this time they would not be able to take any group commissions for magic items nor work well enough at their jobs to bring in their normal income. (They are happy to do so if that is what you guys want - just wanted to be clear on the cost.)

Addendum: Or I should say - any commissions from the group will delay work on the robe of the archmagi. Since they can put it aside and come back to it.

Male Aasimar Ranger Skirmisher 13

how about cutting them each in on a full share instead of whatever they normally get?
I have no idea what this actually works out to, just an "off-the-cuff" sounds right to me suggestion.

female half-elf witch 13

Running the numbers OOC fashion:

If we pay Amaya and Tarvi nothing, profit would be 4687.5 gp per person for four investors.

If we pay them 1,375 gp apiece, profit would be 4,000 gp per person for four investors.

If we want to pay them with an equal share, that's 3,125 gp for each of them and all four investors.

In the last scenario, we'd each spend 4687.5 gp for basic costs, 1562.5 gp to cover Tarvi and Amaya's payment, and we each eventually get back 9,375 gp for a total profit of 3,125 gp.

Male Human Rogue 13

Giving them some cash would help with rent, since we're going halvsies these days.

female half-elf witch 13
Cassian Merro wrote:

Well, admittedly an equal share would only cover Tarvi's half of the rent on your apartment for a little more than 17 years.

(I kind of like the equal share plan, I think. It's felt kind of weird not paying them for the work.)

Male Human Rogue 13

I feel a little weird backing the full share plan, just because Tarvi is sort of "my" NPC (and eventual cohort, unless something odd happens). So giving her a lot of cash could be seen as benefiting me more than others.

That said, I'm backing it, but it's a soft backing. If it ends up being a tie, feel free to decide it the other way.

Male Aasimar Ranger Skirmisher 13

likewise, Amaya is "my" cohort. I will abstain from here and go with whatever you other three decide.

Male Human Mobile Fighter 11 Acrobat 2

No claim. I am good for the "repair and sell" plan.

In favor of either full share or 1375 gp share. Let's share the wealth.

But next round's on them.

LOOT POST - NESSIAN SPIRAL - DARGENTU VHEED
Starting with the disputed claim:
ring of protection +3 (9,000 gp)
Azhar (11,193 gp) vs Zsz (11,075 gp) <- ZSZ

Non-disputed:
ring of wizardry I (10,000 gp) <- ZSZ
amulet of natural armor +3 (9,000 gp) <- AZHAR

destroyed black robe of the archmagi (0 gp) <- held to repair and sell at later date

female half-elf witch 13

I have a Ring of Protection +2 I would be happy to sell to another character at a discount if anyone wants it. Half list price would be 4000 gp, or make me an offer.
