Stump nods at Marcy's comment.Aye I suppose that may be the best route, I don't like the idea of all that water but its certainly faster then walking. I suppose we should get going then?
"Well I do not mind paying the ferry, but it still looks like they are stealing from me"
"I wonder what they'll charge to get your horse accross..."
Marcy watches Draig leave, and then nods to Stump as he slides his pick into the strap on his back."Aye. No time like the present."Patting the two wineskins that hang from his belt to ensure that they are full, he sets off toward the docks, keeping an eye out for Draig.
"Sometimes the question isn't 'can it be done' but 'should it'. I think your horse might agree that the answer to THAT question is decidedly 'No'."
Marcy un-apologetically pushes his way through the crowd which seemes to be growing thicker as they make their way to the waterfront. He draws a few unkind stares in return for his bruskness, but due to his formidable size (or perhaps the well cared for weapon he carries) these mostly turn to hurried apologies. The man seems not to notice one way or the other.
"Heretical disregard for nature," he quotes as they near the docks."That's what the other fellows said. Anyone have any thoughts on how we might convince these Undine that we're the very f#$&ing bastions of nature and all she stands for?"He gives the group a curious look.
Standing by the waterside Draig practices somatic spell components.
Some of spells that would be recognized by a Knowledge Arcana check, others look original, as he seems to be searching for inspiration.
"Thats fine I might need all the power I can spare." "I was looking forward to teasing the locals, but I like Marcy's idea. he says with a grin on his face
